I really the parallels between Tommy and dream, and even getting into a glimpse of Wil's psyche with the parallels between Tommy and Philza.

It's bittersweet seeing Wilbur beg for Tommy not to kill him, and panicking when he sees Philza in him reminding him of a time when he begged Phil to kill him, whilst also seeing a lot of Dream in Tommy. I'd be panicking, too if this tall child pulled a sword on me

He didn't use to be that angry. And it's sad he never really got to STOP being angry before ending it all.
Anger is one of those emotions that is extremely hard to control and overcome
I can't sum up how I feel without this turning into a paragraph, but the subtle details. Tommy's eyes going green, he's acting more like Dream, lashing out at Wilbur because he can't keep it inside anymore. Then, Tommy's voice breaking and he breaks down... ultimate icing on the cake! Good job Grimmi!

Wilbur has confirmed that Minecraft Utah isnt real and is an allegory for death
Wilbur did planned in Kll1ng hmslf but lied once tommy seemed so distressed abt the idea (and the fact that he found out) so he made up a lie in the spot (specifically Utah because its america and tommy wouldn't dare to lay a foot there) thats why is messy and makes no sense
He just wanted to give some hope to cling into to tommy

I really like the frames where Wilbur has to explain to Tommy he was born in Utah. You do frustration expressions really well that is a, "I will kill a child," look if ever I've seen one.
Frustration is an emotion I know well, so I think I'm able to translate it best in my artwork haha
Tommys voice acting is surprisingly good in this you can just hear the emotion and desperation in his voice

The showing of green effecting Tommy from how he was effected by Dream is just so incredibly sad and frightening. Amazing animatic and I love the facial expressions.

Sobbing crying screaming because of this. Just Tommy, I feel like he doesn't want to be left alone again, the parallels to previous events in both of their lives, I just, this is a good animation. Sometimes, I write novels for comments, and then sometimes you get whatever this comment is. Word vomit and my whole thought process I guess?
fr fr Tommy wishes for things to be like how they used to be, when he was happier. So Wilbur leaving is just ANOTHER person important to him leaving/changing, so he can't cling to the past.
It's very similar to Dream, who also wishes things to be how they were before, with just him and his friends.

I feel so bad for C!Tommy here, because he was so genuinely afraid that C!Wilbur was going to kill himself, that he was going to die and leave him alone again and that he wouldn't come back this time. Tommy can't stand the idea of losing anyone again because he just wants things to be normal, wants to be a normal kid for once. So the idea of Wilbur killing himself was terrifying to him

i love tommy's acting in this because it really does feel like that when you think you're going to lose someone to suicide. you feel panicked, angry, sad, lost, and desperate. i've since become much better at handling my emotions, because it helps to have someone stable and rational when you're dealing with suicidal urges. but c!tommy's obviously been through a lot, and i love how cc!tommy portrays it.

I was this many days old when I realised that Tommy becoming Dream idea would have been so fantastic. Happy all the creators are moving on and thriving of course. The fans will just have to get carried by you with these animatics. XD TLDR: love it
Dream and Tommy are so different yet eerily similar. Kind of like two sides of the same coin sort of deal, imo
I definitely want to explore this potential story for Tommy (would've loved to maybe have him be the villain in S2), I just have to find the right song/inspiration haha

It's really interesting to see how different youtubers have adapted this scene. Your characters always feel very alive in the way the move and express emotions. But what sets your animatics apart is the flashbacks. Here, it clearly shows how the hurt Tommy had experienced lead to him "being this angry".

GRIMMIIIII this is so good! it's easy to brush off the violence and anger, and fear when you can only hear it being played on square pixels but you captured it all so well into this animatic - even though i knew about the sword that tommy pulled out, i was still terrified of what would happen! amazing as always ^^

Jeez, just watching this makes me want to cry at this scene again. I like what you did with the whole part where Tommy brought out the sword n’ stuff, cause it showed there was still a bit of Dream’s control showing. This was amazing to watch! It definitely brought back some nostalgia.

Also i love the detail of Tommy almost being like the two who hurt him the most. It's like they caused so much damage that Tommy is angry, and capable of things than before he would never even think. But for lucky he still have his Friends for him.

I love that Tommy always always brings up L'manberg being blown up, i know what its like to never be given an apology and have what happened stick with you due to lack of closure.
To everyone else who has found a way to move on whether their pain was noticed or not, im sure they got annoyed (their characters.) But I like that he played the character of the one who never looks to the future but lives in the past, but living like that is hard when your past is blown up with no body to dig you out of the rubble.
Or even if they try, he stayed there, hoping for it to come back, or for Wilbur to simply say "Im sorry."
Yeah it's a difficult situation. You can't expect others to be stuck in the same mindset you are, but at the same time, having some recognition and closure would be nice, and help with the process.
c!Tommy is always belittled for it and told to shut up, so he was never able to move on from his past.
This animatic is beautifully done. Tommy's eyes going green, Wilbur seeing the past as it's happening. 💚 Wilbur giving back Tommy's original bandana, while telling Tommy"You mean the world to me" 😭 AND he called him "BRO"!! Wonderful Work 🪷 & Have A Great Monday and Stay Safe!! 💐

there are 3 types of villains. pure evil, influenced, and broken. i would classify Wilbur as a broken villain because like tommy he went through hell from the L'manburg arc to the Fall of Manburg arc the guy lost it all his country, his comrades (not tommy and tubbo), and lastly his own life when philza his own father was forced by wilbur to kill him. Wil never been the same after Jschlatt exiled him and Tommy, the inspireing, kind-hearted, selfless man was gone. the only thing what remains of him is the shadow of his former self. and i can just say, like Wilbur, we all sometimes deal with that, doing something so bad and regretting it so much that we're afraid to ask for forgiveness. 😔😔😔

I love how, when Tommy strikes at Wilbur, they both get different flashbacks. For Wilbur, he’s reminded of when Philza killed him. For Tommy, he remembers when Dream killed him in the prison. Excellent touch, you always do really clever stuff with your animatics, I absolutely love it!
Also, Dream’s lingering manipulation on Tommy showing with his eyes turning green- *chef’s kiss*
