OMG THIS IS SO USEFUL!!! I cannot explain how many hours I've spent troubleshooting lost projections when I make one teeeny design change about 500 features behind the sketch feature.
I was with you for the first ffix (awesome - this is [hopefully] going to help so much - as I have something that keeps breaking) but felt like a longer video on the later fixes would have helped. Maybe do a 10 to 15 mins vid where you take your time a bit more?
ah ok... the joy of the re-watch, I managed to work out what you were doing. I'd still propose it might be worth doing a longer version of the vid. What might help is if you either slowly step through the timeline to show how the complex part was made, before breaking and fixing (gives the viewer context). Or create a simple (so as to not take too long) part from scratch, then break and fix it.
One of my projections broke and turned green instead of yellow and won't let me access the "manage lost projections" tool. Any ideas? I looked under utilities and everywhere I could think of and can't figure out how to bring up the tool.
The video was good, but not enough examples. There are many more error messages that I cannot understand. Where can I find more help on lost projections and things like that?
Autodesk, please fix the issue where projected geometry becomes fixed if you redefine the sketch plane 🤦🏻♂️ Just make it lost projection please omg. AT LEAST FOR A PARALLEL PLANE OMG
Omg, I didn't even know that exist. I've always just redo the sketch almost entirely. This is a game changer for me at least. Thanks for this video!
Awesome to hear! This is new as of Monday.
WOOHOO!!! I dread seeing those yellow warnings. Looks like you guys have made it much easier to correct them. Thank you!!!
Yep! This tool is super handy!

Great to hear this update is helpful! Our dev team is working on overdrive bringing things like this.
Best video, I‘ve not known this before so I had to redo the sketches !
That's because it didn't exist! Just came to Fusion 360 Monday night.
First 😄
No seriously great Video. I will definitely Deal differently with lost Sketch projections. Thanks!
We're still doing that? Hahaha. Glad you like it!
Now I want to get back to my old designs and break them all to fix in that way :) Thanks!
Many MANY thanks to our amazing dev teams!
Wrong references will bite us after the late modifications and revisions and we try to figure out what was wrong. Thank you for the nice video.
Glad it was helpful!

Sorry it was unclear! We sometimes go a little overboard in speed with these quick tips. Glad you figured it out though.

will they be adding sketch to the 2D side of fusion? also to be able to dimension arc length.
Yes, these will both be coming at some point. I believe sketches in drawings is real close!
