I love around 9:30 there's a random edit when he points to the tablet lol but that rotation of the stencil was absolutely wonderful! I appreciated this large!

I have a problem with the paper being rolled up and unable to print. Can you help me fix it?
YOOO that ipad wobble was just an amasing detail lmao i lost it and rewinded so many times on that 😂
i agree with 763 !
Hi there ;) Awesome review, and I´m gonna give you my 2 cents if you don´t mind ;)
First of all, Paul is a legit guy with a lot of experience, and he explained perfectly everything, and not only this, but even the tips and tricks about these Brother printers. Second, as an experienced tattooer, I´ve used them for many years and yes, they are solid as a rock, I think that I never had to clean them, so they need almost zero maintenance. But, they are sitting now at the studio as a secondary option since I started using the new Epson/Inkjet combo system.
Reasons explained: The Brother, even the newest models, have a limited ppp, and memory buffer, this sometimes drives you on troubles. Sometimes you struggle with the paper/bents/heat. You have to align, cut and correct the alignment of the paper while feeding it. Your hands get dirty, and everything around your printer becomes purple just in a few days at work. Sometimes you must play with the document opacity because of the limited ppp/buffer/printer sysem itself. With intrincated designs you´ll have cuts of lines, extra lines, small splashes and empty spaces (sometimes).
Menawhile, with the Epson system you just have to feed the Inkjet stencil liquid on the printer reservoir, place a bunch of papers as you´d normally do with a regular printer (need to mention that these papers must be Inkjet stencil paper, but I even worked with regular paper) go to your preferred software, send to print and BOOM. Stencil done.
No need to mess with paper placement. No paper bents, heat issues. No more dirty hands or desk. PERFECT definition (higher ppp and buffer) and by the way, you can use the stencil liquid of your choice, even when they swear that you might use their particular liquid ( personally I love "Hulk")
Yes, as Paul says, who cares about a stencil on the skin with the full photography of the design, we all trace the main lines at the tablet and then go to the stencil printer, but man, even for this, the Epson system is tons better. I used, and I´m sure that I´ll still be using the Brother, but if you want your tattooist life to be easier, Epson/Inkjet is the way to go.
My apologies if this is just a commercial and I´m disturbing at the channel, but I strongly suggest you to add this to your store, review and compare it, and who knows, maybe soon we will see this at your awesome UA-cam channel. And sorry about my bad english ;)
So with epson printer stencil I can use even electrum to transfer on to skin?
@@vadims331 hi don't use electrum but with the others that I used it worked without any problem. I also have the inkjet transfer liquid because I bought the complete pack, but don't see any difference.
@@eduki there are quite few them inkjet printers.wich ones are good then?
@@vadims331mostly Epson. You will find at youtube vids if you type "printers for inkjet stencil printer" there are some models... Mine is the ET-2600 which is great, but if I'd have to choose it again, I'd go for the other Epson with smaller ink charge bottles and you don't have to throw in all your inkjet stencil ink inside. Anyway several months after I filled my printer's bottles, it never dried. (I don't remember this model's serial number, but I'm pretty sure that you are going to find it at the UA-cam,and the right instructions about it. If not, write me and I'll guide you ;)
@@eduki how long stencil stays on the skin?
I got the 763 but not the mfi
I have the pocket jet 763mfi
Hey! I bought a pj-723 from your website, it works perfectly, but the problem is that it does not have a battery. is the battery included?
Hey, no battery is included with the printer, but we do offer them here: www.killerinktattoo.co.uk/brother-li-ion-battery-pabt002-for-pocketjet-pj-723-and-pj-773-thermal-printers
Hi Paul I wonder if you can help me. I recently bought a pj 763 and use the iPrint&Scan app with it but I can’t size my image by accurately as there doesn’t seem to be a way to measure other than guessing. Also I normally need to print several images on one sheet but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this without running the sheet through one image at a time to get all the images on the sheet. Plus it doesn’t seem to be any use for oversize stencils that span over several A4 sheets like large back pieces. I have to revert to my 732 and windows frequently for these needs. I’m hoping that I’m just not aware of the functions of iPrint&Scan and scan properly and you might be able to put me right. I know you’re a busy guy but I’m hoping you might help me. Thanks for reading my message. Chris
I bought a used pj662 Bluetooth printer. Im trying to get it to work on my android phone? Any help works
my problem is getting a stencil where there is a variation between thick and thin lines. the thick lines get too hot and melt the plastic and thus destroying the print.. however if i lower density then the thin lines don't show up. any advice?
Hi, you may need to lighten the image before printing. If you need further assistance, please feel free to email us at info@killerinktattoo.co.uk
Do I have to use a clear carrier for these? if not will it even work if I make sense
Hi, no you don't need to use a clear carrier for these printers. Just the paper to print on with the yellow sheet and protective sheet removed.
Hello, I have a PocketJet PJ622 and I was wondering how you fill up the ink for this printer and which make is the best to use? Thank you
Hi, you don't fill up the PocketJet printers with ink - you just use carbon paper when printing, as shown in the video.
😂
For an iPad pro use, what is the main difference between 763MFI and 773 model? I mean except the bluetooth and wifi, what does it changes finaly? Sorry but I can't well understand all the video because I'm not English. Thank you
Hi, they are the main differences really. Except for the connection, they both perform the same, in terms of printing.
Thank's for this video more! I'd like to know which SOFTWARE settings Mr. Talbot used towards the end of the video to launch and adjust the intensity of the print???
Do you do it from the Photoshop or Procreate print settings or from the installed Brother printer settings? Thanks so much for an answer! 🙌🙌🙌
Hey Antonio, if you go to 41:13, Paul uses the Brother iPrint & Scan app for his iPad. However, you can also change print intensity through the print settings tool program from Brother. If you have the printer and cannot find the program, you can download it off their site.
@@KillerInkTattooEU Thank you! Yes i've already the PJ-763 Mfi and I have some issues about printing with shade gradient like the last print on this video! I tried many times with the Brother software settings or by Photoshop, modifying the intensity and using the "Stencil Mode" but I can't reach and get the shades on paper, just the outlines! I hope soon to get the new iPad with microled that Apple is expected to market in late 2020. I'm waiting for!!!
I like
These printers but sadly mine has been giving me vertical lines in my stencils ! But really handy on the road
Hey Nick, check out what Paul says about print-outs with marks on it at 35:48 and see if that helps solve your issue!
the brother printer 763 can work with iphone if its not MFI???
Hi I have a pj-723 and I have adjusted the setting to fit the paper but it continues to smoosh my my design and creats these horizontal lines. Any idea how to fix it ?
Hi Brookie, you're best checking that Stencil Mode is turned on. It might also be worth changing the density of the print to combat the lines issue. Switch to linework on the design to avoid solid colour areas too.
Do you think the Brother PJ763 will be compatible with my iPad? It’s not the mfi copier
Hi Karina, you would be best checking out Brother's website or contacting them regarding compatibility with your specific printer and iPad model.
I have a problem that when printing the stencils get rolled onto the rubber shaft and get crumpled. Is there any way to install it or how to fix it? help me
Hi, some solutions are to clean the rollers, check print density and guide the paper out of the printer while printing, as it can catch if it is not supported.
It may also be to do with the reference image. If it is too dark or features a lot of solid colour in the area, it can heat the carbon and cause it to stick.
Thanks, which spirit stencil paper is fit with this model?
Hey, Any stencil paper called Thermal will work with it.

