Hi, i think I've asked you this before but will ask it again. Ou t of the imalent ms12 mini and the sr16. Do you notice any brightness drop? Also what would you choose out of the 2 of them. Also wheres the best place to get either as the prices are random
You can turn off directly after 5 or 10 seconds of operation without have to scroll to the next mode. Yeah.. its quite useful and bright. and as a gift, its decent enough to illuminate a close quarter Cheers ,😎
i saw a more recent review of this very same product where, when the reviewer tries to screw in a simple 1/4 mount the whole light comes apart in his hands. Seems like build quality was an issue.
I bought 3 for $18 Canadian for stocking stuffers and to have one on my ebike bag. I've seen them advertised as 800 lumens, but remember those are CHINESE lumens so you can expect %50-65 of advertised light level. Even though 107 lumens is more than enough I'd rather it be 200-300 lumens for the entirety of the battery than a max of 450 lumens for 1 min. That's kind of pointless for doing any slightly longer range work. But these are perfect for working on my bike at the side of the road. My guess is 1 min at 450 lumen is just long enough for someone to demonstrate it or test it before buying it(old bait and switch). Still, they are more useful than my Lumintop EDC01 with the diffuser cap overclocked with a 10440 cell on my bike bag as it's a great flashlight but I almost lost the diffuser cap and for longer range I have one of those crazy ass amurtorch E3S 3000 lumen monsters which I use on the medium 350 lumen setting most of the time which is overkill for 90% of what I'm using it for. What I do like about this is it comes with a bottle cap opener so if your car or bike breaks down, at least you can get t!ts up at the side of the road until the cops come. 🙂 I saw another review of this and as for run times this person got were 1hr 57min for turbo, 4hr 9min for medium and 7hr 12min for low. I'm assuming he didn't "game" the light into going brighter after stepdown so those runtimes are probably with a quick burst of light then sitting there at either 107lm or 55lm until battery shutdown. Still useful for $6 Canadian a piece. I'll test them when they come in. I've also seen some other reviews where the light did not seem to step down at all(can't see the PWM step down camera flashing artifacts even though they were evident in the modes demonstration)and the run times were cut in half. So 1 hr high, 2 hr medium, 3 hr low. Hopefully I get one of those versions I don't want it to step down I'd rather it hold it's brightness until battery die off.
Yep same exact one as tested. Lumen cut off to low after 2 mins. Why they would do this baffles the mind. If I want longer run times I'll just turn it down. It's not like it's heating up at all. Even with gaming it to full brightness constantly it barely gets warm. Maybe this is why there are so cheap because I've seen a video of the exact same unit where when he puts it on high(medium), it stays on high(medium) for an 1hr 38 min before dying. Maybe thats where this "1.5 hr" medium setting is coming from? It would run for 1.5hrs on medium if it didn't step down Maybe these are the rejects or a "new" version. Still very useful but not by half. However I took a razor blade to one to try and find this lens sticker and all I ended up doing was scratch a little around one of the corners. I'd be careful looking for a sticker which may or may not be there. Gave it away as a gift. I only needed one but got 3 🙂. I'll keep one as a spare. I might have a "newer" version because after around 10 seconds or so I can just hit the button and it will turn off and not cycle to the strobe as other here have noticed. Perhaps that's the reason there is no sticker. Doing a run time test from Turbo, no gaming it up, until dead will post the results as thats probably what people are going most use it for. K I hit Turbo and left it there so it was on Turbo until step down then 107 lumens for the rest of the test. I got 2hr 37 min on the best light (Other 2 were 2hr 27/22 min) until it was very noticeably dim still semi usable. Didn't want to drive the cell into the ground. Was very usable until the last 5 min and non discernable light output decrease from start of the step down past 2 hrs. If they didn't step down, I'd pay double the price. Especially since they have pass through charging you could keep it at 450 lumens almost indefinitely with a small battery bank. I'm a computer tech so they are fine for me as I have to work close but you'd be hard pressed working on low in an engine bay or constantly gaming it to 450 or hell even 277 lumens every minute or so trying to fix something. I even tried charging it at the same time to see if it would stay on Turbo or at least medium. Nope. Even if Turbo after 2 minutes stepped down to medium it would 10x better. Or hell, if medium would just stay on medium(what's even the point of medium if it's going to step down? Why bother?) or if low just stayed on low it would be worth it. I'm in contact with another UA-camr who ordered his direct from China. If his is the non step down version I'll post it here. He's testing it now and I'll buy a bunch of those and give these away for free as they are still very useful. Great review as per usual Mr. Flash.
