I dedicate this song to my daughter who is 1 month old. She's my rainbow baby after 4 losses. Never thought that I would have her. She is such a blessing!
I'm a 71 year old man, married for 50 years(not that either makes a difference), and I listen to Enya's music to help settle my nerves and just relax. Her music is just beautiful.
Married for 50 years, that's respect. Staying with the same woman for such a long time is beautiful. So I'd say it makes a very good difference when you comment in terms of telling us, the readers, what sort of a human you are. :)
What is the number of years from it you loved nature and whatever around? - My question is pretty simple and gives pretty easy understanding of another question and answer... 🙂
I'm a grown man and Enya does somethin to my soul. Shit makes me cry, yo. She writes simple, yet profoundly beautiful music. It doesn't have to be complicated, people. Write beautiful melodies and beautiful words, put em together. Profit.
Enya is absolutely one the most beautiful most enchanting creatures God ever created. Her music sounds like it would be the music in the elevator to heaven 🙏
Same, altho for me it was the early 90s. And now I'm a forager and wild food person and am a very different 50 something wild child. I've noticed that I look stunning, if messy & dirty & not really cute symmetry-wise, when I see pics of me out in the wild.
This song is very memorable to me: Back in 2000, I ba me homeless but I got employment being a delivery driver. My boss was kind enough to lend me the van I was driving and this was the music I kept hearing. I was homeless from that year to 2002 and sounds as it's crazy, but it was the best times of my life....I didn't need anything because I kept what I earned and there's no rent to pay, I just buy food that day and lived like that. I thought I was going to stay that way for awhile and I was ready and willing until my sister invited me to live with her because she needed help to pay her mortgage. That was 14 years ago and I still cherish this song by Enya. :)
You were lucky to have a job & van to sleep in off the streets. It does not sound crazy that it was the best time of your life ~ a great experience to learn how to survive when one does not have a home to go home to, a ready toilet, shower, unable to store food or cook. I have known homeless who did cook on grills at parks, yet not the same as having ones own kitchen.
I went to a Spa for massage yesterday, I kid you not, it was my first time hearing this song and the artist. When I came back home, I look it up online until I finally found it. "What a Day! ❤ What a beautiful angelic and relaxing voice Enya has. I have created special playlist for all of her albums. ❤❤❤
Ur joking right? 🙆. Btw 2005 down i played all her songs during my skul days so much dat everyone around me started downloading her musics wit waptrick 😂
This song is a masterpiece and her voice is like the voice of an angel in heaven! Definitely one of her best songs ever and it's definitely one of my favorites! If I need stress relief. I just listen to her music! Nostalgic!💕💕🌈🌈💮💮🌼🌼✨🎆
I must say, its hard for me these days to feel love in my heart. but this song makes me remember the days of old, when i was a kid and all i cared about was others happiness. i believed in God and i knew he loved me. I still know he loves me, its just that with all the drugs ive used its hard to feel spiritually connected. but i know there must still be some good in me. God of the heavens, bless everyone. Happy new year, and thank you Enya. You are truly an angel from God. What a wonderful gift.
Enya's music is otherworldly. So calming. It speaks to your soul. I remember teachers always playing her music during art class and "silent time" at lunch in elementary school.
I started listening to her back in the early 90's and never looked back. So melodic, beautiful, and sometimes ethereal. I get lost in her music. Don't come find me. ;)
Una música que encanta, delicada, fina, también la escucho hace más de 20 años, una amiga me compartió esa música de allí no la dejé de oír, esta amiga está en el cielo, cosas como estas llenan el alma.
Thank you Mamma to showing me Enya when i was little baby! All my childhood was with these songs! Now I'm putting my 4 months old daughter to sleep with Enya's songs ❤
it was great to put U to sleep when U had a CD player that could shut itself down on a timer; I never heard the accusation about her being a witch; remember that many who stood up against the corruption of the Roman Catholics were tortured or otherwise oppressed; that's not what Jesus taught; so Luther's reforms were desperately needed; we need to reinstate RESPECT ( agree to disagree and pray for those who would want to cause U harm); the Romans never could wipe out the Celts who basically could be accredited for the rise of the Romans in the 1st place when they encroached on land in the Italian peninsula
I love her voice, her instrumental abilities and her music. All are lush, and I love the fact that her writing is so damned melodic, always putting the song first. I think what I love the most, though, is how the music is produced. That might sound odd, but if you listen and listen closely, you'll hear things, little bits and pieces, embedded in the mix, that don't immediately jump out at you. Enya is that rarity in pop music: a songwriter who doesn't bare all on first listen.
A few months back I was listening to one of her previous albums with the only thought going through my head was the feeling as though it were a completely different song than I remember.
What's even more amazing is that she's become so big (Ireland's biggest-selling artist after U2), yet she's never done a concert tour - it's all on the strength of her albums.
I heard Enya's music at 1985 when I had 16 years old, now I have 52 years, listen her voice is like a poem sound, she has a angelical voice and always enjoy thats moments....thanks Enya for your music...
The 12 people that disliked this were jealous of her beautiful voice and looks.Enya is amazing, she's creative and weaves instruments together amazingly.
Why...why do I like Enya. >__> I was told to listen to her back in 2012...just started listening to her again. The sounds are just easy on the ears. Feels nice.
The first song I heard by Enya was Boadicea in 1988, although I think the album it was on "the Celts" had been out for a while already. I was instantly hooked, Enya is truly peerless when in comes to making beautiful music that says so much while saying so little.
This song was made for my daughter. In her early teens she did become wild. I thought we would never get her back from the dangerous life she was living. The pain was too much for myself and my wife to bare. It put tremendous pressure on our marriage. It was 2 years of constant worrying and hell. We divorced after 25 years of happily being married. Selfelshily I just couldnt take much more. All our friends told us we had brought her up in a kind loving home, and one day she would come right. And she did... She is a good wife and a superb mum. Me and my ex wife are very proud of her. My new wife is too. Never give up on your children. I nearly did.
I love Enya so much. I'd love to meet her. This is one of my all time favorite songs. Her music just gives me a feeling I don't get from anything else. It really does sweep me away to another place.
A hauntingly beautiful song...like all of her music. I once listened to Shepherd Moons during a walk in a winter forest. It transported me to a whole new dimension. It's hard to explain but it had a major impact on me. Enya's music, but it has a dramatic effect to your thoughts and spirituality.
I heard on a movie and I have been looking for this since 2005 too it takes me long but finally am here and I found out who's this gifted beautiful artist, Her name and personal life feel lucky now :)
I found this on July 10th this year. It was the first time I have ever heard this beautiful melody. Just as I got out of the movie theater, the first words I said was "Siri, what song is playing?" And she replied in a split second saying "Hmm, sounds like Wild Child by Enya" gotta love iPhone and this song
Some people are sent straight from God, because humanity needs a boost. Enya is one of a very few of these. I grin from ear to ear whenever I hear one of her songs.
I have heard parts of her songs for years, but just came to her videos by way of a Volvo truck ad. WOW, her and her music are wonderful. She has a heavenly aura about her. Gives me chills. A new fan for life, Enya.
I used to wonder why Enya shut herself off from the world. Who am I to judge? The woman seems happy, her music is stellar, and she is beautiful! Truly blessed to have her music around, I've been listening to it since I was just a kid. She must've been sent from above!
Because she knows how cruel and sick humanity on the whole is; she is truly a gift from God to us who appreciate her and her music. Everyone here be blessed.

