@@someonenamedtailsdoll7805 Well the grandmaster ninja probably felt pretty pathetic when it was face to face with four maxed out bloonjitsus in a 4 player co-op Shivering in his timbers, he is
I have become obsessed with stacking heros and paragons by the 1st s.monke - to hide them all under the vtsg. Theoretically with 4 tsg's, 4 heroes, and 7 paragons...you can hide all of them even if you use ace and Churchill.
A problem with the test here is that each Overclock actually adds less than a 2nd Bloonjitsu’s worth of damage but also takes up more space than a 2nd Bloonjitsu. Arguably speaking, there can be a lot of debate of which placements are more beneficial to place an OC or a new jitsu. Also I feel like not having Grand Sabo was a huge mistake, since it buffs all Shinobi Ninjas on the screen which makes a huge difference because it gives all Shinobis more range which is a huge deal with saving space for like a bunch more jitsus in center placements if the shinobis on the side get more range to reach the middle. (Granted you'd have to sell and rebuy for full uptime but it still definitely saves space) Edit: Also I’d like to point out selling and rebuying Homeland. As you pointed out, Temples almost never use up all their pierce by default. But Ninjas have seeking shurikens, making the +100% pierce buff from Homeland’s ability much more important to consider. If you buy and resell Homeland it would probably benefit Bloonjitsus about twice as much as the Sun Temples, which alongside Ezili buffs + Hex, I think there is a very much legitimate reason to consider why Bloonjitsus could be better.
Yes, this is true! I am aware that Grand Sabo also does buff it. Yes, there is a case to be said. I probably should have hindsight, just included it in both runs. That being said I will leave this also slightly a bit vague because there is a few things I would like to keep on the side as I finalize and hopefully get a future video up! Hopefully you will one day see the fruits of this effort :) Thanks for the points though! Yeah I also struggled to think if OC was more worth or if I should have just placed another jitsu! I will think a bit more about this since this really was my first time hard testing something like this
wouldn't the jitsu get a 4x dmg boost from homeland? since it doubles both piercer (hich the jitsu uses all with the seeking shurikens) and the attack speed (making it trow out twice the shurikens)
Cool analysis! Very very detailed! If I remember, there's a bug whereby the flying Planes don't add their pops to the Temples, so that's pretty important when comparing pop counts. But even ignoring that, the rounds speak for themselves: and they're a TON cheaper !! I wonder if we'll see ninja spam in a boss meta soon
I've done a bit of testing on my own, and i think Ninja strats are better than temple spam, but only if pushed to the extreme. Caltrops on all ninjas, 100% uptime for Call to Arms with buying/reselling micro, BMA setup with all the usual debuffers, Master Bomber and Grand Sabotage, and at least some Paragons(basically just Boat and Ace but more past that should help a tiny bit) You'd need the best computer money could buy to be able to run that in a way that doesn't make micro impossible
The temple setup is good but not as optimal as it can be. You can cram in way more with optimal placements and to maximize DPS put all temples on portable lakes with a flagship to buff everything. Also I'm pretty sure temples would do much better on logs because pierce is used much better
Another really great video there! As you mentioned, you probably should have used BMA because the way that the damage between sun temples and bloonjitsus scale might be different when BADs are the only factor. It might end up being the case that either sun temples or the ninjas do a lot more damage to them. Caltrops would also end up being immensely powerful since their damage and pierce scales with each other multiplicatively. I'm also not sure if Overclocks for every Ninja makes sense because one engineer provides less than 100% extra attack speed while also having a bigger footprint. But putting all of your damage dealing towers in better spots and the Overclocks further away might still be more valuable The only real way to test it all would be in a full run with all of your other damage towers but that's a massive time investment. Also, using Geraldo might even end up being strong too with the new stronger degree 100 paragons and his see camo potion making up for the VTSG range.

