When I saw the picture I knew immediatly what she didn’t like about her makeup: the powder - just like the other makeup artist mentioned. But she should’ve been honest with the MUA and I’m sure she would’ve corrected it, there was no need to post the video.

Im not a MUA, however, have always been artistic and found make-up very easy and fun. Years ago one of my bff wanted me to do her make-up for a formal. Time, energy and $ went into the process. It looked great and she was very happy... her sister came in, looked at her face and went and got a wet cloth!!!... It was rude snd hurtful. 5 years later her sister was calling me every hour on the hour, demanding i come and do 5 FACES for a wedding. ..... don't worry..I said no repeatedly.

At the beginning so there could be a plot twist, but the makeup artists response was beautiful. Super professional, great advice for anyone in the future & just making the best of it!! The way EVERYTHING has to be plastered on TikTok these days is outta control. 🤦🏽♀️
I prefer how I do my own as well. I used to model and let me just say, not every makeup artist nails it, but I would always go away and quietly adjust it in a bathroom. I would have NEVERRRRRR put this out there just out of fear of hurting that persons feelings
That MUA was a real class act. She handled that situation which so much grace. I’m guilty of also not voicing my complaints because I think I would seem ungrateful or high maintenance (would never post about it though). I probably should change and be respectfully vocalize it.
