Can't believe people actually believe he's actually like this. He's a character in WWE...he's not going to drop his persona for an interview. I haven't watched wrestling since around 2006 and I really appreciate Haymen keeping it old school here.
What? Have you been drinking today? We were talking about Heyman and you came in like an RKO out of nowhere, with that babble about the interviewer? XD could have been said a whole lot nicer too, kind of coming off as a prick... :/
I was almsot same when I was young. Pretty weird if I think of that old times. On the other hand I maybe enjoyed wrestling more, because it was "real" to me. If you remember Matrix: "Ignorance is bliss". :D
Or maybe wrestling fans just try to react based on the character? Uhmmm what do you want us to do, cheer the heels like Paul and boo the faces like Roman? You have no idea that you people are also a part of the crap that makes wrestling less entertaining and logical these days
Cara Macaroni Lol, you're part of the reason that wrestling's standards are so low nowadays. If you unconditionally accept Roman -- as your comment seems to suggest that you do -- then WWE have no incentive to get better at creating stars, improve their storytelling or listen to the fans. You criticise me for making wrestling less logical (as if that's somehow my fault, not WWE's), when also telling me I'm wrong for not cheering for someone who I have no reason to cheer for? That's illogical. Besides, if you'd bothered to read the other comments, it would be clear that the people saying "omg this guy is such an asshole" don't watch wrestling or have any idea how wrestlers (and managers) play their characters. Nor do they know who Paul Heyman is.
Paul Heyman is a freaking genius. If current WWE creative team had one tenth of the creativity Heyman has, WWE wouldn't be the crap product it is today.
People love to say that wrestling is fake and tell people that they are idiots for watching something fake. Yet when a guy goes into and interview acting with his fake character they bash him. What the hell do you want?
He sounded, and acted legitimately pissed. But he's an actor, so I don't know what to believe. I only know Paul Heyman from ECW, when I was a kid, and he's not the same, if this is him now.
Every time someone says "wrestling is fake" I respond with "really I had no clue, did you know that movies /anime/ cartoons and even video games are fake too??" .... Fuck outta here captain obvious
To clarify, he's a WWE Manager and Paul Heyman is in Character. He's old school. He does not break character nearly ever. You pissed off? Good. That in the Wrestling world is doing a good job.
Heyman is one of the best promoter in the world of professional wrestling. But I don't liked the promos he cut during the feud Lesnar had with Undertaker. Because he mixed Kayfabe a bit too much with reality and pointed Undertakers "real him" out (old and he was in hospital a.s..o) Yes it is true, and we all know also an Undertakers becomes old and has to retire at one point, but to rub that under our noses is shit. Made the Undertaker just look weak for nothing. And as a heel manager you wnat to shit on your wrestlers oponoent, but you don't want to make him look small. Because who wants to watch a match "Beast vs. Old Fart"?
Sorry, but the Undertaker is THE greatest Character in the pro Wrestling business and I am a fan of him. So yes, I am bitching if I have the feeling someone fucks with his career and legacy, no matter for what purpose! :P
He is clearly in character here! Heyman is brilliant. One of the best things in the WWE and a great link to the past glory days of Sports Entertainment.
Anyone notice that the only people that are using kayfabe still in the company are Heyman and Lesnar? Wish all wrestlers and managers still acted outside of the ring as they do in the ring.
There are many that still use kayfabe. The Undertaker, Cena, The Wyatts, Daniel Bryan, many others. Nobody can preserve kayfabe 100% of the time unless their characters are one and the same, but some do a much better job than others.
i personally love the videos of the wwe superstars outside of the ring, it lets us see that they are also people just like us...Except a hell of a lot more famous.
Ha Ha funny joke! he can abuse an interviewer who is only doing his job, and doing it in the most civil of manner! wow how ingenious is that! right? the most creative joke since trump ran for president!
