LIPBALM! I had been wondering how I can make lip balms with SPF without using zinc or titanium oxide. I had learned about red raspberry essential oil having the highest SPF but thanks so much for the added info for each oils/ingredient including the SPF's on them. You had posted so much information (unselfishly) that everyone can learn from. Thanks so much again! Awesome!

Oh Marsha, this one is even better. I've been tweaking the recipe. The batch I sent you had a residual stickiness to it that I got rid of. This one has better glide too. I love that you've enjoyed. They're such fun gifts to give away.

Lip Balm ;-) I just began keeping bees in April and love every minute of it so far. Looking at doing my first harvest soon as they have been super busy down here in Alabama with all of this rain. Thanks for the vid! Lip Balm is something I do plan on making in the future and this vid really helped me get a plan together, and no go buy all the unnecessary equipment from the bee books.
You are wise, that's a common error. i was told to buy 6 bee brushes, I really don't use them, but that's how we learn. I love that you're keeping bees. Yay! Let me know when you make your balm. I think you'll love it.

I saw a video where a guy drilled holes in a board....same thickness as lip-balm tubes. Then just pored the liquid over them....he then waited after it hardened to remove the excess. You could do more at a time, and eliminate the rubber band. Thanks for the video P.
