Members of the NWVRT enjoy vintage buses at their HQ at Kirkby. Regular trips to & from prescot give members an enjoyable day out
Those buses do have such character in them especially when they were first built. And some that have the best livery and interior.

Great stuff MW, as ever. What larks hey.... If it looked as good a time as you filmed it, wish I'd been there. When they built the RE's in Bristol they've have guys (kitted out in motorcycle gear) drive the bare chassis over the otherside of the country in Lowestoft wher they built the coachwork.
It was a good day though a little bit chilly. I remember something similar where I lived. Used to regularly see Leyland Atlantean chassis heading down towards the docks at Liverpool with the driver open to the elements. Can't say where they would be destined for