Paul Heyman is the greatest promoter in the world. With this video everyone should see that. He knows how to get attention and eyes on products which means $$$$ for 2K and WWE. Incredible guy.
That's great for everyone, except A) the people who actually want information about the game and B) the interviewer who has to be abused by an old, offensive bigot with an ego problem.
Which translates to nearly everyone except for Paul Heyman! I hope he's proud of himself that he can be so self consumed and egoistical! his attitude is really indicative of his level of restraint he is capable of.
Nice projecting jackass. Wrestling fans like me love Paul Haymen because he is always in character. He's one of the fwe old-school guys left in the business.
Paul Heyman slayin em, he's a huge reason I still watch wwe. not enough people keep Kayfabe alive. Matt hardy is a huge favorite of mine due to his dedication to his character and not his paycheck
Heyman is all about promoting his brand, his client and product while maintaining dominance in and out of the ring with his creative insight, and cunning nature. That's what makes him the best advocate, creative mind in the business.
The man fascinates me! He truly has rare abilities as a caracter actor and i simply don’t understand why he didn’t make it to the big screens in hollywood and on broadway theatre... Paul is still young enough that he could do that, i hope he does...
I'm sure Heyman was a little pissed. The interviewer wasn't dressed appropriately like Heyman was so things were off to a bad start, didn't ask him enough questions about Lesnar (Heyman was clearing getting bored with the Bayley talk), and didn't promote the game like Heyman wanted him to. Also, when the interviewer admitted he was nervous, Heyman went after him like a shark.
You could just feel Paul Heyman going to town when staying in character, having a great time. Even the interviewer can't help but chuckle. And I imagine the person Paul Heyman threatens off camera to have fired is probably smiling.
Heyman is on fire here totally in character and shows why he's one of the best managers to bad he isn't at the helm of ECW anymore but when he appears with Lesner it's pure tv gold
oh how I love Paul Heyman ha. Honestly though his people should give interviewers a disclaimer before they interview him. He will literally take the interview away from you, or he will tell you what to say ha.
my little cousin met Paul at the Marriott in Dallas, he was actually very kind and even invited him into his room, gave him tickets to hell in a cell and tipped him very well.
From the moment the interview started, when Paul adjusted the loose squeaky table with that antagonistic look and exasperated sigh after having seen that teaser excerpt at the beginning of the video, I knew this was a work.
When a kid starts to cry over a match that isn't going his way, character is broken & the kid is calmed down. When an interviewer is feeling uncomfortable with the answers he's being given, it continues, non-stop. Makes sense.
character or no character that still doesn't mean you don't have to disrespect everybody now I see to see if the questions were confusing and the guy was nervous all he had to do was take his time and Paul Heyman answers the questions appropriately
is this one of those kayfabe things? if so then it is great! blurred lines between fiction and reality, if it ain't then Paul Heyman is the fat guy who lives in his mum's basement but somehow got rich by accident *don't get triggered wrestling fans! it's just a joke* hard to convey sarcasm through text comments :(
After doing a quick google search noticed that the guy is not an avarage fat guy, he is actually a very high profile figure in the wrestling and the bussiness world, also has very high IQ
He's a jewish mystic, he IS trying to help the interviewer from living such a lousy life.. Intelligence comes from presentation too.. It's called Geometry…
guys please don't gimme so much hate, i don't follow WWE as much, kayfabe is kinda dead nowadays but Heyman must be one of those old school kayfabe guys then! pretty good stuff!
WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS. PAUL HEYMAN SNEAKED INTO BEING A WWF PHOTOGRAPHER AND MEDIA GUY. HE SAYS HE LIED OR WHATEVER. NOW HES ONTOP HES BASHING YOUNG GUYS TRYING TO BE A MEDIA PERSON THE HONEST WAY? WHAT A HATEFUL
This fucking guy deserves an oscar **thumbs up** to you "grumpy walrus!" Seriously he is good, even though i do not care for Brock Lesnar, i would watch just Heyman, no wrestling xD... Younger wrestlers should take notes: how to cut WWE promo's 101.
