Can Frankie Break Par From The Forward Tees

- We've debated this for a while on the podcast and now Frankie is going to put it to the test. Will playing from the forward tees drastically improve his score? We are at his home course Colonial Springs on Long Island, playing from 1,200 yards shorter than he normally does. What do we think he shoots?

do a Riggs Breaking 100 series from the front tee's
On a mini golf course. Riggs is pathetic and a liar
Riggs would quit Fore Play for some made up reason before he ever does a challenge like this. Dude is gonna die still lying about his handicap.
Legit one of the worst golfers on the platform. But even worse he’s a golfer who lies about his scoring. He’s been exposed for who he is though, what comes around goes around.
Make Riggs quit Barstool!
Didn’t Riggs do a video of a full 18 within the last year? I thought he shot in the 80’s?
Frankie is hitting the ball very well but if I needed someone to MISS a 3 footer to save my life I'm calling him.
🔥
Your game has improved so much over the last few years. Great work.
Well, Barstool pays him to do nothing except play golf everyday with the best custom fitted golf equipment. He should be a low single digit by now.
@@tropx8995 ^^^ This, he gets to play with PROs and has access to PRO coaches, he has endless amount of exceptional help/knowledge always around him.
There is no reason to not be getting better, which he. He says he's a 5, I'd believe it but a 5-7.
Riggs gets hate even on a non-Riggs video. So funny!
Haha I think he does because his videos show him closer to a 12 to 15 handicap than a 6 handicap for some reason that pisses a lot of people off in here lol
That's what anyone deserves when they make a bullshit claim about their golf handicap.
Riggs haters are silly
@@CorekBleedingHollow why do you even care LMAO. So cringe to obsess about other peoples golf game.
Silence on 17 was deafening
Riggs breaking 80 from the Reds next please!
Finishes in 2029?
He needs to start by breaking 90 first.
Maybe Riggs in breaking 109
I don't think Riggs will ever do it because he can't take a hit to his pride
breaking 80 on the front 9
Quality video 👏 👏
From the camera angles, the hole, par, yardage intro’s, the round score, the small Taylormade logo; just great quality. Love seeing someone enjoy a round, verbalizing their intent, emotions, and joy when they flush it. “That’s what we’ve been waiting for!”
Would love this style of video from each fore play member - different player every week or so. 🤙🏼
Great job. Edit was awesome; perfect length, perfect pace, nailed it 👌🏼
Riggs would’ve shot 59 if he was by himself on the course.
He already got exposed by a true 8 handicapper. There’s no place for liars in golf, if you’re gonna do it for the world to see you’ll eventually look like a clown.
Is this Riggs' burner account???
@@akoni3868 ya missed it man.
@@CChpalinLotyou should consider caring way way way way less than you do
@@bvereschagin09 huh? How’s Riggs taste from down there?
definitely a lesson here for all golfers about playing tees that fit their handicap. Bryson has talked about how his coach made him play from the forward tees to get comfortable making lots of birdies and eagles. It probably would help most golfers think their way around the course a lot better. Someone like Trent should try this, I think his course management would improve immensely.
I agree with Trent. However, he can't do it until he breaks 90. Just can't have it be done from front tees at this point
he plays from the whites in all of the breaking 90/100 videos.
I just recently started playing the "White/Gold"s at my local course. Shortened some of the longer holes up. It was the best decision I've made as a new golfer. So much more fun and confidence boosting.
@@marvinbluedorn3321 100%, people forget golf is supposed to be enjoyable, it's something we do for pleasure. Ego obviously plays a role but the reality is most amateur golfers should be playing off closer tees based on their driving distance. You can always move back as you get better or if it becomes too easy.
It’s all about confidence. Instead of thinking this is for birdie/ eagle, treat them as just another putt and put a good roll on it!! Putts that don’t make it to the hole miss every time!! Distance is the easiest part of the game, scoring is the toughest! Keep at it Frankie
YES 1000% you can Break Par from 5300 yards! I WAS one of your harshest critics BUT your overall game IMO has improved significantly over the last year. Your chipping/wedge game is solid. Can you make a few putts? That's the question
Keep the series going. Do 1 or 2 more chances from the forward tees and then graduate to the senior tees, and so on
Just like we see in Trent's videos... no matter what scoring barrier you're trying to break it's almost always going to be the short game that holds you back
Definitely do this challenge again. Might be interesting to try a safe vs. aggressive approach
What is up with the greens? Those look awful, ball rolled brutal too
I’m gonna guess course just opened up so they’re coming back in from dormant season. But I don’t 100% know
@@Seelarkeliterally every course every season
Frankie has been deserving of his own videos. Glad to finally see it.
