you and your wife work wonders. A couple of real craftsmen! Personally, I just love the old Airstreams but unfortunately, I am not in a position financially to purchase one at this point. Some day I would love to be able to purchase a completely restored 25 footer Tradewind from the sixties. Have it polished so it is like a mirror. Beautiful work and very enjoyable to watch, Thank you!
I have looked at hundreds of airstream videos and I must say your airstream is the absolute BEST ive seen thus far!! Absolutely stunning refurbishment job!! So vintage and authentic still to this day!! Thank u for the wonderful presentation!! You r truly a pro at restoration!!
You are a gifted artist! Sure makes me want to go back in time and escape this crazy world of today! Your family is very lucky to be able to enjoy this great artistic gift you share with the world. People that restore, are the best, they make our world beautiful and remind us, how it is suppose to be. May God bless you and your family!
This trailer is now in CA at Waypoint Vintage Trailer Motel in Ventura. You can stay in it. It's just as you see it here. Thanks for enjoying the video.
Absolutely beautiful work! Will a wheelchair fit through the door? This is amazing and those floors! Wow! Love this💖you and your wife do fantastic work! This is a forever home for sure!
It's all way's a pleasure watching your vidio's of all of you and your wife's gorgeous work! It's Brand-new Trailer! Thank You for another enjoyable vidio!😊
I wish this could be mine. So very lovely and beautiful. You have done such a great job, and you're right about how the quality used back then is no match for today and here is the proof! Thank you so much for sharing sir.
This is the Dowton Abby of mid-century camping trailers! Very Nice although the camera you are using was seemingly having trouble dealing with all of the reflection on the outside.
Wow!! What a beauty. You and your wife are skilled crafts people! What a joy! My friend has that kitchen too in her Spartan she has a old 50s Art Deco clock that looks like a star. (Idea for the kitchen nail.)
Beautiful trailer. Used to own a 43 ft spartina. Loved it. I now live in Alaska and am very interested if you think I can survive the winters in it. Would be my granny home if possible. Let me know if survival is possible in 30 below for 2 weeks at times.
Absolutely stunning! My good friend has a 51 Royal Spartanette 35ft nearly complete and original. Missing original fridge, front couch, furnace and table but has the L-seat where belongs. He lives full time in it at this time while he and I build his Off-Grid home and property. Tell me... I'm confused.... Are there holding tanks originally for fresh, black and grey? You talked about adding the fill point in the bedroom. So, did you add holding tank(s)? All or only fresh? Added or repair? This is a beautiful trailer you showed here, sir. Very well done!
***{ Wow .. 1950 in excellent condition .. all original .. lost of charm alright, it's a gorgeous old trailer .. clean great work, $68,500.00 .. OK .. it must be solde already }***
Just goes to show you how much better things were done back then and now there is no quality we live in a disposable world now and it's sad we just keep making more garbage . Go look at today's trailers no love for what they make plain and ugly boxes that fall apart in no time . I wish I could go back in time and experience that time when things were made to last and are beautiful like this . I wouldn't sell that trailer for any amount of money what a gem
Have watched a few of your vintage restorations. Your detail videos give the closeup, but what you need are some 'establishing' shots, of the whole! Zooming in so much, we cant appreciate how all those details come together. Slowly take some long shots, of the entire interior. Slow and steady....linger on the big view....point out the original bits....then go into detail. Forgive my advisary comments, but these trailers are so AMAZING, you need to have your videos provide why. Keep on doing what you do
I found one in my rural town way out in no where. Any tips for finding one that might not have a title and sitting for a long time. I very handy with hands on projects
Hi Brian, writting you from France here. I know you sold one Spartan a long time ago in France and would like to hear from you as I am interested in your 1950 Spartanette Tandem. How and who did take care of the shipping? Remember how much did it cost to the buyer? Other question you might be able to help is regarding 110volts...knowing here we are at 220volts..any idea about how to plug/convert 110volts into 220volts in a camping/campsite. I mean I would not mind getting american appliances like coffee maker, etc...or using an adaptator if using french electric stuff in the interior but what about the exterior one you plug at the campsite? How your french customers with the Spartan managed that without having to change all the electric parts Inside...I wouldn t like to have to take all the wood walls out again. Your work is just amazing in that Spartanette I would not like to touch one single thing and keeping it as a treasure (as one of the last one project you had). Knowing it comes from the USA and get totaly restored by someone like you would be an honor. All the old Spartan/Spartanette should had passed into your hands...You would have been a great Spartan factory employee....Let me know when you can about how to contact you as phone isn't always easy so that we could discuss about the above questions. Thanks. Sébastian.
I sold my trailer to a broker and he shipped it. I have no idea how or how much. I may be able to find the buyers name who lives in Neice(spelling?) I might have a number for you but I have to find it. If you are hooking it up as a perminant site you could use only one side of the 220 from the braker box. An electrician might be able to make you an adaptor so that you only use one side at the camp groung. I think you should be able to go down ftom 220 .There is also a video of that traoler on you tube that I believe the owner posted.I think with a web site. I'll try to find it.The only electric other than the lights and original refrig which works great, and the hot water heater which is brand new. If you had an adaptor to only alow 110 you should be fine. my email is ((all lower case no spaces casson cars at a ol dot com)
in 1953 or 54 the Spartanettes were built with wooden frames but I believe it was only one year.Except for that I think all the Manors and Spartanettes were aluminum frames.
Spartanette is still on the market....used it this past fall for a cross country trip into Canada....had a great time. If your serious on buying it...give me a call. My number is on the video...thanks !
What about the black and gray water capacity and the clean water? Just wondering. And how does the frig work? (Gas and electric?) And is there a furnace?
I believe the holding tank to be original and about a 25 to 30 gal capisity . It's one tank for both black and grey water. The heater is a brand new electric tank. the original still worked but I didn't trust it. I replaced all the wireing at the hitch , but the wireing inside the frame all the way back is in great shap as is all the wireing inside. Also replaced all of the electrical outlets. Also replaced all the brake wireing from the hitch back when I installed the new 12000 lbs of dexter axiels. this trailes is in extreemly good original . The are at least 2 videos upon this. I did install new wireing for the center brake light inorder to have all three lighhs come on when braking. Also installed new wireing for a 12 volt converter to run a surflow pump when dry camping. Replaced all the pluming, except for the shower manifold, and installed a 30 gal. fresh water tank wnder the street side bed. There is no furnace. We are fair weather campers. We do have 2 little portable electric heaters and when we took it to Jasper CANADA IT WORKED fine. Thanks for looking.
It's funny, with the wind noise and the weird camera lens undulations, it looks like the trailer is about to blow over like a house of cards! (starts at) 0:18
Amazing crapper, very impressive. Once again, now days the crappers are all plastic molded inserts, no real craftsmanship or pride what so ever. Just slap them together and on to the next.
Absolutely stunning! One of the most beautiful vintage trailers I have ever seen! I sure wish I had the money to buy this. 👍
Oh stunning. I could live in that forever. Love vintage. A simpler time.

