Hey Jamie could you make a video about having female groomswoman or male bridesmen? How to go about doing it successfully, what to keep in mind, how to match etc? I think I want to have a female groomsman for my wedding but my girlfriend really wants everything to match and I understand that. Ik people do this but I don't really see a lot of examples on the internet so id love to hear what you think. Love your videos!
I’d be interested too, I bet you already have seen this but the only examples I’ve really seen for matching is like making the groom’s people colors all the same regardless of gender. Like the groom’s sister has a navy dress that matches the navy suits.
Our groom’s party will include one woman and she’ll wear a long black dress to match the guys’ black suits. My female friends will all be wearing a different color. One of them will likely wear a suit as that’s much more her style, and it will match the color of the rest of my party. I think keeping with the same colors is the best visually.
Hi Jared! If your fiancée is very invested in "matching" maybe your grooms woman can look for a jumpsuit, would still have the same general shape as a suit but a nicer and honestly more comfortable alternative to a dress. However I've been in/been to a few weddings in the past where a member of the bridal party wore a suit and they matched it perfectly to the color scheme. Just keep in mind that its also your day too and that your opinion matters. If you want someone special who happens to be a female in the grooms party then do it, you want your most important people surrounding you on your big day.

I already have a Cricut and I am making the wood paper wedding invitations! I might be using metallic vinyl instead of the stamp though. Or have my Cricut write out/draw out the designs on them! I also can easily make the little tag with my Cricut! Possibilities are truly endless.

Tip select your text box, press advanced and then ungroup to letters. This will allow you to move each individual letter. So much fun stuff you can do with a cricut I love mine! Seeing that heat press is tempting me to get one myself.

Pros and cons of DJ vs Band, or your experiences when someone DIY their own music, when should your DJ/Band begin playing for the night (Cocktail hour, dinner, after dinner, etc.) If you don't have a DJ for the whole day, what should you do for ceremony music?

Type your text into Inkscape (free software), "Union" it (same as welding in DS), and save as a SVG to import into DS. It Auto joins the text 🥰

It's so great you got a sponsor! But you should put a bit more research into this company. It's true that for what it is, up until recently, it was an amazing product despite it not being accurate sometimes when cutting. The issue is that recently they have changed it so that you can only use their specific program (which is a subscription on top of the 400$ printer cutter) when setting up the templates and can only do up to 20 projects a month. The reason why this is a problem is because, like I mentioned earlier, the cricut can sometimes be inaccurate with it's cutting and you often have to resize and change the layout several times to get it to cut out the images correctly. Which means that you could use up to 5-10 out of the 20 "project" slots available for the month in one session trying to print and cut one image. The reason why they did this was because recently their company put themselves into the stock market, and to be able to collect more data they made is subscription based. So basically it was an amazing company, and in theory the new system would be great, but that only works if their system was 100% accurate every time which for many users it is not.
I read that if you are a current user, that subscription model does not apply. While I agree that them changing to it is less than appealing, if you’re thinking about getting one, get it now. Make your profile now, and get in before the new subscription happens.
Seriously?????It's 9.99 a month for the subscription. Less than 2 Starbuck drinks. The machines do go on sale. I purchased my Cricut Maker 3 at Best Buy for 299.00 just before Christmas a couple of years ago. So extremely user friendly for beginners. JS

I haven't kept up with this product since the new subscription thing because I personally felt it wasn't worth the money if it wasn't accurate most of the time. It's great it works for you though! I've just heard too many horror stories to personally wanna put my own money into this product. At the time I felt (and still feel) that people promoting products should disclose information like this to help people make the best decision for them. It works for some but for others it isn't worth it.
@LoveContageous yes. I'm sorry for your experience with Cricut. I do see it was from 2 years ago and I felt people still look at tutorials and still read comments so I gave my "Current" information opinion. I have creative Fabrica and Canva pro along with Cricut and in 16 years I have only needed to contact support once (how to link the old cartridges with new online subscription). Most every kind of trouble shooting is online now. My intention was to inform my positive current experience not offend you for your less positive experience. Just like Cameo and silhouette studio business was not for me. Something for everyone.

I'm interested in buying a cricut but they are wildly expensive and I'm not sure I can justify it.
I know I can use it for other stuff as well as my wedding stationery and decor but I'm just worried that it won't actually save me any money in the long run.
It's a LOT of money to spend in one go.
I do like making birthday and Christmas cards by hand every year but I only send them to 10 different people so I'm just really torn on whether it will be a wise investment 💭
