You should add one of the small toll booths to the road out to the launch site to look like a security checkpoint. I'm not too well versed with launch sites, but I assume that's a thing that they would have to keep out the tourists trying to get as close to the launches as possible.
I agree you should add a toll booth to the launch site. Also should add the fbi police station and medical laboratories building out by the site. Make it like area 51
You should do an express bus route instead of a train line... and I would actually put in almost a small town on the other side of the tracks so people can be closer to work at the offices by the rocket launch place.
Near the launch site where you have that 90° bend and change, put a roundabout and then add residential on the other side, make it like a closed in community that lives out there while they work
make IT industries around broadcast building/launch site, make it looks like silicon valley or tech firm HQ area with a lot of office that operate around the launch site
About the rocket site: Your industry areas should just deliver products to it over time, like it was a regular commercial building (so yes you do wait until the site has enough materials). After that, the second ‘phase’ is also just waiting (or what the game describes as launch preparations). Just make sure you come back to the site and click the “Launch Rocket” button once it becomes available, since I believe that it doesn’t launch on its own.
I'm digging the mountain base! It would be neat for the launch facility to have its own power generation, and it would also help get rid of all of those power lines. Also, the runway isn't really in the best spot, and it would be a lot more realistic if it was wayyyy longer. Overall the location looks good though!
I liked the idea of having the launch pad on the Cape like Cape Canaveral. Not to mention on the Cape God game had to build the other buildings further away from the launch site, cause they are WAY too close to it now
instead of connecting the power line to an existing power source so far away, why don't you just put a couple of wind turbine thingos to generate power for that area?
🙃PLEASE READ😋 When you launch a Ricket people will come to see it start so you need a good public transport connection and also it will receive resources via trucks, trains etc. so after all you need good conections ;)
You could put the TV station and all the brutalist government looking sciencey buildings like the robot factory and stuff out there to go with the media broadcast centre
TIP : Launch sites DONT have office BUILDINGS right NEXT to it DUE TO SOUND DAMAGE or BLASTWAVES when launching and launch sites DONT have any houses nor anything around it DO a FIRESTATION near it incase of any kind of a FAILED LIFT OFF/ FIRE in the launch sites DO FENCES around the site and DO a BROADCAST TOWER for the CONTROL ROOM EDIT: In real life those other buildings you placed near the lauch site will get Destroyed due to forces lol
That isnt a space shuttle launch site. SpaceX launches their rockets and will sometimes land the first stage back on the pad if they can. The runway is unnecessary. Edit: Also, the Space Shuttle was retired in 2011.
The new highway entrance and interchange look great but it seems like a deathtrap. I don't know what the current speed limit is, but for realism I would reduce it to 80km/h around the intersection. To the Chirpy Launch Site a train service seems a bit overzealous and I think a express shuttle bus service fits the area more. Preferably a custom bus would look cool, like the _D3S Volvo 7900 Electric_ (futuristic) , _HINO S'elega HD - Generic_ (looks like a reliable long range bus) , _Olli_ (my personal favourite and probably suitable for the capacity it will need, might look silly as long range) or _[BIO BUS] 2014 Van Hool A300K Hybrid_ and _[BIO BUS] 2019 Gillig BRT Hybrid 29' Bus_ (Both feel like a midway between the previous options). But the normal Biofuel bus will do aswell.
The ChirpX site needs to gather industrial goods and raw materials before you can do a launch. It shouldn't take too long with the connections you built.
Does that Outside Connections mod break easily? I've been wanting to get it but I just know it'll wreck my savegame if I do. Anyone had any trouble with it themselves?
How the hell did they get the supplies for the space center over there. The beach was such a better place to put it, I mean look at cape Canaveral. Flat land, but way more important, it’s accessible. Anyone who works there, which is probably a couple hundred, has that long drive through he mountains every day. Also, that’s just about the worst place to put the media broadcast building. There’s a reason that people aren’t let within a half mile of a launch, but that building would still get washed in the afterburners.
Your powerlines go over the mountin on top of which is an historic site and now there are just random powerlines going straight theought the site so please remove them

skyboy19ID That’d be cool
the rocket site should be self sufficient and have wind turbines or a solar array.
maybe a big fence surrounding the area too.
Connect the road to the launch site on the other side of the airport, so you don't need a bridge

You should've put solar panels down next to the launch site for its power, as it fits the theme and would look cool.

