Nice attic! Mine is just crawl space. I think I'd try installing a bulkhead-style fitting near the bottom of the drain tub under the tarp, and try to route a hose to the easiest way out of the house, since it would be a temporary arrangement. The electric pump setup is good, but not as infallible as a simple gravity-propelled setup. Excellent video!!
Thanks Dan! Yep, a bulkhead or live-well fitting from my bass boat days was going to be my first go-to, but my upstairs arrangement was going to make it a pain to get right, so I went this route.
Did last year. 70’ elm down by the street,(city tree). Fell on the front of our house. Out roof is made of 100 year old concrete flat tiles. But they have asbestos fibers in them. The Ins paid us to put a complete new roof on. But not remove the old tiles. The epa will come out for that and we will owe $100k for that. I’m getting too old for this stuff !!!! LOL LOL I’m sure you’ll have better luck 👍👍👍
Yikes! Never fun when the epa gets involved. I love the look of those old concrete tiles…I bet it’s hard to match it with a reproduction tile. Insurance took care of us on it, and luckily the roof was only 14 years old. Hope it worked out for the in the end!

Loving the build, and thanks for the sub!

My problem is finding anyone who will actually go up in my attic to find where the leak is!
