They won’t. They’re following “Beaus vision” and he just doesn’t want to use Storm for according to him “action and violence” he just wants her to talk and be a good black woman that empathizes with everyone and is only there to talk.

From turning the Sahara Desert into glass, destroying a canyon bluff, creating a massive storm to return and magically recreating her costume." "Meaning Storm doesn’t have to have a massive omega level display of power every moment or use violence against the enemy in order to show her power." So judging by his 2 statements and by her actions in the show, they just want her to be a caretaker or sister that the team can talk to for "hope" while not showing her power on anybody and just have her randomly do things not against anyone to still show how powerful she is????