Hi! I have the 722 and I don’t know if I bought the wrong paper or I’m doing something wrong when I’m printing the stencil it looks like is not hot enough but I can see a little trace on the transfer paper but is not solid at all. The paper I’m using is the replica thermal transfer. Can you guys help me with that
Hi Marietta, can you please send a video and some pictures to info@killerintattoo.co.uk so we can have a look and offer some advice.
Does anyone know how to fix these things? I have all lights blinking red and my Bluetooth light blinking as well. Since the day I got it. I can’t seem to get ahold of support. There are no articles on the internet to troubleshoot besides Brother website which is not helpful. I just want to use this dang thing already
Hi, if the data light is solid/blinking and you haven't done anything, try putting a piece of paper through because it might just be printing a report. This is caused by pressing and holding the feed button.
If that doesn't solve the issue, Brother has a support email and you can also email our team at info@killerinktattoo.co.uk if you purchased the printer from us.
Can one one artist be connected to it via Bluetooth at at time. If we all run apple pencils we would have to shut off iPads in order for an artist to print.?
Does anyone know if you can use a 3rd party power adapter ? I've bought a pj763 but didnt realise the power supply doesn't come with it
Hi, we would not recommend using a 3rd party power adapter. If you bought your printer from us, it should come with a power adapter as standard.
Does the PJ723 have stencil mode. I find my printer just jams and scrunches up on itself if I send anything other basic solid linework designs through it. HELP!!!!!
Hi Rakhee, if you access the Printer Settings Tool program from Brother, you will be able to see stencil mode. If you have the printer and cannot find the program, you can download it off their site.