I am from Nigeria and Enya's music helped my perceptual imagination. And I am a great Poet because God guided me to hear her song at the age 16 in 2007.
Yes Enya.... I just had brain surgery... yes, i stopped to listen...What a way to make it through...I let the source in...i let him share my soul...i let him heal my sick, acidic,,poisoned dying, abused, rejected, unloved, body...he filled me with enough love and light to carry me through....What a day...a wild child....what a way to make it...thank u lovely Enya.... Hahaha I'm a wild child so I guess that makes this my theme song. I love Enya. She inspires me to do great things with my life like go to college, go for my dreams, and live up to all of what I'm expected to do or be. Her music makes even the darkest of moments seem somewhat happy and bright. I wish she could live forever but even if she can't her music will.
That cat walking in a straight line at the very beginning of the video got to me and I'm not quite sure why . Beautiful beyond words, absolutely breathtaking, timeless pieces of music by Enya
I remember the biggest tribute to Enya was when the Celtic Irish group Celtic women said they owed every song they sang at St Patrick's day was due to Enya and her songs....!
As a child on the autism spectrum with adhd, to grow up as an adult. This song has so much meaning. Thank you Enya for singing the experiences growing up...
This song was and its album was played every time my parents would clean or go out on drives when I was young. I am near an adult and still filled with the feeling of joy and serenity from the memories of a child. I thank my parents for playing Enya's songs. I really love the feelings I always get from listening to her songs. Her songs were a gift for everyone to hear honestly.
Enya's music is so relaxing and peaceful. Was turned on to her music in 2001 and when I listen to her I feel such a sense of calm.
I dedicate this song to my daughter who is 1 month old. She's my rainbow baby after 4 losses. Never thought that I would have her. She is such a blessing!

Ever stop and listen
Ever feel alive
And you've nothing missing

Let the day go on and on
Let the rain fall down

Give into it now
Let the day surround you

Let the rain go on and on
What a day, what a day to take to
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child

Every day you find
Everything's in kilter

Every spring to come
Every autumn leaving

Before someone asks in every single year who’s still listening… Everybody who loves it… Forever, dude. Forever. Do not ask. Just enjoy 😃
Hermosas melodias, perfectamente interpretadas por una voz anelical. Gracias por deleitarnos con tan esplendida musica.
Si, su música es tan bella como ella!!!
Oh so beautiful Enya Song. Pure Fairytale. 😀❤🌠🌻💕
Listening to this song makes you live in the imagination of a perfect world, making you forget a little about the dark world we face today,
The best type of music that creates a peace of mind.
Enya's music really brings back a lot of memories, her music is so beautiful and make people unforgettable.
Não canso jamais de ouvir e aprender com essas lindas canções da Enya!
That cat walking in a straight line at the very beginning of the video got to me and I'm not quite sure why . Beautiful beyond words, absolutely breathtaking, timeless pieces of music by Enya

As a child on the autism spectrum with adhd, to grow up as an adult. This song has so much meaning. Thank you Enya for singing the experiences growing up...
This song gives me so many shivers it hurts!
That's how legit this song it :)
Thank you Enya for all your music that you made. You are one of my most favourite music interpretes.
