So I was watching Sedona yesterday (no haven't seen all the episodes yet), and there were always comments about your roads being too steep. This morning I was riding my bike to my campus, and it's on a hill so you have to drive up this insanely steep road. Don't know why but I was thinking "James probably built this" ...
flabs, plz stick some wide span bridge supports on the exposed corners under the dirtroit bridge expressway, it will give the illusion you did it everywhere :)
It makes so much more sense to put a road at the at the end though. It definitely looks much worse with the little nub, especially in a game without cul-de-sacs. They look like you’re just cramming in as much road as you can, and since the road is already there those nubs don’t actually add any zoning. Also, in a practical sense it’s much better to be able to turn at the end of the road rather then have to turn around.
With the new highway the main town kinda reminds me of the Bronx. While the highway itself reminds of the approaches to the Pulaski Skyway between Newark and Jersey City. Also 24:06 I would make a shuttle bus from that neighborhood to the main downtown train station.
9:50 I did mean that you could do all the road like this, except the bridge of course. Not only this part but all the road until the bridge. It would be much more convenient, I suppose.
You know, you could have used the handy slope tool for roads for all the Harbor bridge ramps and saved yourself a LOT of hassle. Was fun to watch you do it the hard way though!
Two possibilities one is the sloped nodes in the Move It mod, or Elektrix's slope tool which does a better job with a curved incline (he is going to merge it into Move It so we don't need both mods, but for now...)
Maybe you could download some custom support beams that you could put on the buildings and make it look like support beams were built into the businesses to help support the new overhead highway.
When I visited Melbourne I couldn't understand why they would want to drive at 80km/h. Living on the Gold Coast I'm use to 110. It just feels solo slow
Given that the main city is supposed to be a little terrible wouldn't it be fitting to send a disaster into it? It's always interesting seeing people rebuilding after a disaster, particularly ones like earthquakes that change the environment.
You know you said "Hello guys! Flabaliki here today, and welcome back to some more Cities *Skylands* in the intro, right? And btw, take a look at the how negative his cashflow is in the start of the video, -11,111€ LOL

Haha, lol
Title: *No More Bridge!*
Bridge: *Is actually still there*
They had us in the first half, not gonna lie
Glad to hear I wasn't the only one expecting the bridge to be gone.
I was really hoping for it to be gone.
Darn I loved the “let’s bridge” series, lol
When your city has too many elevated roads. Cities skylanes
I hate myself
*commits death*
Yeah!
ur right hating yourself hahah
Crematorium next to the posh mall. Part of Black Friday preparations.
Don't forget to finish the pedestrian pathway on the other side of the bridge.

James: Let's build residential before we do anything else
(Proceeds to build commercial near posh mall)
Remenber Sedona? Ah, the good old days.
it's been best series of cities skylines so far!
why are you using biofuel busses? Wasn't this city supposed to be gross and polluted?
Yes #stopbiofuelbuses
Yeah... I dunno. That’s a good point, I think it’s a reflex from the last city haha
It was in fancy pants town though.
@@JoshuaHere FANCY pants lol im dying
I enjoyed your last few bridge episodes! Glad to be moving on now 😂

"it seems weird to have a big road that ends in a T" welcome to america
NO MORE BRIDGE well maybe just a little bit...
idk what it is, but these videos always make me happy
9:50 I did mean that you could do all the road like this, except the bridge of course. Not only this part but all the road until the bridge. It would be much more convenient, I suppose.
Definitely build the launch site on the water somewhere
4 sure!
Can someone please tell me how to turn off merging in one click like semaj does in 7:40 very frustrating to do it manually 🤷🏼♀️
If I remember, it was something like Shift+Click. He explained it once, when he first discovered it in chat.
Shift+S I think
I’ll try both and see what works thank you !!
I love that it looks like you listened to my last comment, but you need highway entrences in the middle part not only exits.
You should switch the toll booths to the bridge and off the old road. That should offset the maintenance cost. Make it pay for itself

Nice work. This is a good series. I think it would be cool if there were more casinos...maybe next to the one that is already there?
What do you think to put on that hill near Posh Mall some kind of path and on the top view point. I think it will be nice view to the city.
You could always have the bus go past the town by the bridge and to the little town by the ore (or oil?) plant
If you reduce the budget for trains, it will generate fewer freight trains. It won't fix the jams but it does help a little bit.
The city of Austin has a bridge downtown that forces a weird merge like that actually
I got that reference... Make adjustments and o get it energized! haha
The dodge expressway here in Omaha is identical to that where you stay in the outside lanes go through and the exit lanes are between them
How do you do that with Traffic Manager that they don't change the line(shortcut)
Shift+S I think?
@@Flabaliki Maybe Alt+F4 too? xD
This episode is all over the place for no reason
Flabaliki: These roads (Sydney highway) are thin
Me: Damn obscurity
Love your highway system
Turn the elevated road to an actual highway
Just press ctrl+H to align heights, it's mich easier :)
5:11 you should make that bridge 8 lines wide. (I think you have the 8 lines road mod)
Don’t have any 8 lane roads in my game
Great City I love it very Much
BRING THE BRIDGES BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now it isn't in demand really but maybe you can put a couple of offices behind the mall?
Where you put the crematorium
This comment was written mid-video

I don't know the exact situation but it's most likely to prevent (severe) accidents and noise complaints.
@@JoshuaHere true. Most of the highways I were on did run right through the city
#morebridge
Build chirpX down by harbour bridge as a destination for the bus line
I'd like to see the launch site.
do a tourist district and make it eco friendly
Blue Lightning no eco friendly we need a dirty city
LAUNCH SITE NEXT please please please :D
Doesn’t look like Sydney. Looks kinda like Chicago fell on top of Vancouver.
I like this guy because........most of the gamers or youtubers bad words.......but this guy din't
Do tiny town in the middle of the mountains
I think you might need to talk to someone about your bridge obsession.....
If this was a real city my dad would get confused and pi**ed off at all the entrances and exits😂
Hey.. build a small old town in windy road that goes to the nice city through the hills.
He should make a lake

Next episode title maybe port expansion
Can you show us the city at night.
Play sims2 castaway :3
Did a whole let’s play of it on my other channel
You should play either planet coaster or rct3 again
Maxwell Moore Parkitect is pretty good, basically rct3
I’m playing parkitect
@@Flabaliki DW bro, I got your back 😎🤝

LOL
First ❤️😍
Autobahn
you should make th water level go up a little bit "like a flood" so the city suffers the nature's karma.
Pls turn on day/night cycle.
Do a new city pls im bored of this one lol
