- My Chemical Romance (often abbreviated as MCR) was an American rock band from Newark, New Jersey, active from 2001 to 2013 The band's best-known lineup consisted of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way and drummer Bob Bryar. Founded by Gerard, Mikey, Toro, Matt Pelissier, and later joined by Iero, the band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love in 2002. They signed with Reprise Records the next year and released their major label debut Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge in 2004. Shortly after the album's release, Pelissier was replaced by Bob Bryar. A commercial success, the album was awarded platinum status over a year later.
Gerard is like a kid in this interview , it's cute . it's nice to hear Mikey talks too. I think this is one of the best mcr interview

it makes me sad that mikey talks about how he doesnt get why people would end their lives and then tbp comes in and mikey becomes suicidal and depressed and almosts ends himself
i know right, that makes me cry, even gerard was suicidal on this period i don't know why mikey said that:(
the xs on gerards hands make me oddly happy knowing he was trying to stay sober but sad knowing he was struggling and obviously had a huge drop just after this
I love that even though Mikie talks about being introverted he was able to overcome that and be part of something amazing c: really great interview
7:35 I really like how Gerard included Eric here, that shows some real emotional intelligence, and a relatability I so deeply long for in other people. Unfortunately, this is a very rare quality. I think I would get along perfectly with Gerard and Mikey, and Eric for that matter. Great video thanks!
Actually, that interviewer is really good, theres barely any genuine interviewers who seem to care about who they’re talking to, but this dude did a really good job. He even got Mikey talking, that’s when you know its good. 😂👍
Fun thing, Midtown and Thursday opened for My Chemical Romance’s sold out arena shows. Thursday and midtown helped MCR at their early career. Now MCR are helping them out
this is my favorite MCR interview. I've never seen mikey talk so much. Every time I watch 1 of these I hope he's gonna speak & end up disappointed but not disappointed this time sucka!
