Gentlemen, What has been described in the video is 95% correct, what's missing is, the folder you are creating the "Workarounds" in, is not "others", you should go for "NV40" just above it, and follow the same steps he just said and it will work indeed, for me I have Nvidia GTX 1060 and the number I used was "31408" and it's working perfectly, Thanks a lot for the Video

Thank you it worked with my GeForce GTX 1060 3GB/PCIe/SSE2 using 30008 for value data. I had to put the graphics card file in NV40 file.

I’m curious, what do the different combination of numbers represent when entering the hexadecimal code? For the record, this did indeed work for the computer I use at work I’m just curious

I tried it on Solidworks 2021 and it ALSO WORKS! The important part is THIS: You need to add the registry key at different places, depending on which graphics card you have. For "Intel" cards it appears you have to use the "Others" folder. For NVidia 10xx and 9xx cards it looks like NV40 works (mine works for GTX970) and for ATI 8xxx it looks like R420 works. I tried bot the DWORD "30008" and "31408" and both worked for me. Hope this helps you.

I have solidworks 2016 as well, and if this video didn't work for you. i'm not gonna try anything just in case it decides to not work for me either. So i'll just have to wait until we can get an answer to it. it might be for 2016 specifically, but taking chances isn't necessary