The difference between this Frankie and the Frankie I first saw playing with Kisner where Frankie offers the classic first tee comment: "I'd give a thousand dollars not to have to hit this tee shot right now." is insane. He then proceeded, in that video, to card a 9 on the first hole. Amazing to see this level of shot making and consistency.
You did a great job at not getting too frustrated with missing birdie putts. I've seen too many people let those misses be the only thing they focus on and it ends up wrecking their round. Very enjoyable video and I hope you try again soon.
The stark difference in attitude can performance between 12 and 13 was one of the most obvious examples I’ve ever seen that mentality and confidence are the most important thing
Beautiful course. Definitely should be an eye opener to where you're losing strokes. Also interesting to see you under-read the majority of the putts you missed.
Good stuff Frankie! Playing different tees is something that all golfers should be doing.. definitely if you play the same course over and over... as you found out it changes the way your play... cheers!
Dude! That was the best you tube golf vid I've seen in many moons! Relatable, engaging, fun. Well done, oooh, oooh, Great camera angles- the putt shots were perfect. (some of those putts hurt dude.)
Is playing from the forward tees how Riggs landed on his (totally not made up) handicap?
playing from forward tees is bad for handicap cuz theyre rated so much worse. someone did an analysis using arccos
Love this! Should be a series called "Front Tee's & Frankie"
Great video fellas. One man show on the cams and it looks awesome. Edit moves along really well, music is always mixed a little louder than the dialogue, but overall sounds great and the tracks slap. Keep it up boys👏
Love the series Frankie. Paired with breaking 90 & Trent (which my golf game is similar to), excited to see you move back tees as the series progresses.
18 holes in a 30 min. video, is great. Loved it! Keep up the good work.
This was very enjoyable!
Another one soon please 🙏🏾
This has got some great potential for a series. Break par and graduate to the next tees back. Could even do lessons in between with pros working on specific areas of your game like putting/ chipping.
Frankie getting good, its amazing how far hes come over the past 3 years.
Awesome video Mr. Jones. The edits were great, all relevant information is there and the drone shots are always so great. Perfect little video for a quick solo round.
Frankie, so close! Few little mistakes - your game is looks great lately. Left a lot out there..
Run it back. Love this content. Most improved you tube golfer with in the last couple years for sure
This needs to be a series! Pick a number and do a breaking series, I say the number to work towards could be like 67
Great video. Let’s see more of these.
Should of brought a leaf blower out with you on those greens
Great video! More golfers need to go from the front tees once in a while. It forces you to use clubs you don't normally use. Your game is looking stronger as well, keep it up.
Great video Frank! Loved this content.
I subscribed just to watch more of these. Pure golfing, 1 person vs the course.
Your game has improved so much but you have so much more confodence and seem to be so happy since moving to foreplay. Happy for you bud.
The suspenseful music on 17 green got me 😂😂
Frankie playing in a video by himself is more entertaining than any Good Good video!
I wanna see a Riggs Breaking 80 series. I wanna see each Fore Play guy doing a lesson series.
I like this kind of video. Nicely done 👍
Frank is the only guy on youtube golf to actually vastly improve his game over the last few years
Not true Matt Scharff too he worked hard on his game
Still nice work Frankie! I play from the blues and shoot an 85 and then move up to the whites and can still shoot a 91 on my local course. Really, it's about the slope rating and that place doesn't look easy.
Frankie single-handedly keeping me invested in Foreplay
Seeing the Qi10 saving these drives I wish I had one. Too 'spensive tho
The first stealth is pretty forgiving and you can get one for around 200. Best 200 I've ever spent on golf
I would like to see more of these. Nice playing Frankie
Good vid I’d love to see the full squad from front tees. It definitely adds pressure because you want to make birdies.
Frankie from the Reds needs to be continued!! Also, what day and time are you playing where you don’t see another person on the grounds
Very interesting concept!