The guy is so fucking good, he has people believing that Lesnar is the best.. xD Brock couldn't speak on the mic to save his own life, that IS NOT the best people... :/ Not by a long shot!!! Yet Paul Heyman sells it, in the words of dusty rhodes "were is the money" in promo's??? Just ask this guy... He will make it happen!
Fuck being good on the mic. If you conqueror people in WWE and UFC your the best. He deserves the title. Brock is literally the best. Not trying to be a dick but fuck mic skills. No disrespect to CM Punk and Paul Heyman but I rather watch Brock beat someone's ass than listen to Paul Heyman. Love them both but this is my opinion.
it's impossible to kick out or get out out of a submission and in universe mode you can't control both members of the team (why?) so no matter how great the graphics are it has flaws.
Imagine this on Raw/Smackdown. These kinds of promos made me a fake sports fan for life. This was a great interview and they sold a game, since my GF loves Bayley.
Even if he was in character, Paul was right....those were some pretty shyte questions....What, did that foo forget he was doing an interview the night before with Paul Heyman???? that guy was a joke
i keep seeing comments about people that took him seriously, i have scrolled through pages of comments and have yet to see someone who took this seriously, did so many people get that worked up that these are the only comments we see?
See, a good question would have been "now, Paul. You have an extremely successful wrestling promotor in the past. As a former promotor, would you want to have part-timer representing your company as a world champion? Someone who will only shows up once every couple of months? Why or why not?"
Kudos to Heyman for keeping kayfabe alive in 2016.
A rare art only really done by him, and Broken Matt Hardy.
Interviewer really should have realised he was interviewing a wrestling character and interacted accordingly.
Heyman is one of the greatest wrestling minds in history. This is 100% a work.
Totally agree. An absolute genius.
I like him too
Yeah because you'd slap him about if he spoke like that to you
I think Heyman is a 100% work :)
WA waheeeeey
Can't believe people actually believe he's actually like this. He's a character in WWE...he's not going to drop his persona for an interview. I haven't watched wrestling since around 2006 and I really appreciate Haymen keeping it old school here.
Peeps, his not really pissed off. It's heymans persona for the interview. His actualy a nice guy.
And a BIG family man :)
What? Have you been drinking today? We were talking about Heyman and you came in like an RKO out of nowhere, with that babble about the interviewer? XD could have been said a whole lot nicer too, kind of coming off as a prick... :/
Vulcan Raven wouldn't that make it difficult if someone wanted an honest-to-god interview though? I'm not mad, I'm just assuming.
@Vulcan Raven NO HE'S NOT
No he is not. He may be in character here but he's no nice guy in real life. He's a smug jerk who treats the people working under him horribly
It's so funny to see all the non-wrestling fans get pissed off over someone playing a character. :D
I was almsot same when I was young. Pretty weird if I think of that old times.
On the other hand I maybe enjoyed wrestling more, because it was "real" to me.
If you remember Matrix: "Ignorance is bliss". :D
what if you found out all sports are predetermined...?
all that means, is that he has done his job
Or maybe wrestling fans just try to react based on the character? Uhmmm what do you want us to do, cheer the heels like Paul and boo the faces like Roman? You have no idea that you people are also a part of the crap that makes wrestling less entertaining and logical these days
Cara Macaroni Lol, you're part of the reason that wrestling's standards are so low nowadays. Only a Sith deals in absolutes, Paul Heyman is a Sith Lord.
teach me the way of the Heyman
Darth Heyman
fucking love heyman, needs an oscar
The Oscars need Paul Heyman
when is the release date of this game
October 11
Owen Bradley soccer trash
irrelevant failure
Paul Heyman is a freaking genius. If current WWE creative team had one tenth of the creativity Heyman has, WWE wouldn't be the crap product it is today.
