The game is actually really good. The story somewhat reminds me about Iconoclasts.
Thanks to Ash / SynX_ for the suggestion. I always check new releases on Steam, but sometimes I still miss some good games. MO: Astray wasn't on a list of "new popular" games, even though it now has 1000+ positive reviews. And checking ALL new games is like diving into a dumpster. The story for this game is freaking dark. But it's really well executed and the gameplay is tight asf.

Man, I love this game. It was so fun to play. Good music, pretty graphics, interesting lore and cool bosses, and fantastic gameplay, what else do a gamer want? I recommend it to whoever reads this comic altough i must warn that the game has a lot of gore.

It is interesting the fact that I destroyed Dylan and the Final Termination Weapon at the first try and destroyed the Extremergy Life Form at the thirth time

@@Toasterloaf Over the course of the game there are thirty collectible memories to get which you're incentivised to find not just because you get an extra hitpoint for every five you find but they're also critical to getting the good ending that is only partially shown in the video.
Or that her research was actually given to the world. I don't understand - how is that remotely a "bittersweet" ending? Jeremiah turned her into a slime, and he's still out there creating who knows what for his mad science, while Elara and her methods that DON'T involve the abuse of organic creatures are gone from the planet forever. All we have are the sad moments of Elara letting go of her vengeance, and leaving in peace - but everything else points to the rest of the world being much, much worse for it.

holy fuckin shit that was a ride from start to finish. I have never seen this gane in my entire life but i just sat down and watched this ENTIRE video. ALL OF IT. WITHOUT PAUSE. do you know how rare it is that i watch an entire video thats this long without skips???? god fuckin damn i hope this gets some attention cause. wow. just. wow. im blown away and i don't even understand half of what just happened. just that the mech designs were gorgeous??? and what little of the story I understood looks to be on par with hollow knight or smth like that.

The opposite. She remembered everything, and decided she shouldn't exist any longer. Then her consciousness faded away, leaving only MO behind. You can tell because of the color theming. Her color was the purple, MO's color was the green. It's possible that she still exists as part of Mos consciousness, but MO is definitely the dominant personality now, regardless.
@@hedgededge1436 If you get all the collectibles you get the good ending, where she passes on, leaving MO. If you don't get them all, not even one, then her consciousness will override that of MO's and she continues to plot revenge.
It's quite unfortunate actually that there's not a middle ending. When it comes to collection-based endings I generally like a bad/good/perfect option as it gives a bit of a buffer between "oh you failed" and "oh you did all things have a 100% win"
