This man lives to eat. While eating is just part of the journey of visiting places, while the place itself is the destination, for this man the eating is the purpose of a place rather than just the place itself. I enjoy it very much.
Mark , you must be a very good human because your smile inspires , makes my sad mood turn into happy , but I have one and only wish to have food with you and your family ,.I know this is impossible but still I have hope on God that he will fulfill my wish , stay well and fine , from India (Odisha state)
Greetings from Taiwan. Thank you Mark and your family for still making videos in times like these. You make our stay home life so much easier. The lifestyle, daily routine & 18:30 for bed time are so surreal for people of modern age yet gives us something to chew on, being self-reflective about the life we've been leading. Looking forward to more of your clips. Have a good one!
Me from India 🇮🇳 definitely not sure I can eat food like this but it's a pleasure to watch different cultures and food and beautiful sight seeing places ... Then watching fancy and ******stars hotel watching this natural video is good👍🏻
Hi Mark we have been watching your video /documentary vlogs for years, your commitment to your followers is remarkable and heart worming, when life becomes troublesome and full of negative emotions we get on utube and watch some of your vlogs like this one. The covid 19 virus has obviously not been good for your work however your ability to adapt to the changed circumstances is remarkable, keep the good work going, we are still watching and enjoying your vlogs.
Thanks for sharing Mark it must be a really beautiful experience. Some people cannot appreciate these traditional lifestyles and need make judgments about poverty etc. Especially people in the West. I hope these villages will maintain forever. They're invaluable 🙏
Yes he is. Am I the only one who immediately replied "Goodnight Micah!"? Lots of love from Germany + please stay healthy or get well again soon, everyone!
Villages are beautiful destinations. You can get lost in a small village without realizing it. You will feel more at peace in a village. Love from Korea 🇰🇷💕
Another amazing video Mark. Your genuine smile towards our culture is giving us energy and remind us who we are and what are we fighting for. We are currently fighting for peace and democracy. Once we achieve it, we like to welcome you to visit our Shan State and we will welcome you with peaceful and diversity of culture and amazing foods.
I really love these videos, when you show us remote villages and introduce us to their culture, I learn SO much, we see your family, these are the best videos you make.
What an experience again, simple life in a typical village and most important to share with such positive energy. Don't forget Myanmar actual very bad situation there+Covid
I’ve been sick for the last and I have binged watch your videos and honestly I feel a whole better still under the weather but not like the beginning so thank you!!
Love your content Mark been watching you for years its great to see you and your wonderful family enjoying the natural beauty that is Thailand. Also what a way for micah to grow up and learn life. The best 👌

I loved this video. What a gorgeous setting and way of life. And….Micah is all of a sudden talking like a champ lol That’s the first time I’ve heard him speak clearly and in sentences! Wow! Of course I’m sure he copies Daddy all the time 😃
🌶🧄Another beautifully presented and well edited video Mark, so obviously an easily earned 'thumbs up' 👍 Thank you to yourself and Ying for bringing us along on these experiences. I almost feel as though I'm journeying around Thailand with you. It's a rare skill within the Tavel Industry and you consistently present video's with passion & positivity which is clearly part of your personality. A much appreciated trait, especially given the restrictions due to the Pandemic. Much love from Norfolk, England 🇬🇧🇹🇭
Mmmm .. I could sure use some of that fabulous Shan Breakfast this cold and overcast morning in Vancouver (Canada) 😋.. thanks for the visit Mark..keep the great Vlogs coming and stay safe to you, Micah & Ying 🙏
Awesome ! Thanks for sharing this beautiful place ! Loved that colorful mosquito nets , ( I remember backed then in the Philippines we used to have just a plain white mosquito nest 😍) and also the way they prepares their food 👍👏❤️❤️❤️
That snack in banana leave you had with coffee is called Khao Poak (glutenous rice pounded with round sesame seed which is available only in Shan state). Missed it 😪. Thanks Mark. You are one of a kind presenter. Wish you could visit Keng Tung in Myanmar ( not at the moment though ).
Here in the Philippines we also have that kind of house back in the province when I was little. Same set-up. They hung a swing for me and my cousins to play. I miss those days.
U know mark u know more about our country than us,really ur cool keep up the awesome jobs we are still watching ok.and yes u are married. Guess I'm to late to bad me,ok continue
What great people to hang out with! I love a breakfast that includes real garlic! and river fish. A powerful breakfast for people going out to the field NOT to the office!
What a wonderful piece. Let's give it up for the aunties!!! I got to stay at a Lisu village, a Hmong, and an Ankha. Long time ago. Plain Bic ballpoint pens and a suitcase full of bumper stickers were worth more than cash. Tuk-tuk drivers take you anywhere for a Top Gun sticker. The pens they use to make their tattoos.
Open concept at its best!! Mark, have you always eaten spicy and did you have to up the spice level over time??OK, so Micah is the next blogger in progress!!
We'll all be so glad when Mark can resume his travels around the world.
So sweet that to hear Micah say good night. Sending love ❤️ and big hugs to you all. ❤❤❤😊