The 763 is good for ipad or the 773 is good for ipad pls?
Hi Chris, you'd be best with the 763 in this case because of the integrated iAP (MFi) Bluetooth profile.
I think over 500€ for a little Printer without the battery and WITHOUT the PowerCord is like to buy a TV without the remote and the remote than cost 1/3 off the TV. Only they know this printer can use for stencil making. Years ago the police had this in their cars. Nobody thought about to use it as a stencil printer. Seems they think Tattooartists can grab deep in the pocket……
Has anyone had any issues with setting up the 773 on wps on the router? We bought it so it can be connected to the wifi router and used by our artist easily, but holding down the wifi button for 5 secs (like the manual states) does nothing. Is our printer faulty or are we doing something wrong? :(
Hi, wireless setup details can be found on the Brother site: support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=us&faqid=faqp00100045_001&lang=en&prod=pj773eus

Has anyone had problems with pixelation when printing? Im thinking it might have something to do with my original document dimensions in Procreate and the zoom/image fit to paper correlation.. Any tips?
Hey Emily, if you email info@killerinktattoo.co.uk about this, one of the team will be able to look into it for you and suggest some tips and settings to use.
Hola y muchos saludos desde Madrid. Tengo una pregunta como podemos limpiar el rodillo de la impresora si no tenemos el cleaning sheet?

Hey brother i am tying to find a printer i can do this with i bought a cheap hp and tried doing it with no luck
Can multiple people be connected to the “763 mfi” at the same time?
Hey Andrew! It can be paired and recognised by multiple devices for a quick connection, however you cannot connect and print from multiple devices at the same time.
So, question ? am I able to purchase this directly from Brother NZ ?
"www.brother.co.nz/mobile-printers/pocket-jet/pj-763mfi" question is though, will it work, I purchased one a few years back, but it didn't work all, no matter what I did, I was told that it had something to do with the firmware/driver ? is this right ? or did they sort the problem with it not working from the manufacturer
Hi, all you need to do is check that the firmware is up to date and install print settings tool, which allows you to switch on stencil mode and change speed/density, etc.
If you purchase a printer from us, we already update the firmware and switch stencil mode on. If ordered from Brother, it will arrive as factory standard.
Ive just bought pj 763mfi (not from killer ink) how to i get it set up for stencil mode

Any idea why the rollers stick to the stencil sheets
Hi, the rollers are rubber, so they shouldn't really be sticking. You're best checking the print speed and density settings first, as heat build-up can cause it to 'stick'.
I have a pj 773 printer and it stops in middle of printing then shuts off. Do you have any suggestions on how to make it print until the stencil is finished.
Hey Kendra, does the "Data" light stop as well? If so, it might be an issue with the page set-up while printing. If not, please email your issue to info@killerinktattoo.co.uk and they will be able to advise you further.
The stencil will start to print, after a inch to two inches into the print the printer will power off. Power light cuts off, Data light cuts off, and Wifi light cuts off.

Hey Nico, skip the video to 32:44 for advice on how to stop the printer creasing your paper. If you are still having issues it may be down to not guiding the paper through properly, the stencil mode may not be on or it may need an alteration in the design or printer settings.

Hi, using Adobe Photoshop will be fine. You can also update the firmware of your printer (available through the Brother website) and install the Printer Settings Tool (also from the Brother site), which will allow you to check if 'stencil mode' is on and change the print speed and density.
If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team via email at info@killerinktattoo.co.uk
Mine keesp jamming the paper every damn time I cant do a proper stencil with it I just don't know what im doing wrong
Hi Alexandra, it will either be to do with alignment troubleshooting or the need to change print density. If the paper is not put in straight, the print density is too high or the reference is too saturated, it can cause jamming. You can check out the section about paper creasing at 32:44.