Could you put suburbs around the launch pad facility, with fences marking the facility's perimeter.
So are you going to build a small village and or industrial area over by your new space stations or military base would be a good idea

I think he should use solar panels as they would look cool next to the rocket silo and fit the high tech theme
Alexandria Watson more realistic?
🙃PLEASE READ😋

Space elevator by the launch site?
Definitely remove the bridge at the ChirpX launch thing. Just sink it under the rail that is going to the cargo airport. and bridge the rail
You could put the TV station and all the brutalist government looking sciencey buildings like the robot factory and stuff out there to go with the media broadcast centre
needs its own power and water stations, manually put down some offices, the bunkers and disaster building as well. that'd be perfect.
I’ve never seen a person have so much ocd in a game but I love it
There's the Deep Space Satellite in the Disasters tab which should fit perfectly for a launch site.
You should put a toll booth at the entrance of the launch site. 👍
Easy solution for 4:22 .... are you ready?
Roundabout.
You know I think in real life a rocket launch right there would destroy the other buildings lol.
I AGREE !The BLASTWAVE and the SOUNDWAVE DAMAGE will destory those buildings
I'd put a road running along most of the long railroad as it would look like a realistic old road between the two sides of the map
27:29 It would be more realistic to run the small road through the small valley at the bottom of the screen
You should take out the tunnel going to the mountain and just build a mountain pass around the side which is very doable.
Steven way launch site!!!!
TIP : Launch sites DONT have office BUILDINGS right NEXT to it DUE TO SOUND DAMAGE or BLASTWAVES when launching and launch sites DONT have any houses nor anything around it DO a FIRESTATION near it incase of any kind of a FAILED LIFT OFF/ FIRE in the launch sites DO FENCES around the site and DO a BROADCAST TOWER for the CONTROL ROOM

Amazing ❤
Anyone else notice that there is a GIANT TUNNEL between a CAR FACTORY and ____X SPACE AGENCY?
I feel like railway lines should count as a power connection. It would make life easier
A dam filling up the area where the rail and road go towards the launch site, would have to move both the road and rail, but it would look cool
you should pick a neighborhood in the crappy city and gentrify the area
You should've taken the road to the launch site through the canyon instead of making a 1 mile long tunnel... :P
This Just in!
Man Launches Rocket backwards
you should do some planet coster!
That isnt a space shuttle launch site. SpaceX launches their rockets and will sometimes land the first stage back on the pad if they can. The runway is unnecessary.
Edit: Also, the Space Shuttle was retired in 2011.
can you do a bus route to the rocket site
Get another national road, and somewhere in the mountains, build a concert area
On that intersection you should make it so that the outbound highway doesn't have to stop and the other traffic gives way
Have you thought about playing Satisfactory? I think it would suit you!
16:45 the FAA would not approve that! The FAA might though (Flabaliki Aviation Authority)

Maybe build a secret goverment town somewhere in the mountains?
I thought you where going to build the launch site at the coast line like a man made area
you should put the road that goes on and along the mountn and have that road be dert to make it more deadly insted of a tunnel
Name it FlabalikiX x)
The ChirpX site needs to gather industrial goods and raw materials before you can do a launch. It shouldn't take too long with the connections you built.
Build a green cities town and tesla gigafactory
Does that Outside Connections mod break easily? I've been wanting to get it but I just know it'll wreck my savegame if I do. Anyone had any trouble with it themselves?
What do you think of the Sydney Bridge Roads? are they useful or are they a pain to use?
Omg hi I love ur vids I’m early!!!!!❤️
Add another media center in the downtown
Does IPT2 work or not? I hear people saying it makes the all of the Public transport functionless but ye dunno
You should have the road follow the valley around the mountain instead of having the large tunnel.
Build a town!
Where in the workshop did you find those highway roads?
atur chomicz thanks
Brent Nowland oh okay thanks
why would you tunnel the road when there is a path around the mountain for it? =/
I'd get the electric roads mod so you don't need to mess around with pylons
8:01-8:06 lmfao