imo the meta would be some combination of both if a temple is going to use a lot of unusable space (like it covers a lot of track), it technically uses less space than if you used it in the open
Probably temples go further about 20 or 30 maybe 40 but ninjas are waaaayy more cheaper than temples if you have 1 million get support temple and spam bloonjitsu get perma brew and master bomber for stun That strategy is also used lategame chimps runs for the late game As crazy as that sounds gwen or ewen pat fusty could be tryd I think but I m not pretty sure if anyone wants to try it they can do but I m not doing it 😂
Funny how this has come up with a Phayze Least Cash boss mode currently on, and it appears several top 50 strategies used top path ninjas buffed as much as possible. I got $1.647m on the elite boss with a Ninja strategy including max shinobis and 3x T5 ninjas all buffed by a Sun Temple, Permabrew and Call to Arms, which produced a Degree 70 Ascended Shadow midway through T4, then T5 saw this and a Plasma Monkey Fan Club setup finish the job.
In lategame easy mode, sun temples are still better because you can move towers into they’re footprint, but if you play in chimps lategame the ninjas outclass simply because they are more affordable, even when considering ezili as your easy lategame hero.
Bloonjitsus are pretty underrated for raw damage. I had a save on cubism CHIMPS that went past round 200 with obyn greenfoot as the hero and my main damage being jitsus. My highest run on CHIMPS is round 259 and it could’ve been with Obyn or Ezili, I forgot, but the point is that the value for damage, and just raw damage output alone for jitsus are insane, plus they are the most buffable tower in the game, hands down. One damage, meaning that damage buffs work the best on them, and the shinobis being exclusive to ninja monkeys. Good video, I wouldn’t dare stress test my computer like that lol.
Yeah i feel paragons cost a bit to much as well. In terms of sacrificeing money. Haha You are spot on way to grindy for them I also cant imagine how long these videos take, thanks for the information.
I feel like you should've gotten a Master Bomber as well, since you're only going to get that if you set up the 20 shinobi army. I wouldn't have made it Sun Temple vs Jitus, but rather Sun temples feat. Adora vs Ninjas feat. Geraldo. Also you should've 100% added Grand Sabo for both runs, because it also buffs shinobis and give Jerry fires on them insane dmg. And btw the Ninja strat is insane for late game CHIMPS. I tried it out just yesterday, completely winging it, messing up placements and all, forgetting to get Jitsus and getting rdm T5s and still going to R180. Ninja strat should be better when adding in a BMA, Master Bomber, Geraldo and Grandmaster. The quesion is, do the Gerry fires outclass Ezili? Because on round with multiple BADS, MOAB Hex can only do so much.
honestly ninjas are just amazing towers, you can even beat games ninja only if you rush teir 3 bottom path before round 28, adds quite a nice stall as well when they get stacks, add caltrops to the shinobis and the high peirce and attack speed melts bloon rushes, they do suffer with single target damage but sticky bomb and bloonjitsu deals with them quite handily. i never really thought about using the strategy lategame however despite it being the casual fuck around strat that got me furthest into lategame before i hard focused farming early. but honestly opening up another hero option is pretty big, and with the layout of shinobi centre and outside while bloonjitsu's along the track to maximise the buffs coverage, yeah the utility of ezeli garanteed killing bads would probably override more vtsg damage especially 400 and beyond. quite exciting honestly cause sun temples can be quite annoying at times with upgrade orders and deleting surrounding towers along with adoras blood sacrifice not being tech bottable.
actually yeah you mention in the video you got 401's, that would make sense for chimps games where you need to save cash for big upgrades bur for ultra late game, you're leaving a ton of free damage on the table since caltrops have the same attack speed and peirce buffs the stars recieve so they might actually be stronger combined with azale's hex ability making up for bad health scaling.
i always use ezili for my high round runs, % damage for all round with the ability to not only damage BADs but also jump from 1 to another is actually insane, sure adoras sacrifice is cool and all, but ezili also has cat so....
I don't know if you'll think its worth it given the amount of hours you spent, but I'll definitely sub to you because I appreciate the really nice quality of the video! :D Much love
i guess to find out for sure you have to try a full late game run on resort with paragons and other tier 5's but one has bloonjitsu and ezili and the other had temples and adora. surely that won't take another 80+ hours and be a waste of time :P

That damage comparison is invalid considering bloonjitsu need bunch of middle path ninja to get its supposed 550 mil dmg. So this videos proof nothing at all
I still think that bloonjitsu is really awesome when fully buffed, but for me, temples will still be my go-to for late game