Hi, if you lift up the lid of the printer, that should give you a bit of space to be able to move the paper around.
Where do i get the ac adaptor for the 763?
Hi Chris, we have this adapter available to order here: www.killerinktattoo.co.uk/brother-pocketjet-power-cord-ac-adapter-uk
@@KillerInkTattooEU Brilliant thanks,i have ordered it now.
Also how do i get the stencil mode to work on the 763mfi or is it done automatically with ios updates?
@@chrissilk4093 Hey. Plug it in to a computer and tick stencil mode on Brother's Printer Setting Tool. If you are having any issues, feel free to get in touch.
@@KillerInkTattooEU Thanks however after enabling Stencil mode,it barely leaves an image even with everything set to max density and full opacity through procreate.
Mine is an absolute pain in the arse to use, I'm here to see what I'm doing wrong, cos it has to be human error cos Brother make great printers.
It is a pain to use your better off using one of them thermal heat ones with a light you switch on way better. This is good for conventions
@@hifi8844 Yeah man noted, think you're right there. ;)
It was the Brother adapter that was too hot at 4A, that's usually for thicker fax paper, switched it to 2A and works a treat.
Bit late with this ha ha.
What does he think about ? BROTHER PJ-883,???
Can anyone tell me the price in US $ , please ...
Hi Hope, you can email info@killerinktattoo.co.uk for assistance with this.
Why does my printer turn off half-way through
Hi, can you please email info@killerinktattoo.co.uk with your issue and one of the team will look into it.
Same problem help please!!!
I'm confused he says it need to be black but I thought this put all the lighter shading in the stencil.
Hi Andy, Paul means that it should be monochrome.
@@KillerInkTattooEU I've just purchased the standard version (without blue tooth wirless) I've played around with the settings and don't seem to be getting much of a gradient it just seems to want to pick up the pure black values and hardly any lighter tones at all regardless of density.
You may need to darken the reference first. If you're still having issue, feel free to email us at info@killerinktattoo.co.uk and one of the team will be able to assist you further with this.
@@KillerInkTattooEU thanks guys
I have a poket jet 3 (brother ) can someone tell me if i can find drivers for macOs or ipadOs ?
Hey, we would advise just checking directly on the Brother website and looking through the list of drivers on there 😊
@@KillerInkTattooEU yeah it’s not available
Is Paul Talbot "The legendary hitchhiker"? I would like to think so!
"The legendary hitchhiker says that he knows where it's at
Now he'd like to go to Spain or somewhere like that
With his two-tone Bible and his funny cigarettes,
His suntan lotion and his castanets
He was waiting for the end of the world...."
Also he was waiting for his thermal printer to cool down!
Have just bought a pj 763. Its chewing up the paper nearly every fucking time. Close to throwing it out the window.!!
Hi Aaron, you can check out the section from 32:44 about this. The paper needs to be lined up, as well as making sure that the reference and print settings are right. Your printer may be catching the paper because the reference is either too dark or paper not aligned.
paper is entangled
Hi, please can you send a video of the issue to info@killerinktattoo.co.uk or via Facebook or Instagram DM and one of the team will look into this for you.
I have purchased PJ-723 printer recently and this model does not support Android phones? I have downloaded the app but doesn't work 🥺
Hi, the PJ-723 simply connects to your computer via USB, so there's no wireless/app printing.
@@KillerInkTattooEU Yes it does connect with the computers but not the phones.
Why is everything so expensive ffs…
PJ-723 expensive price poor quality. I've repeatedly set it... the prints are too light and can't print darkes or fine lines and don't produce sharp prints as advertised. regret buying it...
Hi, if you bought your printer from us, please contact us on info@killerinktattoo.co.uk and one of the team will be able to assist you with this. Otherwise you can contact Brother directly for troubleshooting.
@@KillerInkTattooEU ok... thanks..
This guy should quit tattooing and go into tech support. 😸
These things are a waste of money.
