Thank you for posting/sharing this on You Tube. A local citizen had a moving sale and sold me the mat cutting kit. Later on I had to move and misplaced the VHS. I now have better control of pausing and rewinding and have a backup if i still can’t find my VHS tape later on.

I managed a Deck the Walls framing shop in the mid-aughts, and mat cutting was a wonderfully zen part of my workdays (aside from the occasional paper cut).
I've never been able to try, but it does seem like it would be soothing. And "Deck the Walls" is a hilarious name for a framing shop. There's one in Portland called "I've Been Framed" that always makes me laugh too. It's right next to the best VHS/DVD/Record store in town.