Gino Picart so why dont they use him then, hard to believe that hasnt crossed their minds
+Mike Moran they used to but Vince fired him because of creative difference.
Totally Agree
Gino Picart guess what, he's now in the creative team.
Paul Heyman is actually working with the creative Team because he demands more money and so he has to work more for that money
People love to say that wrestling is fake and tell people that they are idiots for watching something fake. Yet when a guy goes into and interview acting with his fake character they bash him. What the hell do you want?
Movies are fake but people watch them all the time
The Warrior TWTW thank you captain obvious
Paul heyman always in character even if he a restaurant with brock he'll say "Brock You Going To Let Em Mess up your order" Paul have no life to me
Heyman is one of the best promoter in the world of professional wrestling.
But I don't liked the promos he cut during the feud Lesnar had with Undertaker. Because he mixed Kayfabe a bit too much with reality and pointed Undertakers "real him" out (old and he was in hospital a.s..o)
Yes it is true, and we all know also an Undertakers becomes old and has to retire at one point, but to rub that under our noses is shit.
Made the Undertaker just look weak for nothing.
And as a heel manager you wnat to shit on your wrestlers oponoent, but you don't want to make him look small. Because who wants to watch a match "Beast vs. Old Fart"?
I was more pissed off the stupid questions asked lol.
Who are these people?
Wrestling Fan stop being a sensitive bitch
Sorry, but the Undertaker is THE greatest Character in the pro Wrestling business and I am a fan of him. So yes, I am bitching if I have the feeling someone fucks with his career and legacy, no matter for what purpose! :P
lol so many people that dont know shit about kayfabe
LEGENDARY IceMan don't give a shit is different from not knowing shit
Nor should they
+Mike Moran You're absolutely right. Fortunately, "don't give a shit," doesn't apply here.
***** why? what i have done to get called bitch....
Who said kayfabe was dead! Paul E. is the master!
So many people getting worked in the comments.... welcome to the world of wrestling!
A shitty world indeed.
No Genres nah, just doesn't involve bitches like you
"If your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle" 😂😂
Most likely Paul's just sticking in character. Just to make sure kayfabe won't die (for the millionth time) again.
He certainly is doing a great job, being in character.
Jack Mako Most likely? *Very obviously
Jack Mako i hate the way he says Brooock leesssnaaarr 😐😂
"Most likely". Its called kayfabe. And Heyman always sticks to it.
@@cookiemonstaa1930 cool story
You can tell he's playing. Heyman is hilarious. I'd be cracking up sitting across from him.
“I’m having an allergic reaction to stupidity” lol 😂
This is why he is probably the best manager in wrestling history. The only person you could possibly argue with is Bobby The Brain.
Paul Heyman is a treasure to the world of professional wrestling.
What a camera presents from Heyman. Can listen to him 24/7. Great guy.
Paul is the best at what he does. He's so good he tricked people into thinking this was foreal!
He's in character guys, relax lol.
He is clearly in character here! Heyman is brilliant. One of the best things in the WWE and a great link to the past glory days of Sports Entertainment.
lol Paul Heyman treats his entire life like its a work
Anyone notice that the only people that are using kayfabe still in the company are Heyman and Lesnar? Wish all wrestlers and managers still acted outside of the ring as they do in the ring.
There are many that still use kayfabe. The Undertaker, Cena, The Wyatts, Daniel Bryan, many others. Nobody can preserve kayfabe 100% of the time unless their characters are one and the same, but some do a much better job than others.
MunchieTime nah Brock lesnar is always like that . He give two shit about anybody . He a farm boy n hate the big cities lol .
How could you forget the Miz? :) Kayfabe is everything to him :)
i personally love the videos of the wwe superstars outside of the ring, it lets us see that they are also people just like us...Except a hell of a lot more famous.
