You can apply what this guy said to everyday life. “You can’t have a good day, every single day” and consistency is the worst word to live by. You can’t control everything. My wife for example has MS and thinking she’ll have a good day, everyday isn’t realistic. Same with work and your job. Sometimes if you do everything right there’s things you can’t control. Trying to live by these rules and Mindset is easier said then done.
Love this series as much as any other foreplay content since the beginning. Can help anyone who plays the game and has enough sense to want to learn and adapt
@@chrisjuuuuhthat reminds me of the time time some guy posted on one of the vids that he just bought a brand new set of Mizunos bcuz they're sponsored by Taylormade lol
Absolutely love this. Only comment is that the lay up to your number wisdom has been disproven as a good general rule. For sure if the layout or green complex is such that a longer shot brings a lot more trouble into play, then no hero shots. But for pros and amateurs, your distribution of proximity to the hole from 50 yards is way way tighter than from 130. On an easy, wide open course you want to get as close as you can every single time. The trick from there is to take that knowledge to a normal course where you have to weigh things like, say, increased chance of being in jail with a hybrid versus a 9i against the solidly lower expected score sitting 50y out instead of 130y out.
This was incredible. Brett put into words everything i TRY to do on the course. Theres glimmers here and there but never have i had every thought put into words the way he did. Im not an aggressive go for it type of player anyway so i usually end up screwing the shot up in other ways. This perfectly explained to me why I'm doing that in a way that resonated like nothing else I've ever seen on any golf channel. Thank you sir! Can't wait to start bringing this handicap back down to where it belongs.
Doc is top shelf with his insights. Still amazed at how little attention golfers pay to the mental side of golf, and they wonder why they do not improve. Mental Game Live is so good and it is free! Free Coaching from one of the worlds best performance Coaches. Seen all 23 shows.
one of the best Barstool videos! Great job Frankie putting yourself out there and playing good golf. Salute to Dr. McCabe. I feel like I got better today!
Using the looking at a dimple on my putts has made a huge difference - no more thinking about "this putt is for birdie (or whatever)" - I'm a believer in Bhrett McCabe.
Three days at Bandon Dunes the first two days I had 38-40 putts. Then Bandon Trails three over on the first hole. Shot 80...simply because I slowed down and talked myself thru each shot caddy help. One hole from the middle it was 405 slightly down hill caddy want me to play the mens tees 380 I went driver 9wood short behind bunker pitch on one putt par.
Talking like a playa (Shout out golf sidekick) -- play from the green back. No reason to blow your load with a hybrid/wood when you can lay up to have a comfortable shot in.
My Golf game 2 years ago when I stopped putting so much pressure on my game and letting bad shots and bad holes go and trying to focus on the next shot
Play with players that are better than you, and play more competitive golf. Ever shot isn't going to be perfect no matter how good you get. Hit it, go find it.
How could they see the ball move more than 100 yards at night? May just be best to use glow in the dark balls for yourself and us viewers. Just an idea
The Chevy ad is what is keeping barstool financially viable and Dave Portnoy happy, if Dave his happy, then we get more Writer Cup style content in the future, it’s worth it
@@brandoncarpenter9681 Dave Portnoy, PFT even Frank the tank... Just a boring watch with Frankie, this series won't last like this much longer, just being honest.

That Chevy commercial during the video was insane
Brett McCabe is also showing everyone how beneficial a therapist in general can be.

Yea I hate trent

ironically, they're making me less likely to ever buy a chevy.

That little “hell yeah” when Bhrett is showing frankie the glove trick gets me every time 😂
Frankie’s gonna be a solid 185 after Italy
Best ad Ive ever seen in a UA-cam video hands down! And I watch a lot of UA-cam.
I love that you are taking the gift of golf for a living to its full potential! Solid work and processing =)
These videos are so good man, Brett McCabe is a genius
Love listening to Brett, such phenomenal insight.

So pumped Fixing Frankie is back - best golf youtube series going around!!!!
The analogy of the family restaurant in the morning for understanding process is brilliant !!🔥

Chevy commercial in the middle of a video is reprehensible
Great work Frankie. Best golf video on the internets.
Really great stuff! Not to steal any thunder.. but also read "Golf is not a Game of Perfect" by Bob Rotella. Changed my game forever.

Brett is so impressive but so are you, Frankie. Love this.
Awesome process and execution
Couldn’t dislike the Chev ad break more. Vibes broke
The zoysia fairways and back patio at Greystone Legacy 🔥🔥
Great video's and helping show the process.
Riggs needs to watch this series a thousand times over and learn a thing or 2. And also get lessons
Highly recommend reading Zen golf for any one that enjoyed this video
This is golden.
Great episode, Frankie!
I want to know how Frankie changed his chipping. That would be the video we all need.

The ad game is stepping up
Sick as hell
Anyone else google why Doc wears a black ring on a right hand finger?.... LOL
Probably and Oura ring
As an Italian, I particularly appreciated the "pineapple on pizza" metaphor 😂😂
Damn those calves dr Brett!
Frankie is carrying Fore Play right now
I have that same crease on my Travis Mathew hat….
At exactly 7:09 - 7:11 Frankie’s face looks like a mashup of JT and Zach Johnson
golf therapy is oddly similar to normal therapy...golf is so much like life its crazy

Barstool Golfs with Kirk Minihane? Did you guys scratch the video?
"we're out here because you will fuck up if I leave"
That Chevy commercial in a UA-cam video😣
Dr Bhrett needs to do some work with Trent. I bet that knocks a few strokes off his handicap.
Trent is trash no matter what, Trent needs to get off the golf
I can't downvote this enough @@Straightahead101
The most epic chevy ad to date
Shoutout Squire Creek
My Golf game 2 years ago when I stopped putting so much pressure on my game and letting bad shots and bad holes go and trying to focus on the next shot

Learns the glove close = process focus... first tee shot; glove is closed and Frankie is talking cut or draw. lol
Scope out Dr. Marc Lochbaum. He’s the GOAT.
I refuse to buy Chevy for our companies, just because . 😂
Never putt dirty balls! 😂
lol did we just sneak a Chevy EV commercial flawlessly into this bad boy?
"flawless"
Considering every 3 comments is about it, no
I can’t wait to not buy a Chevy after watching this video!
People just think they are better, tougher, smarter than they actually are...not just golf..everything
I want Bhrett to be my dad.
I bet this guy is perfect for lifting. You'd just believe him and bench 280.
KVV moonlighting as a pga tour mental coach?
That Chevy ad needs to be playing on TV by end of week
Introduce him to Jerry

the VERY FIRST BIT OF advice by the quack to not commit to drawing it over the bunker was an L , lets be honest.
Could we please.. please. Just go back to these guys actually playing golf?! Haven’t seen actual fore play golf in forever

Respectfully, y'all need to remove the ambient medieval music in these vids
Wow could that forced Chevrolet Ad be any more cringeworthy, and over an EV truck to boot. Lame on top of cringe.
