Guys, I watched a much longer portion of this Howard Stern show. You are right, James was emotional. Let me tell you why. Elton John was also there because he was also singing a Metallica song on their new album. Elton John had just got done saying that "Nothing Else Matters" was the greatest song ever written. When Elton said that about the song, James started crying. Then right after that James listened to Mileys story. That might of added to it. It was pretty awesome to watch. I never watch Howard but I did because Metallica was on there. Im so glad I did. Thanks for reacting to it. I have always been hoping somebody would. she rubs me the wrong way which is hard to do cus i can rub up on a door and ill get excited lol but i was impressed with this Im not gonna lie! I dont know if she has an amazing talking voice its sounds like shes smoke 4 packs of cigs per day for 20 years lol but her singing voice is good!

I don't get it. Maybe because I'm not a native speaker, maybe I'm dumb. But are you saying, because you usually like anyone or any musician it's weird to you that you don't like Miley Cyrus?
That you are impressed with this maybe just says that you don't really know her. I mean, that wouldn't be too surprising. People stay away from stuff they deemed to be bad.
She "rubs me the right way", but I don't like all her stuff either, her live performances are usually great, though. Anyways. Have a good one.
@@Cliohna no not her music I don't know enough of it to comment on. But what I meant by she rubs me the wrong way is, “as a person” with her life choices that she has made in the past! I've seen her do a lot cringy shit for attention! She's definitely calmed down quite a bit these days cause I'm not seeing headlines of her acting crazy anymore. And when I said I can rub on a door and get excited I'm basically saying it's hard to rub me the wrong way! I can usually tolerate quite a bit of crazy cus I dabble in the crazy myself but something about her never set right with me! But this was an amazing version of a song I grew up loving! She killed it!! I'm willing to allow her to rub up on me now to see if I'll like it! Lol haha 🤷♂️

I read a little bit about her "crazy phase" and it actually was likely to her contract with Disney. She was allegedly "taken to the cleaners" as a child star, you know, Hannah Montana or what it was called. Out of all the actors on her show she got the short end of the stick, meaning the least amount of money in comparison to the hours she worked. She did a lot of tours including globally, where she also got comparably little (which is still a lot, I'm sure). And her schedule was so strenuous as a child she still doesn't like to tour globally and didn't since 2013 or something like that.
Anyways her "crazy phase" was a way to get out of her contract with Disney and use her own name for her music. And if that is true, it worked. Actually kind of smart.