He's not in WWE, but Matt Hardy is taking kayfabe to a whole new level
Lost my shit when Heyman said "Bailey,bailey...you want bailey"🤣🤣
its joke guys relax he is just playing a character
Ha Ha funny joke! he can abuse an interviewer who is only doing his job, and doing it in the most civil of manner! wow how ingenious is that! right? the most creative joke since trump ran for president!
Yes because this is staged. Duh.
The interviewer will be in on it. Relax, it's all just an act.
were they in on it though?
To me it sounded like the interviewer was pretty shaken up in a way even the best actor would struggle to come across as.
I think Paul Heyman and Donald Trump would be best friends.😂
I'm your mum's best friend.
maybe Paul's character
XxAverageG1107 the character of Paul Heyman would be one of his biggest supporters.
Amish Grande
shut up you stupid idiot...you deserve to live in 3rd world country.
Amish Grande
I knew you live in third world country because you are stupid idiot.
He is playing his Paul Heyman characterfrom WWE TV
Paul Heyman sold the shit out of being pissed off at that PR guy.
I see a lot of comments thinking that this is real it isn't it's just him in character ppl geez get over it
It's real to me damnit.
worked
Nope
God the interviewer was the worst. He was fumbling too much , he wasn't getting straight to the question. No wonder paul heyman got pissed.
Paul Heyman is the greatest promoter in the world. With this video everyone should see that. He knows how to get attention and eyes on products which means $$$$ for 2K and WWE. Incredible guy.
Heyman tried to keep the focus on the video game. Thats all
It's good that more people associated with Paul get paid!
He's in character here and great at promos.
For those asking, is not real. The interview is real but Paul Heyman is just doing his character like he always does on interviews.

Paul Heyman slayin em, he's a huge reason I still watch wwe. not enough people keep Kayfabe alive. Matt hardy is a huge favorite of mine due to his dedication to his character and not his paycheck
matt is just in his own world him and jeff i used to be a huge fan but they're just weird addicts. paul heyman is great a seller for sure
Paul E is the greatest slick shit talker of all time
This is why Paul Heyman needs his own promotion
Gotdamn Paul Heyman is great. This was fantastic.
Heyman is all about promoting his brand, his client and product while maintaining dominance in and out of the ring with his creative insight, and cunning nature. That's what makes him the best advocate, creative mind in the business.
I love Paul he's done a whole lot for the business.he deserves more credit than he gets
Still won't be as good as wwe Smackdown Here Comes The Pain, and Paul should know that.
The man fascinates me! He truly has rare abilities as a caracter actor and i simply don’t understand why he didn’t make it to the big screens in hollywood and on broadway theatre... Paul is still young enough that he could do that, i hope he does...
He's playing his character, he's keeping kayfabe alive, and he's extremely talented at it.

You could just feel Paul Heyman going to town when staying in character, having a great time. Even the interviewer can't help but chuckle. And I imagine the person Paul Heyman threatens off camera to have fired is probably smiling.
People know that professional wrestling is scripted, yet think this interview is 100% real? Nice one people!

From the moment the interview started, when Paul adjusted the loose squeaky table with that antagonistic look and exasperated sigh after having seen that teaser excerpt at the beginning of the video, I knew this was a work.
Man Heyman is just amazing. I don't even think anyone was sitting where he was supposedly talking to the "publicist" off-camera.
When a kid starts to cry over a match that isn't going his way, character is broken & the kid is calmed down. When an interviewer is feeling uncomfortable with the answers he's being given, it continues, non-stop. Makes sense.
I don't care what anybody says Paul heyman is great this guy never breaks character it doesn't matter the situation
Paul Hayman is a legend, best talker in the business, staying in character all the way, fantastic!
Paul Heyman is THE ONLY GOOD THING left in WWE.
