God, Dream is such a good actor. He makes me hate him with a burning passion and I get so pissed off when he's being a hypocrite (while manipulating). I love his character because he's so disgustingly evil, it's amazing. I just wanna punch that grin right off his face XD

@@Grimmijaggers I've seen this animated a few times and a lot of people don't typically show Dream's face, he usually takes the mask off at the 'after you die' part and show a big creepy smile. Your version of C!Dream is smiling most of the time.

I froze up as soon as Sam looked at Dream after he said "there's a biiit of a problem with that", not letting him leave, and then I actually JUMPED at the "bye Sam" at the very end. This whole thing was INCREDIBLE and I can't stop rewatching it. Can't even begin to describe my admiration for how long this must've taken and how it's still so well done. Man the manipulation lol. Dream is most definite a GREAT villain. Like a lot of people think of villains always professing their plans in some grand scheme but nah. Dream is all calm, collected. And slowly breaks down Sam until he is fully reliant on him… It’s really great… I freaking love the way you animated it as well!!

I just love how he said "You're more evil than me" to make Sam believe, that he doesn't have friends to support him, because in their eyes he's an even worse guy, and "I don't think you're evil" to make Sam believe, that Dream is his friend.

I love how Dream sloooooowly was able to get Sam to do what he wanted. He got Sam to see Dream as his only hope to get out, to trust him despite him being one of the most evil guy on the server. Dream DID dropped hints that he despised his confinement and the torture he had to endure so him killing him at the end of the video was not a surprise. But the delivery was very good there

The last part killed me just the agonizing scream of an animator before moving on to the next animation it tickles my brain to imagine that it happens every time you finish an animation

im not even all the way through and jesus this is giving me chills, the way you drew sam when dream gave him food, and dream is using the same technique he used with tommy, isolation and reinforcement, both negative and positive, and you showing the parallels, chefs kiss. i love the facial expressions, the posing, the book sam is writing being a way to reaffirm his thoughts so dream cant manipulate them (its failing but hes trying his best), the way dream is using the same tactics he did on tommy, except this time, sam has no one, no one to interact with, no one to run to, no one with him, the only reason tommy didnt fully fall for dreams manipulation was because of people visiting him, Ghostbur being with him, he ran to techno, sam has no support, nobody other than dream so he is even more vulnerable, just ahhhhhhhh

I've never watched any Dream SMP videos and I have to say as my first experience of it, this is amazing. I didn't know they role-payed like this, I love villain characters and especially manipulative ones so the conversations with dream are particularly great! AND THEN you have your animatic with the GREATEST expressions on top of it?!?!?! I SUPER love the character design for manipulative Dream and Sam's is really great as well!

Every now and then you hear Dream's laugh and its chilling, but sooo good!!!
I love the animations, it is easy to follow and the fact that both of them have neon green eyes and that their eyes is one of the few things with color, it gives it a more focused look, like your eyes kind of focus on anything that is lime green.

I found it so cool how on the first Sam hated Dream but by even the second day he began to learn into his touch of it didn’t hurt. His ears lifted like a cat starting to get comfortable again! I love that detail! Creepy, but fascinating and realistic!

Yup! Because he knows it's a weakness for others. So he doesn't form his own connections, but he forces others to connect to him.
I love that ccdreams character design just looks... I dunno. Like a weasle or a snake or something. He looks evil, sneaky... I mean, they got it perfectly. It's beautiful.