What an amazing trailer and restoration. You and your wife did an incredible job bring a piece of history back to its prime.
Simply stunning. Excellent work.
I keep watching this over and again for inspiration on my own. Mine needs a LOT of work!
Mine too. How did you polish it and what type of materials did you use to get it so shiny
I’m in love with your family’s trailer , it’s just beautiful , made in the days when things were built to last xxxxx
Gorgeous!! Beautiful wood! I can't believe how fresh and clean it is! It's in amazing shape. Thank you for sharing this video.
This trailer is now in CA at Waypoint Vintage Trailer Motel in Ventura. You can stay in it. It's just as you see it here. Thanks for enjoying the video.

i know this trailer has been restored, but still...how in the world did it survive all those years? amazing and beautiful
I like the 4 burner stove. That's what I have in my class A even though I have never had to use all 4 at once. You did an amazing job on this.
This is the Dowton Abby of mid-century camping trailers! Very Nice although the camera you are using was seemingly having trouble dealing with all of the reflection on the outside.
Beautiful looking Spartanette. I've never seen one in person. :)
Wow! I wish I could afford this,You have done a wonderful job
Love your work that trailer is beutiful.
love the trailer and car combo!
Love the twin beds.
Just like Ricky & Lucy. Or Fred & Wilma.
Wow!! What a beauty. You and your wife are skilled crafts people! What a joy! My friend has that kitchen too in her Spartan she has a old 50s Art Deco clock that looks like a star. (Idea for the kitchen nail.)

So beautiful! What an absolutely beautiful work of art! You guys have done a wonderful job with it!
We really want to see the layout of the home from a distance. We don't like just looking at wood and electric plugs
Spectacular! 🤗💕
I enjoyed the video.
this is Beautiful
I love the sliding wooden pocket door. All you see now days are cheap plastic accordion doors or curtains even on the 100K 30 foot airstreams.
Absolutely stunning!

Love it and looking for a trailer to live in full time. Did you say 68,000 dollars?
beautiful
I have one very close to this and is in serviceable shape to give some love and maybe find a few things. I have truly enjoyed all your videos.
Damn nice trailer looks better than new ones hahaha

I have one like it that needs restoration. Would you be interested in doing it.
Were the spartanette trailers built with aluminum framing like the spartan manors?
in 1953 or 54 the Spartanettes were built with wooden frames but I believe it was only one year.Except for that I think all the Manors and Spartanettes were aluminum frames.
How much is a camper like this
How/where did you find a trailer in such excellent condition?!?
I understand most everything is original but did you replace the wiring and or any of the plumbing? Things that can't be seen.
I have a 1948 spartan manor that I gutted 10 years ago it's a 25 ft single axle shell is almost perfect some glass missing but a good project
How much
Is it sold? It's so gorgeous!

Beautiful.
The wall covering is "Formica" not linoleum - Formica was used commonly in the 40's - 70's on walls, backsplash, and countertops.
Did you change your phone #?
How much are you asking? This is beautiful!!!!
how much???
It's funny, with the wind noise and the weird camera lens undulations, it looks like the trailer is about to blow over like a house of cards! (starts at) 0:18

Amazing crapper, very impressive. Once again, now days the crappers are all plastic molded inserts, no real craftsmanship or pride what so ever. Just slap them together and on to the next.
We got $3000.00 just for the little table and chairs. And we could of gotten more for it.
