These lovely old '40s-'60s trailers are actually very well built. Marine-grade wood, solid steel and aluminum and great workmanships. When mobile homes got larger and longer in the late '60s and early '70s things went downhill. Thank you for all your hard work on this. I can tell you put in a ton of effort!
Brian, I've been in a few Spartans. I own two. So I can say with some authority that this is exceptional. I'm so grateful that you did it so tastefully and faithfully. Your asking price is extremely fair.
What a cool old trailer ❤ i personally love the oldie goldies hard to find one this nice and so factory complete good job and thanks for saving her she's a beauty👍👏
Beautiful stunning camper! You & your wife did such a good job restoring it. I hope you got full asking price. Camping in it must be a challenge though, everybody stopping to gawk & ask to see inside. Understandable, but that would drive me nuts :)
I love this so much! We have a 2011 32 foot TT and it goes out once a year, we do upkeep every year and it’s still falling apart. There’s just no quality now days, the folks in the past worked at quality and longevity. Stunning.
This is awesome! You did an amazing job. Your wife did an amazing job on the curtains as well. :) Your attention to detail is incredible. Pretty cool how you did the license plate too. There's just so many things. It's probably sold by now, so I imagine the new owners are really loving it.
Wow! A true piece of art and labor of love, thanks for sharing this masterpiece with us. This beautiful trailer puts modern day manufacturers to shame.
Wow! That sure brought back some lovely memories!! That’s unreal all the work you must have done!! All that mahogany is just Beautiful. Thanks for sharing your “piece of time” with us! If everyone respected the past like that this would be a better world.✌️
Wow! She looks so BEAUTIFUL! I have been obsessed with these Spartan Manors since I was a little girl. You did an amazing job with trying to keep as much of the Original parts & pieces of her still alive. I adore it so much! 💋
We own two Spartans: 1946 Manor and 1950 Royal Mansion. When I read or hear people stating the Spartan quality was exceptional, I enjoy it. Not because it’s true, but because it isn’t. I haven’t decided which was worse: carpenters, plumbers, electricians, or designers. I spend a lot of time doing what I call ‘forensic carpentry”; learning what they did, fixing it, and trying to understand why they did what they did.
It must have been hard to part with such a beautiful trailer, especially after all your hard work. Whoever buys it will make new travel memories for their family.
Beautiful! When I was born, my dad was in the Navy. My mom and dad had a brand new Spartan. Iy was my first home. So, Spartan will also have a special place in my heart. Beautiful job refiting her. She is just lovely.❤
What a breathtaking job you did. I'm gobsmacked that today these models, not even adhering to the original build the way you did, are selling for over $200,000.
Dear Sir, I sure have enjoyed watching this video, spending time with such an ingenuous, dedicated, high standards and quality Gentleman as yourself and even your special lady because I feel her presence in you, it and everything said, done and shown. Spartan made quality to endure, you nurtured, sustained, restored and even improved. The price seems a bargain considering the classic elegance and collectors item that it is. If not already sold it should be. People would even go to a Museum ( think Smithsonian Design ) to see it and experience the beauty and wonder of such an American > Great
So beautiful! My only issue is the wood inside makes it so dark and I love light and would love to have seen these with lighter colors to brighten it. But you have done a beautiful job and it looks great!
Awesome rig, I'm not a fan of the shiny finish, I prefer the dull look, easier to upkeep and not so blingy and attention drawing. Just not a fan personally but if you dig it then good on you its just not for me. Love all the original wood inside though.
El vídeo es horrible y me gustaría ver la parte de abajo del tráiler como también me hubiera gustado ver el baño por el amor de Dios no se puede ser tan malo

Yes, but some had good features. Had a few travel trailers.

This is one lovely vintage treasure. I love that it’s all original and restored to original designs.

A bloody work of art! You're Rembrandt mate. 👍
Love this vintage trailer with all the great updates !
Beautiful stunning camper! You & your wife did such a good job restoring it. I hope you got full asking price. Camping in it must be a challenge though, everybody stopping to gawk & ask to see inside. Understandable, but that would drive me nuts :)
Love the shaving sink!

Thank You for the tour. Your trailer is gorgeous. Spotless in and out! It look's as though it just came out of the factory God Bless!
You and your wife did a spectacular job. Lots of love went into it.

Great restoration. I have no doubt that this sold quickly! Well done.
Gorgeous! I hope it went to the right family.

A wonderful way to use your amazing God-given talents. Beautiful work.
I grew up in a Spartan. They were never as shiny as this.
It’s a two year old video but what a beauty. Those pillows your wife made. ❤
The bathroom is a great addition and adds value to this "original" trailer.
Great Job! I like the water filler idea…
Stunning! Such a beautiful restoration.

My dream trailer. An amazing labor of love. Beautifully done. I am sure it 's long gone and living it's new life. ❤
It's actually for sale on tiny house listings.
I love all of the extras like that little fold down vanity.
Lovingly restored. I love these old Spartans!!
Cool camper. I like the old Hudson also.
Beautiful workmanship.
Exquisitely done!
Absolutely beautiful! I love it!!!
It must have been hard to part with such a beautiful trailer, especially after all your hard work. Whoever buys it will make new travel memories for their family.
Seems like plenty of room and no damn slide outs to leak. VERY NICE!
Beautiful! When I was born, my dad was in the Navy. My mom and dad had a brand new Spartan. Iy was my first home.
So, Spartan will also have a special place in my heart. Beautiful job refiting her. She is just lovely.❤

That is one beautiful trailer.
Beautiful job Mr!
Some people dream of living in mansions, I just dream of living in this 🥂
Simple elegance.
Hi Brian - We have admired your work for years. If you have any inventory of restored or semi restored spartan's we would be interested.
Hi Sally, this trailer is for sale if your interested!
Stunning work ! It looks like it belongs at SpaceX in Boca Chica TX

So nice.

Wow, I just piked one of these up. It is a shame it is in such poor condition. I hope to return it to useable condition
Curved windows! 😸
💜 Like in Edward Hopper's Masterpiece "Night Hawks"

With 49000 US you can purchase top notch modern high end van.
Then you missed the point.
Awesome rig, I'm not a fan of the shiny finish, I prefer the dull look, easier to upkeep and not so blingy and attention drawing. Just not a fan personally but if you dig it then good on you its just not for me. Love all the original wood inside though.
Is this still for sale and is there a possibility of delivery to Virginia?
I currently own this trailer and I have it listed for sale if your interested!
Or even meet us halfway?
The plastic inside the trailer , is probably Bakeolite plastic!!!
Very nice. But how can you take a shower next to the toilet? The toilet will get all wet. Doesn't sound sanitary.
Bathrooms like this exist in many forms and settings...
Hospitals have more germs.
I never heard a price? I’m sure it’s sold by now.
They asked $57 k
Worth every penny. I’m sorry I missed the chance to own it.
People doing this kind of work is a dying art form. It’s sad
Agreed
No toilet.
Towards the end he mentioned there is a masseter toilet (unsure of the spelling for that).
@@kamivelasquez3119 I thought I saw it myself.
