GM Multifunction switch Replacement. Chevrolet Impala Turn Signal Switch.

Here I bring you along and show you how I replace GM turn signal switches. We are demonstrating this using a 2013 Chevrolet Impala.

You had more luck than I did. First I lost my Torx 25 bit in the wrong hole (best to not do it blindly) and had to go to Lowes to get a Torx 25 driver to get it apart (and to rescue my Torx bit). Then I struggled getting the steering wheel tilt lever off since it had a death grip. Then the plastic shroud fought me for 45 minutes. Taking the old switch off and installing the new one was extremely simple and went as smoothly as it did here, but with the sun setting I just gave up trying to get the stupid plastic shroud to snap back together after fighting it for 20 minutes.

I was doing great until the last torx screw, behind the steering wheel, holding the old switch on. It refuses to budge and I'll need help. Who can I get to extract a stuck T25 torx screw? That's really all I need.

Ever deal with the headlights not working? Just got an 08 the marker lights work blinker blinks but only if i shut the auto lights off but still no headlights.

I use a test light I made with a headlight bulb to make sure you have power at each headlight plug. I have had vehicles come in with two burned out bulbs. If you don't have power at each plug you will have to get a wiring schematic and figure out where you're loosing the power.
