Like this version a lot. And I usually listen very little of Miley's singing. Have heard Wrecking ball last. She hadn't voice like this back then, now I know that she's had lot of surgery done, and she was burning candle from both ends in her early yrs. But I actually like her artistic talent and also now she has much better voice suited for "rock" music.

Also well worth a watch: Miley and Billy Idol "Rebel Yell" live Lady Gaga and Metallica: She was so into being a metal babe she refused to wear any pants! Utterly nailed the vocal.
Miley Cyrus and Metallic? Heck yeaeeeeaaaaah! lol Wow I didn't know this collaboration existed. What a killer performance from both Miley and Metallica! They pick a great song to collab. Those guitar solos are amazing! 😀
Its crazy how you mentioned them reading off of each other in the beginning because since they didn't get to rehearse their performance together, they LEGIT just read off of each other. INSANE !!!!
Me being a 20 somthing yr old man I never really cared for mioey cyrus pop songs. But I'm really digging her rock covers. She has an unique voice and is definitely a rock star.
I have a feeling she always loved rock. She totally has the voice for it. It sounds she seems more comfortable in this genre.I"ve seen her sing blues as well
It’s so fascinating how effortless and comfortable low notes seem to be for her. Really fun watching your reaction! Can tell you really enjoy it 😊. And mine will be up in an hour, haha! Great minds..
Your videos are so nice and relaxing to watch! And you have a beautiful voice too. It's a pleasure to follow your work on this channel. Keep up the good work! Thanks
Talking about other versions of Nothing Else Matters, check the amazing andino style version made by Mon Laferte, also invited by Metallica to be part of the Blacklist
What a wonderfull version of one of my favorite songs, this was a great reaction and a pleasure to see you Jennifer and enjoy your preety face and your smile¡¡
Metal bands all pretty much have the ability to go low and slow to build drama, and often their best music emerges from it. Female vocalists in "beauty and beast" duets have been common for a while but the huskier lower female voices and the growls from female throats have become also common. I'd love to hear Miley team up with Tatiana Schmayluk who can go up higher and down lower than her, with Miley handling the middle.
Until recently, I had overlooked the vocals of James Hetfield. Maybe because I have been so enthralled by their instrumentals and deep lyrical genius. James' vocals always just seemed mediocre because he doesn't have a big range, but he is actually a really good singer. Hopefully you will react to more Metallica. If you want feels, try fade to black, or One, or Sanitarium. But their talent with instrumentals have inspired strong emotion on their own.
Following on this trend, have you looked into reacting to Alessia Cara's and The Warning's version of Enter Sandman, from that same Metallica album? Would be interesting to hear your insightful comments on those artist's interpretation of a Metallica song.
I agree. You can also find out beautiful voices of these girls who are also making great original music. So, I strongly recommend The Warning’s latest songs. They are amazing.
@@JenniferGlatzhofer It might be good to know that Alessia and the Villarreal sisters ( _The Warning from Monterrey, Mexico_ ) belong to totally different genres so *The Warning* had to write a song that would fit a pop singer like *Alessia Cara* ( _a Canadian singer-songwriter with Italian heritage_ ) and they did it in less than a week. Since Metallica's drummer, Lars Ulrich had said *"Pick a song. Do what you want with it. If you want to play it backwards or turn it on its head, we respect and appreciate it"* they really turned the song inside-out and upside-down. 😄 In my opinion the harmonizing is the best part in this version.
Ahh, I saw this on Howard Stern's channel last week.😉 Excellent performance by Miley AND Metallica! If you want a *REAL* treat, you should check out Alessia Cara and The Warning with their re-imagination of Enter Sandman from the Blacklist album. It will blow your mind guaranteed!😮🎵🎶👍
Nice review. Many performers thank a good belt here, another there and everywhere improve a performance where as you sometimes lose the appreciation of the first belt? 🌸.
Different but still burned out on it from when the Black album came out. Do wish you would do a review on Liliac, don’t see a lot of vocal coaches review them and the lead singer has a distinct voice, no growling. They are a young family band that told the record companies to pound sand. Prefer one of the originals, “Mars” live, concert footage (be warned, 2:30 guitar “Sam solo” to start). “Dear Father” “Dancing in the Dark” “Sail Away” ballad. A few originals to start with. If you want to start with a cover, they are all good, even covered a couple Metallica songs.
What a voice!! Loved this performance!

Those low notes, though. Great to see talented musicians collaborate. Nice reaction, Jennifer.
I know 😍 so good!

Love it right!! So happy I stumbled across this 😍
it looked like metallica were overawed at being on the same stage as miley!!!

Ahahah amazing!! Really listening to each other, love it!
Miley is in her vocal bag! Great reaction

Greatest band in history!
The timber and vibrato that Miley use in this song make her sound a lot like Stevie Nicks.
Definitely!!
she became a younger Stevie Nicks! and that is beautiful! :)
Indeed😊
Those Mezzos get you every time.
It’s so fascinating how effortless and comfortable low notes seem to be for her. Really fun watching your reaction! Can tell you really enjoy it 😊.
And mine will be up in an hour, haha! Great minds..
So nice to watch! Blows me away ahah! And yay! Can’t wait to watch it 😊
It's because she had reinkes adema
Love Miley! Please, take a listen to Diana Ankudinovas new version of Can’t help falling in love. That’s another deep, low voice indeed!
Your videos are so nice and relaxing to watch! And you have a beautiful voice too. It's a pleasure to follow your work on this channel. Keep up the good work! Thanks

Oh that would be lovely!!
Oh, my God, it's amazing and left, since I was born 45 years ago, it's the most beautiful and wonderful, with love from 🇹🇭.

Really loved this song. I've watched Metallica performed that in Live Earth "The concert for climate in crisis" Wembley stadium 2007
Oh wow! Must have been amazing!
@@JenniferGlatzhofer yes it's really amazing! But remembering is different from recollecting, and now I felt I'm getting older ha ha...
Professional all around!!❤❤
Low register voice reminds of Stevie Nicks.
Yes definitely!
good review Jennifer .. i liked it ...

Wonderful song, incredible voice, great reaction. Well, its Jennifer ! 👏👏👏
Ah thank you!
First time watching your video. Great job! I watched Bel Development reactions before he’s very knowledgeable about instruments and stage etc.
Pretty good backing band... :)
Edit: anyone else notice this might be the first time Metallica played this sans pick?
Great review. Plz review her Britney Give me more cover backyard session. It’s a more recent one as well.
Oh great, thank you!
You have to check out Voiceplay’s cover of this!! It’s fantastic!
There is Hanna Montana with her pop songs and here is Miley with the place where she is supposed to be!
Another great reaction/analysis. By the way nice copyright song you were singing :-)
Thank you!!! Haha quite proud 😂

Another vote for Alessia and The Warning. This is not a cover; this is a complete rebuilding of the song in a great way!
Amazing, thank you both!! 😊
Miley has a Marianne Faithfull vibe lately.
Hi Jen. Can u possibly do a day in the life of a vocal coach plz thanks 😊
100%!!😊

9:38 her face 😂
Best COVER is : Mon Laferte (Spanish).

lmao the way she panicked when pausing at the solo cause she knew metalheads are gonna riot in the comments

She sounds like Marianne Faithful but not as good.
