    40! are you dreaming ?. 0 to 100 kph sub 7 seconds is what I have with 443cc, same cam as you but using a reprogrammable ECU . Nice video, I pay for my own Dyno runs.

      Very cool! What numbers were your dyno tuns at?

      Did you also change your gearing from stock?

      thanks for the reply, I first did a run on a stock bike, 22 RWHP, now I am up to 31.
      Standard gearing because I have done multiple runs on the same Dyno and it is easier to keep it standard (speed limits here are 110kph so I dont need the extra speed from a sprocket change.
      On the subject of sprockets, I now have available Adjustable Cam sprockets.
      When you install a Cam on the Himalayan you have no way of getting it set 100% because the chain slack takes up in one direction and Retards the timing.

      I have 2 Himalayans, one is overbored to take a 81mm piston giving 443cc and the other has an 86mm piston giving 500cc.
      Powertronic is not so good I assume you are now using the power commander from Hitchcocks.
      I have preserved with "Red Box" programmable ECU, it just plugs in to the same socket as the OEM ECU

      @@ozhimalayan477cc2 You are close to 40 cank hp now! ~ 37.2 crank factoring standard 20% loss. So, that’s great. I’m hoping I hit about 32 hp rear wheel this time. That’s really cool on the adjustable cam sprocket and a great idea! I actually LOSE quite a bit of quickness with the extra tooth sproket. That is where the extra torque from the big bore kit helps out. I’m sure if I changed back to stock gearing I’d be a lot quicker at the expense of higher cruising speed/lower rpm and worse mpg.
      BTW you will probably like my next video ;) I dropped over a sec 0-60 with my final performance mod. 🤓

    That's good gas mileage! The gearing was probably the best thing you could've done to help commuting :D

      Yeah, it’s pretty lovely! And I needed that horsepower to help with the gearing

    I am glad you love your himmy but i think you would love a Suzuki V-Strom 650

      I would love a v-storm 650! However, with the amount of operating I do, I do think the Himalayan still has a beaten that department, but the Vistro may have its chops licked on the highway for sure!

    Hi mcc how much power do the bigger valves give you on their own as I've done camshaft and only have enough money for one more mod big bore or valves.
    Cheers

    • @MCCJustMotos
      @MCCJustMotos  21 день тому

      They are the same size valves only they are lighter. I think they were really cheap. Under $100 USD

      I don’t know how much extra power by themselves, probably not much.

    what is the top speed after big bore kit ???

    • @MCCJustMotos
      @MCCJustMotos  Місяць тому

      LOL, there is a whole segment in THIS video about that. Big bore kit by itself with bit other mods mane gets you 5-7 hp over stock. That might be enough to push you to the max rev limit rpm speed of about 88 MPH. The SAME downhill max speed of a stock himalan. Even with 100 HP you are limited to max RPM gearing limitations of stock Himalayan gearing. You would need to change the gears or sprocket sets, like I did. The max speed of my bike at max RPM is 101 MPH.
