Me and my husband met a few of these guys while visiting the west coast. They were really cool stand up guys. They invited us to a party but we never went... But hope those gentlemen we met are still going strong. Much respect to these guys!!!!
For You folks that didn't know the Chopper itself was invented threw this club with Mr.Cliff Vaughs who also built the 2 bikes that were in Easy Rider with Mr.Ben Hardy who owned a local Harley shop in East LA . I would love to see C.F. in Canada one of the greatest clubs in the world they started shit and never got or took credit for ...know Your Chopper History and give thanks..M.L.R. from West Coast Canada ..
That's not necessarily true man. The Galloping goose and el forestero where making bobbers (stripped down) in the early 50s for racing purposes, late 50s early 60s was when extended front ends started coming round, almost a whole decade b4 easy rider came out in 69 and according to 1% history sonny for sure got the chopped and raked neck famous from the movie but was sported all over Kansas b4 it ever got on the big screen. Tom fugle (rip) talks about it in a interview as well. No disrespect man...SYLB

Im not disagreeing that that he built the captain america bike and billys bike, thats very well documented nowadays...im saying that he did NOT start the chopper scene or the extended front ends (which is also very well documented)...nothin bout race was implied until you came here man
