Ok, so I have watched a TON of these videos, and u are the very first that have mentioned the dangers of the light. So, props, girl! I'll definitely be watching more of yours now.
This is cute and you’re right about the LED lamp aging your skin. I always protect my hands with sunscreen and I also flash cure my nails so that the polygel stays in place until I’m done with all the nails and then I give the nails a full cure when I’m done.
@@thijdukjohnson yea most times 10 sec is good to flash cure, jus keep in mind the thickness of the polygel as well, if it’s too thick 10 seconds wouldn’t keep the polygel secure enough.
@@ertfgghhhh it’s actually UV LED Nail Lamps on a whole that ages skin, to my understanding all nail lamps are UV LED lamps if I’m not mistaken (I cud be wrong tho) But I just call them LED lamps 🤷🏽♀️😅
@@polygelcherael you are mistaken. There are uv, led, and uv/led lamps. Lamps that use uv light may affect your skin over time with prolonged exposure-not led. That is why people who use lamps with uv light wear tipless gloves as protection. There is no need if your light is just led. Led lights are used alot. For bug detection, dna detection, light sources ( in place of neon lights), etc. There are some gels that use uv light only. There are some that use led only. There are gels that use either/or light source.
That is so cool! You can use polygel on false full size nails 😱 I'm new to polygel, I've never used them before, have ordered some an hour ago expected to arrive tomorrow. I have some clear false nails in my room upstairs. That is such a brilliant idea, thank you so much for sharing and uploading your video, that's so useful. Bless you. Your nails looks fabulous.
I love them!!! I believe this style of nails and colour are the perfect ones for any kind of dress or outfit. You can be on the beach, in a wedding, at work, night go out....... perfect 💍
I asked for these as a Mother’s Day gift. They are hands down the best soft gel tips and tips in general I’ve ever used. I love the short coffin most. I type allllll day and often hold a dog as I work in a vets office and I can’t have long nails and not working I’m a single mom of two and constantly doing something or playing games etc and I can’t have long nails and these are absolutely amazing quality and the length is PERFECT!!!! i don’t even have to file the tips before putting on which is rare for me I use to have to file a nail or two around cuticle to fit perfect.
I just purchased some fingerless gloves for that same reason as I do my nails so often! Also these came out so cute I love the length i love short nails 😍😍
I tried it for the first time yesterday…. It took me literally 6 hours!!! And they’re not perfection. Did you take the covers off after they cured? I watched it twice but couldn’t tell.
Now that I’ve watched several of your Poly gel videos, I’m semi-terrified to try the process without the type of nails you keep in place vs. the dual nails that came in my kit!
That’s weird to attempt to keep them on, though… if you’ve ever used polygel, the nail form doesn’t stay attached… I feel like the same would happen with any plastic form used🤷🏾♀️ …interesting
You're nails look fantastic!! My kit is coming today and I've been looking up tutorials after seeing an advertisement showing a pea sized amount of polygel on a form then pressing on the nail. Now I keep seeing the brush technique. Apparently this way is better? I'm a bit nervous but watching your video makes me bit better. I have my alcohol ready (91 percent), extra brushes, wipes, etc. Lots to learn but wanted to try poly gel type nails after using gel kits and dip kits. Gel kits are still my favorite but I'm not the neatest at polishing my nails and the dip powder was not a great experience. This looks like a better option for nice looking nails, whoo hoo!!
I believe she doesn't take them off because when she's filling she mentions that she files the round edges of the nail covers because she likes the crisp square look.
Your nails are beautiful! I am having a hard time finding beetles 94 poly gel though. And as far as the lamps, LED does not affect the skin, thank god because I’ve been using them for over 15 years on myself and in my salon. My hands actually haven’t aged at all. 😊
LEDs do not but UVs do and many lights sold are UV/LED combinations. Regardless, if a person feels better using gloves or sunscreen go for it. But yes LEDs have not been found to damage skin. Just make sure ur lamp is not LED/UV combo.
Niiiice! I never figured I could use nail tips to form my nail. Love this. I love polygel nails. But the nail forms dual forms that come the the kit dont stay on my nail once i put the ploygel in it. I love how they stayed on in this video before you cured them. Im wondering is it the amount of polygel you used or the nail tip? 🤔 this is a great video. Your nails are beautiful!
So can you reuse the nail tip? Also when your nails starts to grow out, do you have to take the nails off and start new or can you just fill in the gap with ePolygel?
I think you could go more into depth when explaining… am I filing the plastic nail on top completely off? or just shaping? can we use any top coat? how long will the set last?
No their cover press on nails not dual forms she used the poly gel for color and also to adhere wit her natural nails with the press ons they call it the LAZY GIRL.METHOD I hope that answer ur question to the best of my knowledge
Hello I'm new here..I'm so happy to find someone that does short elegant nails on tutorials.Q: Do you if the full cover nails your using are wide bed nails? I have so much trouble in finding wide bed full covered nails.Thank you
What kinda brush did you use??? I want to start doing poly gel nails but I no nothing about it! I really don’t know what I have to buy for doing this type of nails! Please help me out someone😬❤️
I spent the whole weekend trying to do this with Modelones, it was a complete failure. It's not as easy as it looks. I gave up after having to remove them twice. I'll try again with another brand. Good luck all!

Love the outcome! I’ve never heard of leaving the tips on. I always pop them off, shape them, then top coat it. I’ll have to give this a try for sure!
I don’t think she left the tips on, I think she just used them as nail forms as they’re already the right length and shape 💕
@@EM-ju8bkyes I am curious too.. is the tips left on or what? 😃
These are perfect, it's hard to find a video with short nails . I'm so glad your channel was a recommendation.
I did not see her remove the nail forms/press ons. Did I miss something or she just leaves the press ons and the polygel acts as a nail glue?

Yes, take the covers off after you cure the nail.
I luv this video! I’m very clumsy so this method is perfect for me. Thx so much!!❤
I wish you would answer the question so many of us have. DO YOU REMOVE THE NAIL COVER or not?
Pop them off after curing them.
On her other video someone said she keeps them on. I was wondering the same thing & was super confused
Love the short look
I love square tips so much
Now that I’ve watched several of your Poly gel videos, I’m semi-terrified to try the process without the type of nails you keep in place vs. the dual nails that came in my kit!
I would LOVE to do this! I've been thinking about trying press on's, to see how it would feel, and look, without the commitment!
Love, love, love your tutorials! Can’t wait to see what I learn today.
I did this method with the kiss French tips and love it.
You really make me want to try polygel!!!! Seems like it's not as long as dip and builder gel. WoW!
Awwwwwww man my favorite part is the dual forms being popped off 😩😩😩 could you show that next time please
Your the best!! Hands down!!
They look amazing!! Are you removing the plastic nails after curing? Using them as a form or keeping them on??
Yes I was going to ask the same question…?
These are full cover nails, so she keeps them.
I'm pretty sure she's not keeping them.
@@tiffanystevenson9334 she’s keeping them on. It’s called the lazy girl method

Since they’re nail covers no, no need to remove, but if they were dual forms she would pop them off

Can you do a video on how to take them off?
I never see you remove the polygel mold, do you leave it on?
These turned out really cute but my question is do you remove the plastic nail cover or do they stay on? I really hope you respond to me🥺🥺
