    Can we appreciate Hoshi as well though? The woman is only about 5'3 compared to the others who are nearly 6'0

      i love her for that reason, I relate to her so much (both height and main stroke lmao)
      like ppl called me a shrimp so many times whenever i swim the 100 fly like sorry for not choosing to be taller 😭

      @@melizzzalty3014 Same here I'm 5'2 myself and before covid I was trying to get into competitive swimming after not being able to for my entire life(unfortunately it had to be put on hold (╥﹏╥)) but I kinda looked up to Hoshi since we're almost the same height and she swims the stroke I would like to swim! Not only that but she's still making it to the top 3 as well!
      (Also you're a weeb as well ayyyy)

    What happened to Liu Zige?? And, it's pronounced as Liu Zi Ge, not Liu Zig. Olympics commentators, please show more respect for Chinese competitors.

      Yi Jiun it’s not like this is the only event they comment on. Seriously, people really need to stfu about things that have literally no effect on anything. A mispronunciation doesn’t matter so why freak tf would you freak out.

    Hmmmmm ... i noticed in the 2nd last leg of the race, the swimmer the camera was on didnt use the primary/larger dolphin kick in her stroke. I wonder why

      If you could genetically engineer a human to be a phenomenal swimmer you would have Michael Phelps. He has the perfect body for swimming.