He's in character for those worked up about this.
character or no character that still doesn't mean you don't have to disrespect everybody now I see to see if the questions were confusing and the guy was nervous all he had to do was take his time and Paul Heyman answers the questions appropriately
Heyman is a great man, funny and charismatic, he's in character, go and watch other interviews that way you can see how he behaves
I know it's a work, but he should ask him "So when are you gonna pay all the ex-ECW wrestlers, what you owe them..."
If it wasn't for Paul Hayman I would not even watch wwe for real, he is the shit on the mic
is this one of those kayfabe things? if so then it is great! blurred lines between fiction and reality, if it ain't then Paul Heyman is the fat guy who lives in his mum's basement but somehow got rich by accident *don't get triggered wrestling fans! it's just a joke* hard to convey sarcasm through text comments :(
After doing a quick google search noticed that the guy is not an avarage fat guy, he is actually a very high profile figure in the wrestling and the bussiness world, also has very high IQ
No just informing! All good..
is all good, good to see kayfabe is not a forgotten art then! i miss the attitude eta
As difficult as it clearly was to interview Heyman, I loved his opinions on TNA.
Heyman = Legend.
Here come the YTP's.
Eh?!
Danimal UA-cam Poops. Search ytp on UA-cam. Thanks me later
Fair play to the interviewer for his perseverance in carrying on with the interview
Man... he really love's the "If your aunt had balls she would be your uncle" comeback respond lol third time I heard it come out his mouth
he is like those maths teachers who gives u a tough time by cross questioning
Even of i do not know anything about Wrestling anymore, but i think this guy is staying in his role very well.
I love these fake shoot interviews they always do for wwe 2K every year
Bullfudge with the Kayfabe excuse when your favourite wrestler/managers who don't give a shit about you insult you.
100% a work. if he was really pissed off he wouldn't finish this interview. Heyman needs a wrestling branch in wwe. this man is still a genius.
i love paul heyman. work, shoot, don't care, those were some really stupid questions.
I felt so bad
For Paul Heyman
I love the Paul Heyman character. He is an absolute legend.
Paul Heyman is the last of a dying breed. The great wrestling manager
I would love to see Russell Brand interview Paul Heyman
This fucking guy deserves an oscar **thumbs up** to you "grumpy walrus!" Seriously he is good, even though i do not care for Brock Lesnar, i would watch just Heyman, no wrestling xD... Younger wrestlers should take notes: how to cut WWE promo's 101.

+Soviet Re4per
Conquering people... on roids. Lul.
Y2Crouch Lmfao xD
Y2Crouch I'm pretty sure even Paul was on roids during this interview
I'm pretty sure this interviewer knew Heyman wasn't serious at all if he was an actual wrestling fan. Keyfabe people. He rarely breaks his character
Paul Heyman vs Bobby Heenan for the best heel manager and best manager period along with Jimmy Hart somewhere in between
Wow! He predicted the Goldberg Vs. Lesnar Wrestlemania rematch for The Title!
Paul Heyman is gold. Also let the people in the comment section lose their shit. That's the point of kayfabe.
it's impossible to kick out or get out out of a submission and in universe mode you can't control both members of the team (why?) so no matter how great the graphics are it has flaws.
Heyman always uses that aunt/uncle analogy. It's too damn good!
Paul Heyman keeping kayfabe alive and well.
I consider Paul Heyman's actions to be really impressive and dominant
Paul is old school. He always stays in character.
He is honestly a pure genius in his character, wow.
See, a good question would have been "now, Paul. You have an extremely successful wrestling promotor in the past. As a former promotor, would you want to have part-timer representing your company as a world champion? Someone who will only shows up once every couple of months? Why or why not?"
Heyman is always gold. It's really quite amazing.
Paul heyman is the man that can do anything he wants because he's PAUL FUCKING HEYMAN.
Does this guy ever break kayfabe?
Bro, this interview is funny. 😹😹😹😹
I love how Paul Heyman stays in character.
Would this be a "work" or a "shoot" or a "work, shoot"?
