    I have same bike with 12k on clocks just getting it ready it has stood for nearly 15years went to put in gear and clank grind, clutch is disengaging but wheel is locked any ideas?

    Did you lube the cable before putting it back? It will help to reduce stress on the nib and lever (and your left hand). Quite a procedure to remove and replace.

      Yea was lubed. The first time the cable casing had a bad point and it scuffed thru and cable broke. Then took the cable to a place and they made a new one for me and lubed . They did however did not properly attach the Nib and it came off so i took the cable out again and they fixed it.

    i have the same exact bike thank u so much did u have trouble adjusting it after install ?? any tips my part comes in 2 days

      Not hard to adjust. You must just get it to the way you like the clutch. I think its a easy install. Just observe what you did when you took it off then it easy

      Regular motor oil works just fine..