Quick update I did a run time test on high(medium) and of course it steps down as well however it steps down to around 70-80 lumens instead of 55 lumens like the low or 107 with the high on this version I have. I got a run time of 5 and half hours before I gave up and had to go to work. When charging back up it got 477 mA out of a 530 mA total capacity on my USB current meter so there was probably another 15-20 mins left. Sad really this could have been a 10 out of 10 no brainer buy of the year for tradesmen and motorists. While I still think they are an excellent buy considering the price, the step down is way too aggressive and having it on all light levels is just silly. Or at least have a 10 or 15 min timer on step down. If we take the non step down run time of 1.5 hrs on medium(277 lumens) as accurate. High run time would be around 54 mins. 54 mins of 450 lumens is a hell of a lot more useful when fixing a car or whatever than 2 min of 450 and 2 and a half hours of 107. Hell 1.5 hrs of 277 is more useful than 2 min of 277 and 6 hours of 70-80 lumens. I've talked with the other youtuber "DrMBalmer" who has a bunch of these and he says some step down and some don't so he's going to create a video and open up one of them and have a look at the PCB. Maybe the step down circuit can be bypassed with a little solder? I may buy one from his source($10 CDN a piece) and see if they step down or not as these are so useful to us tradesmen if they worked properly it's worth the effort. I'd be willing to pay $10 a piece if they didn't step down, or the step down timer was like 15min. Or Turbo stepped down to high. High stepped down to low and low stepped down to 55 lumens would make more sense. "DrBalmer" say its possible this is left over stock from a buggier step down firmware is why they are selling so cheap since a year or two a go he paid $20 a piece for some of his units and they didn't step down and had a double click SOS mode. But hey, it's still cheap. As Angry Joe the famous you tube game reviewer says "You f$cked it up!"

So I Thought From My Heart That, As A Kind Human Being I'll Let The People About It’s Negativity First, Then They'll Think Twice Before Take The Buying Decision. Moreover As I Lost My Invested Money Against It, It Was My Duty To Aware Those People Who Has Already Decided To Buy This Cheap Tech After Watching The Videos, And My Concern Was That, They've To Read My Long Comment First About This Crap, Before Wasting Their Valuable Money Against It.
So Don’t Judge Other People As Like Your Own Complicated Narrow Donkey Minds. 😡
Fucking Piss Drinking Rubbish. 😡
Bro, it’s not that serious it’s like $3 lol!!!
Bro, it’s not that serious it’s like $3 lol!!! 😊
could have bought 20 of these against 1 tini2
Gulf in quality is vast.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV what would you recommand? is the tip se anygood? theres lots of complain with the tini2
@doel89 I have a Tini 2 on my car keys, Astrolux K2 on my wife's house keys and Emisar D4V2 on my house keys. Those are my faves.
That light is pure garbage. Horrible pwm and battery was the size of my fingernail. Definitely not 600mAh as advertized. Measured it to take in 87mAh. Big gaps for water to get in. First one I got from Wurkkos as a gift didn't even take charge.
Wurkkos should stop giving this trash to people.
Their own products are good quality.
Probably worth £2 if u can still find them for that price
A lot of those videos are fake. Its not that bright. SCAM alert!
