Dream wants it to control Tommy, Technoblade (I think) is using Tommy for some sort of "revenge". The story always revolves around Tommy. Ranboo also is soon going to have to pick aside. Remember, everybody is doing damage. Tommy says he doesn't want to be the villain but for some reason.. Every huge war always starts because of him. Tubbo chose his country against his own friend (a little setback of loyalty. I know it's important to assist your country but I'm pretty sure Tubbo wouldn't do this.. I don't usually watch the Dream SMP but it shows me, having a certain amount of power... i love the details- phil being taller than wilbur to emphasize the father-son relationship, phil smiling at wilbur first but then frowning in concern when he isn't looking, the new elements like phil ruffling wilbur's hair and protecting him with his wings... absolutely brilliant
it is actually a coping mechanisms for some people, to explain it very simplified: because the brain doesn't have any emotion to connect to a sad/horrific event, it just gives the order to laugh, to deal with what happened.

Bro the reason Wilbur remembers his death is because that was the moment everything could go back to normal. Because if you think about it, what would happen if Wilbur was never there? Tommy wouldn't have to worry about the wars anymore because Wilbur wasn't there to make L'Manburg and start the whole war against Dream and Wilbur, Tubbo could have never even heard of L'Manburg and be happy living a peaceful life on the end of a road, even Philza wouldn't have to worry about his insane son trying to destroy everything to stop war. So without Wilbur none of the Dream SMP wars would have started. Making the only logical reason Wilbur can remember his death was because he could remember everything leading up to that very moment where he pressed the button and Philza killed him then all the things he could have done to stop the violence of L'Manburg from overtaking everything in it's path flooding his memories. And making that the unfinished symphony, turn everything back to normal.
The "mhm" from Phil always gets me, he's just disappointed but is trying so hard to hide it. Ugh, my heart just loves slapping with emotions at the worst possible time

The way you incorporated the one moment where both Phil and Wilbur laughed as a sweet moment between them, where Phil thought he was actually convincing Wil and he gave him an affectionate head pat like...that shows so much familiarity between them and really drives home the father/son dynamic. All the other interpretations I’ve seen have used Wilbur’s chuckle there as just another part of his deranged persona, but this is so real in a different way. I really like it
As Phil stabs his sword through Wilbur's chest, his wings shatter, it's feathers fading into the wind as he cradles Wilbur's dying body to the ground. When he killed Wilbur, he cut his own wings, and nommater the lifetimes of forgiveness, he could never bring himself to fly again.
I’m very late to point this out but I feel like its something important in a way? When Philza first calls out to Wilbur, Wilbur’s first in instinct is to say “ Phil? .. I wasn’t doing anything ” in a panicked voice, after philza asked what he was doing. A reaction I felt was almost child like. And what I mean by that is that I felt like it was a reaction only a child would give when they are caught doing something that they know they clearly weren’t supposed to be doing in the first place. Idk it’s just something I thought was interesting, this was just how I view that moment but it’s just an opinion lol

I love how this one shows a version of Phil's emotions I have yet to have seen: he thought he might be able to talk him down, and when he let him go, he thought he had. And then, when he jumps to cover him from the explosion... MY HEART. And then how it ended, MY HEART AGAIN... this was well worth the wait.
Everything about this is literally perfect. The emotions, Phil comforting Will, Wills eyes turning red when he starts talking about the tnt, Phil protecting will after the explosion and the hint of anger that Phil has after the explosion as well. Everything about it is truly amazing.

Ok whenever philza kills Wilber it makes me so sad because essentially Wilbur wants to commit suicide because of his failures and stuff and then philza does because doesn’t want Wilbur to be tormented by everything’s he’s done It just makes me so SAD
i was rewatching this and noticed - at 3:30 wilbur looks down at his friends looking scared and it was at that moment wilbur realized he couldn't bear to live any longer, he just couldnt go back and be with his friends after all the terrible things he's done, which may have triggered him to beg philza to put him out of his misery.... MAN ;__;
This dream SMP has more lore than the whole of FNAF itself. I wouldn't be surprised if they came out with a 10 book series, two movies and a musical by the end of the year.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS JUST PERFECT. THE EXPRESSIONS, THE BODY LANGUAGE, EVERYTHING! PHILZA BEING SUCH A DAD DESPITE WIL THREATENING TO BLOW EVERYTHING UP, AND WIL JUST SPIRALING FURTHER AND FURTHER DOWN INTO THE DARKNESS WITH EACH PASSING SECOND IS JUST PHENOMENAL.

I can more than agree because I watch Evans Mc UA-cam recapped the whole series and this moment of the smp I watched and cried because we all in some way built something and had to destroy weather that be in game or reality this connected us deeply I love this animation I wish it was a real show
There's so much emotion in every single frame you drew, and it's honestly breathtaking. All the little details you threw in - Phil touching Wilbur's hair, laughing while hugging him, Wilbur's look of complete despair when he talks about his unfinished symphony - it's genuinely amazing, and you did such a fantastic job on this.
This was an amazing interpretation of the performances by Wilbur and Phil. It actually incorporates Phil's laughter into the scene by having him approach WIlbur as a worried father rather than an enemy. It plays Wilbur asking Phil to kill him as a desperate plea to punish himself rather than looking for some nobel end. I'm in love with this scene. Well done.

I love how this one shows a version of Phil's emotions I have yet to have seen: he thought he might be able to talk him down, and when he let him go, he thought he had. And then, when he jumps to cover him from the explosion... MY HEART. And then how it ended, MY HEART AGAIN... this was well worth the wait.

Everything about this is literally perfect. The emotions, Phil comforting Will, Wills eyes turning red when he starts talking about the tnt, Phil protecting will after the explosion and the hint of anger that Phil has after the explosion as well. Everything about it is truly amazing.

Every single facial expression is absolutely phenomenal. Phil’s are my personal favourites, especially his reaction to the damage.
This was an amazing interpretation of the performances by Wilbur and Phil. It actually incorporates Phil's laughter into the scene by having him approach WIlbur as a worried father rather than an enemy. It plays Wilbur asking Phil to kill him as a desperate plea to punish himself rather than looking for some nobel end. I'm in love with this scene. Well done.
