I think this is a case of because of how long she kept her feelings bottled up, it sounded a lot worse than they actually did. I’m pretty sure if she had brought this up to Peter earlier, he would’ve done his best to support and be there for her because that’s the kind of person he is. I also think it makes sense that she didn’t bring it up to him because she knew that it wasn’t entirely his fault and he was trying his best, and knew that was the kind of thing that was going to happen from being with a superhero. The symbiote just brought it all out and in the most negative way possible. That’s just how I feel, anyway.
