great video. brings back memories for me. My grandfather was a senior exectutive at Emirates over in Dubai both airlines are run in a very similair ways. effiecent but precise and well thought through. probably a big reason why both airlines are among the worlds best.
Wow!!! The best aviation video I have ever seen. Was like a professional documentary. Hard to believe this is from a free lancing UA-camr. Kudos Dennis.
Loved this - so interesting to see how it all comes together and, having flown Qatar many times, I've always been impressed with how smoothly everything seems to run - this explains why!
Dennis a great video and thank you for taking us behind the scenes at Qatari airways work it is very interesting please keep up these great videos behind the scenes.
Thanks for sharing this very interesting video. I never realized how much behind the scenes activity is involved in running an airline. I presume all the major airlines have a similar setup.
Brilliant viewing Dennis. Husband is a retired airforce maintenance engineer and we travel a lot, so your videos are our favs. Viewing from UK as well as when we’re in Australia 👍👌
Thank you Dennis. What struck my spouse and I when we checked in on a flight to San Sebastián from Melbourne, was the staff's willingness to provide boarding passes for our last leg ( Madrid to San Sebastián) by checking the SS's airport designation, thus enabling us to have a dream transfer in Madrid! Returning home from CDG with adult children at 6 am we were ushered to the Q lounge at level 11 to be treated with charm and care. Journey there and back in Q suites was splendid and it does make me question why Qantas simply does not treat its guests like the Emirates, Qatar etc. Being P travellers it still makes us sad that we are now forced to be guided by how we are treated by airlines rather than costs. How does your company guide its guests in the selection of how to get to your tour destination. Hint, hint?
I find Qantas cabin crew pretty good. But geeze you get off a BC Emirates flight, and couple of hours later on Qantas BC and the food is shocking. Did that 6 weeks ago and Qantas are really losing it. When going to Europe we now always fly Emirates out of Singapore. If you need to ring thank you can get through in a couple of minutes. Out of Perth we are pretty limited on Qantas International anyway.
Really fascinating video Dennis, it's really amazing what goes on behind the scenes with aviation and I think it's to easy to take these things for granted. Watched from the UK x
Yeah this was a great video, Dennis. I love to see Operations Centers and how they are organized. It would be interesting to see how they compare to western airlines such as Qantas, BA, or any of the American Big 3. I wonder where Qatar Flight Watch personnel received their training? There is a great school in Florida that I almost attended that handles training for Airline Dispatchers. Thanks
This was completely fascinating. Seems they have everything in order. Makes me wonder what the other airlines do and why some of my experiences on other airlines have been so utterly terrible when flights are delayed etc.
Superb as always Dennis! Loving these behind the scenes videos. It would be super cool if you were allowed similar access at either DXB or LHR, given the scale at which they operate. Cheers and hope you're doing well mate!
Hi Dennis, Thanks for the interesting video! However I do feel it is just a PR exercise by Qatar Airways after a certain UA-cam Channel showed there true colours IMO! Take care and thanks again Dennis.
An interesting view of the operations centre. Did you ask about Qatar’s habit of repeatedly changing aircraft types and timings in the weeks running up to a departure? Unfortunately pre and post flight customer service at Qatar does not have the same focus.
An interesting fluff piece, but I am sure that every other airline has something similar. Qatar are not unique in this regard. I recall that QF32 has the same resources to call upon when the engine exploded after takeoff from Singapore. More seriously, I would never fly on Qatar following the disgusting treatment their government gave those women a couple of years ago.
Point is that no airline would grant access to its behind the scenes operation unless it was sure that it would gain positive coverage. QR has a new CEO and he wants to project a different image for his airline.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 So we agree it's a PR fluff piece. And the airline cannot guarantee that the Qatari government and police would not violate women the same way in the future.
@@Martin2153 Misunderstanding. I never used those words. It's a good and positive report of an airline which has won numerous awards for product quality.
As a female I thank you Martin. I would never fly them, even though I would love to try the Q suites for reasons you suggested. Disgusting what happened to those ladies.
What a brilliant video, Dennis. Really interesting. Great you got in there. Thanks. Watching in the UK.
Qatar airlines are amazing. Can't wait until we fly with them again.
Well done Dennis!!! I reckon it’s an achievement when travel UA-camr gets an opportunity to go behind the scene.
great video. brings back memories for me. My grandfather was a senior exectutive at Emirates over in Dubai both airlines are run in a very similair ways. effiecent but precise and well thought through. probably a big reason why both airlines are among the worlds best.
Great video. I had an idea what goes on behind the scenes but this really explains it. Looking forward to the next video!

