Thank you for featuring Shan cuisine. Shan are one of major ethnic groups in Myanmar. I am a Burmese expat and one of my favourite dishes is Shan noodle with fried Shan tofu. I can't go home since last year due to COVID and this year, the bloody military coup happened. People in Myanmar including Shan people have been suffering from extreme oppression and atrocities under military junta and many brave people have sacrificed their lives fighting for freedom and democracy (so far more than 800 lives have been lost). Your video makes me cry knowing that I won't be able to see my parents and families in the near future.
