Woim was Butch's sidekick, not Porky's and of course Spanky knew that, he just said Porky instead of Butch by mistake I'm sure.

rvpstudios studios It was "Little Rascals" originally, then when Hal Roach sold it to MGM, then they became "Our Gang."

It was Our Gang for part of its original run and The Little Rascals when it came to television in 1955. Also, wasn't The Woim Butch's sidekick?

    • @Itbmurr1

It was called Our Gang until Hal Roach sold the franchise to MGM. At that point they became The MGM Little Rascals.

It was how roaches rascals until roach sold the rights to the production. Then when he started the films back up he had to rename it our gang for copyright reasons.

Agree. The host did not know how to show the video to camera he just looked at it. The Little Rascals from the 1930's are here on You Tube too. I watch some and they are really funny and a nice snap shot of life in the 1930's. Progressive too with "buckwheat" depicted is a normal American, part of the gang and attending a school that is not segregated, unlike some films with adult from that era.
