    I don’t know what you mean when you say interest on shares. As money on shares, there is no interest on your money unless you lend your shares out. Am i missing something

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  2 місяці тому

      I mean it has appreciation on shares, interest is therefore the growth on the value of the shares you hold, hope that makes sense?

    • @JasonEyermann
      @JasonEyermann 2 місяці тому

      @@Dr.JubairsFinance ok thanks for clarifying. I only started buying last month so I thought I missed something. You actually said compound interest. Which if it’s just appreciation then there is no compounding(as far as I can see). Unless you factor in dividends which I guess if you choose acc then it’s sort of compounding. Cool anyway I just subscribed to your channel

    If you invest in DIST and want to withdraw money later on, how do you do that? Its just online app, not a bank , so how to get money out if for some reason, you want to withdraw or move money or switch to different provider?

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  7 днів тому +1

      You can withdraw free funds from your account to the bank you used to deposit the funds in the first place, you can also transfer funds or shares to other providers too

    Hello Dr, I am in the UK. I watched a video you made a year ago, the APP you recommended is Invest Engine. May I ask, which is better to Invest in S&P500, trading212s or Invest Engine? And if I want to invest £10,000, which way is better, one-off purchase or a monthly buy? Thank you.

      Completely up to you, InvestEngine is best if you want just ETFs, Trading is best overall, if you want to buy individual stocks too. Just my opinion, not financial advice.

    Are you buying VUSA as well? Recently I made my first investment by buying 30 shares but I think I'm regretting it. Since I'm going in the long run (at least 15 years) maybe it would have been better to go with the accumulative version. At first I liked the idea of receiving directly the dividends in my portfolio. In my country (Greece) ucits aren't taxable and I think we have a minimal fee of 5% regarding the dividends which I don't mind, it's just the total amount in the long run won't reflect my real gains If don't manually reinvest them back to the etf. Is there a way to switch to VUAA on Trading 212 without having to sell the stocks and rebuy?

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  2 місяці тому

      Unfortunately you can't just switch over, but if you're investing for the long term, I can almost assure you that you will not worry about 30 shares, as you'll have so many more of the one you want in the future.

    So when I invest in the Sp500 once would I have to pay to get more shares every time if I wanted to add more ? For example if I had £20 one month and decided I wanted to add £50 the next month would it all add up together or would it be separate

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  27 днів тому +1

      So the more shares you buy, the more shares you'll have, they do add up, in terms of number of shares owned.

    Another great video, that was very helpful and informative. Thank you.
    The likes of VWRL seems very high at the moment, would it be best to wait for a dip before buying?

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  2 місяці тому +2

      If you follow my TikTok, I show how it's so foolish to try and time the market. Who's to say that the VWRL will ever drop enough for you to get back into it, by then you could have missed out on a lot of gain.

    Hi Dr. Just a quick question: if you want to take out your profit example from Tesla, do you sell the whole stock and rebuy minus the profit amount? Cause T212 doesn’t have a separate pot for profit. Any suggestions? Ty

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  2 місяці тому

      I don't recommend trying to do this. First of all, your question implies that you're not sure about it, which makes me nervous. Let's say you brought 100 shares for £100 and the current price increased to £150, if you sell £50 worth, then you will have £100 left but fewer shares. There no guarantee that the share price won't decrease again, so it's pretty risky to do this. You can't always guarantee "profits", the stock market is pretty volatile.

    • @acmramon
      @acmramon 2 місяці тому

      @@Dr.JubairsFinance ok thanks. Just in one of your previous videos you said you prefer to take profit not to hold for long term and i wonder how you do it. And those stocks won’t go up all the time i think, at some point they will go down or stop. Or maybe the market will crash one day😕

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance

      @@acmramon When I said take profit, what I meant was: to sell all my shares and realise a profit. I think there is confusion on social media with all of these "trading gurus". Sorry to add to the confusion! Maybe I shouldn't have used this term.

    • @Dr.JubairsFinance
      @Dr.JubairsFinance  Місяць тому +1

      Unfortunately you can't just change, you'll have to sell and rebuy if you really want to change. However, it's probably not a huge deal, you can always reinvest the dividends, or next time you buy, you can get the ACC version

I missed the low by 13 mins and bought the 3x SPX ETF which has given me a fantastic return. 1:30 The S&P 500 is not a UK based ETF, it is a USA based ETF 😂. This is concerning cause if you don't even know that, do you even have a clue what the underlying assest in the S&P 500 are?
