Found your video really interesting, informative and lots of good content. We are trying to decide whether to do a river tour - we are going to Indonesia in mid-October and wonder if it will be too rainy and also if the wildlife will stay deep in the jungle. Do you have any thoughts on this time of year? Was the heat and humidity oppressive? Was sleeping difficult?
Glad it was helpful! From what I understand, rainy season starts in November. So, October should still be okay. We went in mid-May which is toward the beginning of peak tourist season. So, it definitely wasn't as crowded. I can imagine October would be the same (toward the end of tourist season). It is definitely hot and humid - during the day we were sweating a lot, but when the boat is moving you have a wonderful breeze that keeps you cool. It felt a bit cooler at night and an okay temperature to sleep in (at least for us). What kept us awake were all the sounds from the jungle (bugs, birds, etc.). So, I'd suggest bringing earplugs if you go. The bed and bedding provided were very comfortable - definitely not the reason we lost sleep. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
I love how you dont usually stay in like expensive hotels instead the most casual places beautiful trip too!
Thank you! Usually the more casual, the more authentic - which we prefer. Plus, the more we save our $ the more we can travel!

Enjoy your travel guys
Thank you, friend! 😊
That was such a neat trip. The website doesn’t give a price. What month did you go and how much if you don’t mind me asking?
For the 3 days/2 nights we paid a little under $300 USD for the two of us. That includes all the meals, the boat staff and the guide.
@@kineticpassports thank you!
