You always use heart of vengeance for Superstorm, as it will shoot more tornadoes with the 10% attack speed buff. And Glue Storm doesn't need corrosive glue to work on moabs anymore, while the bottom crosspath gives more uptime. You could have also placed it near Primary Expertise for 30% less cooldown. Energizer + Primary Expertise + Bottom Crosspath is 100% uptime

He probably could’ve got further by putting 50k of each type of them Also, why does he neglect certain tier 5s like spirit of forest, Moab eliminator, and a bunch of others? Do they scale worse than just having a sun god?

You need 17 non tier 5 tower minimum for 100 upgrades which i don’t think can fit in that pond.