Thank you Dennis, this video was super interesting 😊 Love seeing " behind the scene " kind of video, unseen job but vital !
This was an absolutely amazing perspective as to what goes in behind the scenes
Great video! Good to know the organization behind the scenes, it’s a complex operation that we take for granted.
Fascinating video, thank you for bring it to us

Fascinating indeed . Thanks for this Dennis!
Airlines are so complex!!
Wow! It’s not easy running the operation of an airline. So much work and co-ordination behind the scene. Full credit to the back room staff👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Fantastic video Dennis! Such a great look at the logistics of a large global airline. Your videos continue to set the standard for excellence.
Marvellous Mr Bunnik
intriguing
Such an interesting video! Thanks for sharing!
This is fascinating! I've been really enjoying your behind the scenes videos!
Wow, that was so informative to know how well the details of any flight is handled. Thank you Dennis and well done. Angela from Australia.
Hi Dennis, just had a chance to watch this video,.. absolutely brilliant Mate.Such a great insight to what goes on behind the scene…Well Done .
I just love these behind the scenes videos Dennis. Totally fascinating.
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing such great access.
What a brilliant well detailed video . Thank you Dennis
Well done
Fascinating insight. Can see why they're such a great airline
Like 👍🏽. Great videos Dennis. Clear, friendly and no drama.
Unsung heroes - absolutely! Super video. Thanks, Dennis.
I hope you didn’t name drop Josh Cahill while you were there. 😂
He only does it for the views. He is not a travel agent and only judges airlines on the flight he is on, which is one of thousands operated per year.
Great video Dennis! I think I’ve found my dream job.
Thanks for sharing Dennis, absolutely intriguing! I was watching the other episodes earlier this week, so insightful! 😁

Thanks. Yes I agree - would love to see how one of the American big 3 do their ops - the numbers compared to Qatar are staggering.
Amazing and very informative. Thanks Dennis
love it!
What a great video Dennis
Extremely interesting video. Thanks, Dennis.

Thanks Dennis for sharing as always.
Fantastic video Dennis!😸
How cool! Not only did you get to go into the Qatar IOC, BUT BUT BUT... you got to close the video out from Adelaide! #Legend
Great content.
Awesome vid Dennis. Flying Cape Town /Doha next month so its great to see this
More vlogs pls

Would love to see the Qantas one/s
Looks like everything is under control there Dennis. Good to know. 😃😃
Great video, this is insightful! Does Qantas or Virgin has a similar center and way of working?
Thanks! I haven't seen any of the Ops centres in Australia but i believe the Qantas one is pretty impressive.
@@DennisBunnikTravels Maybe one day a video from you on that one. I visited the KLM operation center once and it was very impressive.
2:44 Paul looks like Neville Longbottom 😆
Hi i love your channel would be even better if you can do more economy receives
Why is left side of the picture on the right side and vise versa?
I could only listen to the video.
Why is a A380 landing in Mumbai? Dennis needs content.
Good video, but I will never fly on Qatar.
Do you get something in return for making this video?
Hi Dennis, Thanks for the interesting video! However I do feel it is just a PR exercise by Qatar Airways after a certain UA-cam Channel showed there true colours IMO!

Thanks. Can understand that but this one was filmed just over a year ago so well before the other stuff that went down.

And 30 million minus 1 Josh Cahill! 😂 🫶
