A week ago I got recommended the guy that repaired an SEM from like 1970 the size of a small room and I think 100k max zoom and now I get this guy just casually having one the size of a mini fridge do 250kx. And now I want one.
Same 😂 Since you've already watched these videos, I recommend you watch the video from the Branch education channel about electron microscopes, It's a real class with incredible animations, it's worth checking out.
My dream consumer definitions have been updated. Electron microscopes have always fascinated me, they have so many uses and open up a world of discoveries. I am happy to know that, increasingly, they have become compact and accessible to the general public and not only for labs. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
@@MicroscopySpecialist In my dreams i see various things, like green aliens from the Moon. The problem is i have no scientific proof that my dreams are describing the reality. At least, thanks for confirming that seen a virus before TEM, i.e. before 1986 was not possible.
1. Price inquiry - please contact me via email (you can find it in "About"). 2. Yes, I had experience. Coxem EM30, Phenom. Each microscope has its pros and cons. SEC has advantages that i really like - changing the sample = Vent+Vac around one minute. It's extremely fast. 5 axis stage is also a good option and very useful. I'll prepare a video about resolution and adjustments. Phenom FEG has a higher resolution with higher price. So the choice is a difficult question. You should worry about warranty, service, price, payment method and other things. So for a benchtop SEM, SEC is my choice!
@@MicroscopySpecialist people with a million subs dont even have this type of equipment and a very hard working chemist saved up the money to get this kinda equipment and also the video quality when you have 17 subs and also i thought u were a big ytuber

Haha, this guy with the old Jeol is a genius. Great (possibly the best) restoration video ever.
Thanks for the comment!
Same YT recommended path here 😂

Yup.
Same
With the Microcosmos channel dissappearing soon on YT, I guess this is the best next thing

The first one is surely Velcro hook and loop
1 looks like velcro, 2 light bulb wire?, 3 a hair, 4 pepper?, 5 needle and wire
This is the biggest nerd flex I have ever witnessed. If I could choose between a supercar and this, its this. Not even close.
i am so extremely envious, operating one of these was mi childhood dream
Looks like a double wound light bulb filament.
Just a simple light bulb tungsten hairpin!
The algorithm shall do you justice
Very interesting, thank you
Useful channel, professional video, wonderful microscope and cool guy!👍
what is the chemical composition of its virus wall?
Same thing - you need a TEM with EDS(WDS) or something more complicated than a TT scope
Как и у всех - белок.
Very good 👌🏻
love this; subscribed!
Thanks for subbing, very important to me!
Сколько стоит этот микроскоп ?
"cover with metal or carbon"
astronomer: "Ain't it the same?!" ))
But now for real: That's the coolest toy ever!
Congrats, man! (Sub)
Now try to become the first man on earth who will see a virus.
Unfortunately there are two problems... 1) viruses have already been seen 2) I need a TEM for this

What does theirs go for ($) and have you used other desktop SEM brands to be able to give a comparison?

Same here, arrived with algo recommendation, assumed by video quality it was at least 100k subs or more. Really surprised by this.
1 Velcro. 2 Velcro. 3 metal wire with corrosion. 4 Pollen. 5 Needle and thread
@@MicroscopySpecialist How big is the stage?
What a great vid for some random bloke with 22 subs after I subscribed. How is this channel monetized already?!
Thanks for your subscription! I'm a newbie, you helped me a lot.
151 subs now 💪🏽😤
Keep it up!
