Sometimes we take our birds with us when we go to the lake. We wanted them to have some fun and fresh lake air on the beach. These birds are imprinted and can never be released.
Every time I watch your videos I want to get a bird, but I know it's not as easy as it looks. You guys put incredible amounts of time, energy and money into their care. It's a true labor of love.🌈❤️‼️
The biggest part is the emotional investment in them! Every day coming home the first thing I want to do is to go see the birdies! And they are always so happy to see us, dancing there and fluffing their wings to us! We love them so much that a mere idea of anything happening to them is so scary!
Maple and Pie are very smart birds! They both know that they have a great and peaceful life, with no cares or worries. They never have to worry about food or danger, because they feel very loved, and trust you! If i was a bird, I would imprint on you guys!! LOL
Amazing carers you both are, restores my faith in humanity when there is so much cruelty in the world. It is beautiful to watch, thank you for loving these birds and giving them the care you do. Gorgeous dog they are very lucky to have you, your gentleness shows through all your animals. There is such harmony between them all, you are both such lovely people, thank you for letting us share x

Lots of people in my old neighborhood don't like them. Because they eat little birds and the eggs.I love all birds. they used to come into my yard every day.

These two birds are beautiful, adorable, and precious ~ it’s wonderful to see them treated with so much love, gentleness and compassion. You’re so patient and understanding when they’d rather stay in their cages, which are clearly spaces where they feel very safe and happy ~ too many people would bring them out before they were ready, thinking they were doing the birds a favour somehow. They’re wise and intelligent spirits, and deserve to have their choices and boundaries respected ~ they clearly adore you and trust you completely, and it’s an honour to be trusted by corvids. I’ve had an ambition for a long time to adopt young corvids who cannot survive in the wild, and give them the best lives possible. I’m aware that it’s a big responsibility, and have been studying them for years, and making friends with a pair of ravens living in my garden. You’re truly an inspiration, thank you for sharing this beautiful video!
Peta and organizations like that have made people have a view that cage=bad. Wich is not true. Theese birds get alot of enrichment. Playing. Roaming around the house. And outside too. To them their cage is like their safe little cave.
Flapjackbatter ~ So many people think of cages as being like prisons, where birds are held captive, and I agree that it’s not like that at all. These birds’ cages are their homes and their safe havens ~ places they can return to for relaxing and snoozing comfortably, without having to keep an eye out for danger. These beautiful birds clearly enjoy their cages like we enjoy our houses!

I love your videos. Your birds are so beautiful and magnificent. Where I live, there are no magpies and crows are often thought of as a nuisance. So when I tell people they're one of my most favorite animals, they can't understand why (and probably think I'm weird, lol). I wish people were more educated about animals and nature so they could have a better understanding and respect for all creatures and habitats. Your videos help people to see the beauty and intelligence of these amazing birds.

I had the pleasure of raising a baby crow I rescued at a cemetery in Visalia. I named her sunshine and call her my sunnybird. Sunny is free now and flies with a male crow in my fresno, .ca. neighborhood. I miss her dearly but still see her every once in a while. She spends minutes talking to me before she goes about her business of being a bird in the wild. I can't tell you how happy I am when I watch your videos. They bring great joy to my life and help me to remember my baby sunny. What you guys do is great. Looking forward to more videos. Sorry to be alarmist, but your comment about seagulls reminded me. Two weeks ago in Rome I witnessed a seagull attack and kill a pigeon in front of a crowd of people, and, in fact, right next to one of us. I would be very very weary of letting the birds out when gulls around. They can be fast and vicious.
Nice to see the little birds get some lake time! I especially loved watching Kullike walk around in the water with Pie. (Side note: Kullike should be a gothic princess or vampire for Halloween and carry Pie around the house! What a cool image that would be!)
Morgan your post reminded me of an idea I had.. If a new Austin Powers 4 came out... How cool it would be a have a new addition to Dr Evils organization... Frau Farbissina's evil cousin Frau Kullissina.. And her crow/crowbot minions! Of course magpie Pie is her faithful sidekick(on her shoulder)... Ve have vays of making you talk Powers!!
I LOVE CROWS AND BLUEJAYS.....you're so lucky to have your menagerie of birds about the house. I have frequent visitors, but only blue jays.....they're such intelligent birds!!
my crow also loved his small cage , wen't in by choice, rather than large cage at times, i think they feel more secure in smaller. i cover big cage at night with light weight sheer cloth, i still think they worry of birds of pray especially at night when owls do their hunting, they relax when i cover for bedtime

Great channel I keep snakes but I love all animals I currently am the farther of a Eurasian jay and a tiny dunnuck Im at the point that I think there too imprinted on me to leave now ,I'm quite glad .
if you have them from very young ten they are good cage birds you let them free in you house or garden so for a good life don,t lock theme up give theme the freedom in your house ..if they see you as your partner then they stay with you for life ..amazing birds super entertainers and they can grow old 16 to 20 years ..and in the wild max 15 years .. a jackdaw 30 years and 18 to 25 years in the wild ..magpay the same as the crow and they say they can talk with the gods... a jackdaw girl can be very jalouse ..remember she is for life with you married with you .. in holland there was one 60 years old ..jackdaw super amazing bird and they are all super smart ...man man man i love those type of birds its family .. think for a moment a raven can grow to 40 years old

We live in Saskatchewan, Canada! We never clip their wing feathers! Pie damaged his feathers by doing some crazy acrobatics and Maple never developed tail feathers for some reason.

Honestly I love this. The birds are happy and people really need to research to understand what being imprinted means. I love crows.
