    Thank you so much Gabor My Mother died suddenly this year of heart failure and I know she was a pathological people pleaser who had had Fibromyalgia. I have Dystonia. My Father and my ex are both narcissists. Fortunately I have broken the cycle and my son is not narcissistic He is slowly overcoming codependence, as I am. We are awakening and growing with the help of our spirits and of teachers like you. Xxx I came here to heal and be healed; that is the message that I receive in my heart each day. I am breaking the cycle of trauma and it is the most difficult and also most rewarding work I know. 💚

    Celebration of the feminine - expressing feeling, creating connection by showing vulnerability. This is the way of the future. A new paradigm that no longer shuts down this vital part of our being - the feminine once again honored. Very touching story. Thank you. What a wonderful surgeon. Most interesting interview.

      @@suzyvegalicious5646 Thank you for letting me know. I'm sorry to hear. I get lost with some presenter's micro expressions. I don't do it as much in person but take a more whole awareness. I checked the video, I can't see into his eyes or read his skin wellness his visible ankle is the only clue I have is his illness vascular?

      Oh, yes also I meant in my first comment "healthy of mind"

      @@touchheartyoga it's not complicated. I just meant that he is overweight and I could hear his breathing was difficult. But he has a lot of wisdom.

    i think the reason behind why most psychiatrists are wounded healers is because they want to help others out of the dark times they've experienced. Those who know, know how to help others best, they have their own empirical experiences to draw on. We are all blind to our own flaws to some degree

    • @bigfletch8
      @bigfletch8 5 років тому

      Part of that blindness includes not recognising that every stage of unfoldment is necessary. The psychiatric world involves a limited understanding that certain experiences need to be "cured", and often the patient and the practitioner are in the same limited awareness level where xrossover takes place.
      The mind , being what it is (a belief entity) from the psychiatrists perspective, sees "non cure" as a failure, which can further exacerbate his own inner conflict. Similar in a sense, where the G.P. has a low immune sytsem, and is vulnerable to the diseases he is deaaling with.

    Don't apologize for offending people. My best conclusions are formed from pressure of not taking information from educators as offensive anymore.

      I think he refers to Ruth, "the remarkable woman he met at the Cactus Rabbit Magic Shop when he was 12 years old, who devoted the summer to transforming his mind and opening his heart." This story is in his book: 'Into the Magic Shop: a neurosurgeon's true story of the life-changing magic of compassion and mindfulness.' :)

      This was an excellent example. I can see how in panic, this surgeon might not have found the moment, and it could have gone differently. I know what finding the moment is having experienced it when I might not have, but it is more available at some times than others.
