- Come listen to Mae Armstrong and I chat about what material and uses we like for each different laser. We will cover the 2D UV, 3D UV, Fiber and both CO2's (Galvo and Gantry). We will dive into some of the differences and what we both like or dislike about each for certain materials. Leather, wood, glass, metal, acrylic etc.. Neither one of us are affiliates for these companies and we will not be talking about the brands themselves. We will be talking about the technology behind them.

Great video! It seems like sandblasting would take forever if you had to put a template on each piece of glassware that you were running. This is the primary reason I am looking at a UV laser and currently trying to decide between a 2D or 3D.
Thank you so much for the absolute best video on the different machines and materials. I was about to buy a gantry machine but not now after watching this. Do you allow people in your FB laser group before they get a machine? I’d like to join to learn. Kim

Excellent info! Thank you. Quick question - which laser would you get better detail out of on wood? RF tube or UV?
if you think it will be small size 10"x10" and below a UV is where I go. If larger than that or I need to do a bunch of the same in a grid I use RF tube machine. Quality on both are almost the same. Best two machines in my shop.

Haotian UV Lasers. 10 watt if you can swing it.
