The album is called Diamond Life, Smooth Operator the song. No dinner party was complete in the mid-eighties without this record bothering the turntable or CD player.
Sade is actually a band, so all the instrumentation, sax included, is integral to there intended sound. Also, there was additional expository footage in the beginning of the long form video.
The Great lakes are said to be the third coast of the United States. It seems you two don't know much about geography and are projecting. The Great Lakes are considered to be inland seas and their beaches are coastlines and not shores. So yes, Chicago is in fact a seaside town. Unlike L.A. which is an Oceanside town.
Saxophone in 80s pop music: Almost omnipresent, and therefore more often that not just painfully ostentatious, pompous, forced and out of place. This was an obvious exception to that rule.
Dear Mr Lavigne, I love your content and been watching for a few years all the way form France! I'm taking this opportunity of fresh comments to drop these here in the hope your curiosity gets the better of you : Corey Taylor - taciturn (live in London) Sion - inside the hollow (because I'm sure you still feel cheated from that way too short Howard Jones version of simple man) All the best to you! Cheers

My son played saxophone when he was teenager, but he stopped after he got fed up with our 5 dogs sittning outside his door sounding like wolves. The thing was that my son was talented to play that instrument, but he felt the dogs did judge him 😂🤣😂❤
This is a great song that I already knew. Instead of describing the perfection and wonderful transitions in the song, your reviews focused almost entirely on the story told in the video. And by stopping the video at the most striking transitions of the song, you ruined the integrity of the song. That's why I didn't like your reviews.
I love Sade. She's one of my favorite 80s-90s singers. Such a different voice than any other voice. 💃🕺💃🕺
I swear this song was played twice an hour on the top 40 station back then.

I appreciate the honesty.
The number of children around the world conceived to a Sade album is incalculable.
You need to hear them live especially sweetest taboo and soldier of love.

One of my all time favourites ❣
SADE 🔥💞🔥
No Ordinary Love is fire. Amazing!
I love the saxophone! It was pretty popular in Careless Whisper also. Appreciate your reactions even when you don’t really care for the song.
I remember when this came out
Me too. I ran to the record store and bought it!
❤ lol Ken I love it. Love the sax.... love jazzy music
Enjoyed your reaction...
Her performance of the song, Killer Blow, in the movie Absolute Beginners was terrific.
A better song to listen to her voice is probably s It A Crime (Live Video from San Diego), Start around the 2:10 mark.
"Coast to coast, LA to Chicago" Yes, Chicago, that famous seaside town.
As much as I love Sade, it appears that geography isn’t her strongest suit.

She said Maine right after😅
@ she said “Western male” according to the official lyric sheet.
@ “western Maine” doesn’t make any sense, especially after LA to Chicago”.
Next should be sade ' is it crime ' ( lovers live ) ..
I haven't heard that song in a long time 👍

Hey Ken, I understand that she sings just a little bit sharply, which gives her that sultry sound.
When can we get the "NO! TO NON-CONSENSUAL SAX" t-shirts?

Hey Mr. Ken we would like to see your reaction to Cem Adrian - Summer time. i believe you gonna love it!
I loved this song, but try Wasted Time, by Skid Rpw... one of the greatest vocal performances.

You don't know much about the music back then, do you?
her live performances are better than this

Wow, you're really focused waaay too much on a sax. Annoying.
Such a great song!
