    0:20 you said it's a nominal sentence "big house" , but this is a phrase, not a sentence, a sentence is something like "house is big", so can you clarify? I'm a beginner in arabic

    • @ArabicKhatawaat
      @ArabicKhatawaat  3 роки тому +1

      Great observation. A sentence is a combination of words. They come in many forms as descriptive or informative sentences (in arabic .....
      The house is big: Information
      A big house : Description

      Pausing with Sokoon is meant for speaking. Grammatical endings of verbs come with Damma in formal speaking. Both end sounds are common.

      @@ArabicKhatawaat Thank you for your swift reply :)
      I have one more question if you would be so kind to reply, my understanding is that min fadlak means by/from your grace.
      Grace is a noun, which is fadl in arabic, so if you say your grace, shouldn't it be fadluka in the masculine form as per convention? why is it fadlak and not fadluka?
      Simlarly, why is it fadlik and not fadluki in the feminine case.
      Sorry if I seem a tad pedantic, but I'm a mathematician and little details matter to us lol.
      Also, are there any books you can recommend to supplement your videos?
      Thank you ever so much :)