Can hear Dr. Brett McCabe saying “Your process sucks” after every bad shot haha
Love this Frankie! Also love that is was only 30 minutes whenever I see any videos over an hour I almost always pass.
Most haters on this vid could not shoot this score from these tees. Game has improved so much.
Brilliant video. You are a young Rick Shiels. Time to break off and start on your own. We will follow you Frankie. To scratch and beyond!!!!
I’ve started stretching since I’ve been watching all these UA-cam golf videos. I think I took for granted the range of motion of most pros
Great vid need more Frankie videos
If you want to play and actually have fun playing golf play the front tees…. I have been playing them and it’s so much more fun .. when par 4’s are 3’s and 5’s are 4’s it’s actually fun
Excellent video I need more
Thank god for Frankie
I’d love to see what Joel could do from the forward tees. That would be a really fun video. Dude is super chill, fun to watch him. I bet he’d be down.
We're gonna drive par 4s (hits drive 260 on the 1st)
Strong mental from Frankie with the bounceback eagle after the bogey. Guy would have spiralled a couple of years ago.
wow Frankie really has gotten a lot better than last year. Good game Frankie
Great video, shows just how important putting is.
I’d watch this type of series every single time it pops up on my feed! You’re breaking it next time
Collab match versus you or Riggs... lets go!
People should really think about the tee boxes based on handicap. Front Tee box is NOT just for women, Tips (Black/Blue)= + handicaps; 2nd Tee box (White)= scratch to 5 handicap; 3rd Tee box (Gold)= 6 handicap to 10 handicap; Front Tee Box (Red) anything higher than 11 handicap. This is how the golf course architects think about the tee boxes. The distances are part of the equation, but the proximity to the bunkers, hazards, trees and other things that make up course management are the REAL determining factors for the handicap system, thus the reason for the variation in the tee boxes.
Frankie is such a fluid golfer on his swings, when he hits it flush it flies. He just loves to baby the putter too much and wants the final rotation to fall in 😂 old timer told me always hit it %110 of what you need
Great format
excellent Frankie. KEEP EM COMING.
Very cool vid, more Frankie content please
Definitely run it back- I think a 68 is for sure in the cards. I’m going out this week to attempt to replicate this
We need more.
Great round. Awesome video. Just need to sharpen the short putt skills a little.
Great job Frankie!! Love the content.
This was a quality intro brother, let’s go Frankie boy
Great shots and awesome video Frankie and Brendan!
So many putts you just knew were low before he even hit them but the rest of his game has gotten so solid! Also, what do y'all do with all your previous sets when Taylormade get you guys new clubs?
great driving. play the next tee box and keep the series going!
I’d watch more of these
Love the Frankie videos. Best guy in the YT golf world ! Agree ? ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Been a hot minute since I kept up with the ForePlay boys. Noticed Riggs's game is going south, Frankie's has gotten better, Trent is still a delight (even if he is still terrible), bit wheres Lurch?
Place looks sick 👍👌 looks like a lot of fun to play. I'd love to join in on this challenge with you Frankie
"Don't go chasing birdies"
Hits driver on a
10:40 #7 looks beautiful! tough hole for sure
My round hasn't begun until I three putt for bogey once. Great looking swing Francisco!
Damn, that 7th hole glow up is crazy. Shades of Mr. Dye with that bunkering.
I would love to see Frankie and Trent using aim point. It’s the one part of Frankie’s game that is yet to show the same improvement.
Bless you for doing this. So many players need to do this asap to learn to score, and have more fun….
Not enough being said about 1 man videoing this entire thing. It's a great video, and Brendan Jones deserves a lot of credit.
Bro you made 1 over par, thats like almost scratch or single digits handicap, thats real good mate.
Gotta get result out of the pre-putting word salad. “Have to make this” is the first step in a three-putt bogey. Line, speed, good putting stroke. Don’t force an outcome
shoutout staying consistent off the tee, hellyeah
Genes’ new moderated hole was just so nice, we had to show all the different angles
Solid fucking video. Frankie played great and was super hard on himself, but also missed a lot of short putts. Ball striking and approach was good. Production A1 for a 1 man crew. More videos like this.
Good video!
That was insane!!! Great round Frankie!
Keep these videos coming Frankie!
Series name “Frankie from the Front”
Need more behind the greens
