My Great Grandfather was born in a little village called Drum up in County Monaghan but left for the States at the end of the 19th Century. However I guess I am rather strange, I do not want to live on the coast and would prefer to reside near a forrest, away from everyone.
I early love your energy and excitement in each and every video. It brings me such joy to watch you share these lovely little gems in each video-Thank you.
Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
Mind if I ask you recommend this particular professional you use their service? i have quite a lot of marketing problems.
credits to Jenny Pamogas Canaya , one of the best portfolio manager;s out there. she;s well known, you should look her up
Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her résumé.......
Hi Maggie, we’re currently looking for a house commuting distance to Cork and it’s been a tough slog with a lot of bidding wars. I love your positivity and your can do attitude. Keep up the good work!
In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not strongly reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments...........
Very true, I find myself lucky enough exposed to money management at an early age. Worked full time when I was 19, purchased first home at 28, fast forward time... I'm 50 now, got laid off March 2020 amidst lockdown, a blessing in disguise. At once, I consulted an advisor to stay afloat and with subsequent investments, I'm only 15% short of $1m as of today.
'Jenny Pamogas Canaya is the lady's name. I first saw her on a goldman sachs' report, then on Smart Advisors, and immediately looked her up on the internet; it was the best decision I've made to stay afloat in these crazy times. She has been outstanding.
Never would have thought of Belmullet as an expensive area!
Rural Ireland and public transport 🤣🤣🤣
Maggie you are wonderful!! So much helpful info.
One of the biggest issues with 'cheap' houses in Ireland is usually there is no broadband internet access. So many places only have 4G mobile internet which is really not good enough if you were work from home. Every time I watch this show, I think in many cases, there is no way these houses have proper internet access yet the person viewing usually says they want to work from home.
It's often also the only way if you live so far out from a commuters belt. You pretty much HAVE to work remote. But as you said...how!?
Starlink would be a huge option here
Hi there. Love your channel and what you do. Perfect for this perfect property dreamer. xx
THANK YOU, Maggie!
We have just returned from Ireland....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
At least I now know where these beautiful places are that you have mentioned....I just love the way you have focused our options...
Thank you, ....⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️
Just love
Thank you! Love your personality!
Thanks Maggie, interesting video, there's always something making it difficult, perhaps a three bed tent in a cheap field is an option !.
Really enjoy your channel!
Love that Belmullet got so many mentions, great spot
Yes I was so surprised! My grandfather is from glencastle
@@theresaokamoto3202 Glencastle is where my mum goes to church
Houses in Ireland seem to be way overpriced.
In 18 months I expect a cash buyer with 150k will be able to buy a house now valued at 300k.
There is a very serious depression heading our way.
GR8 advice Mrs!
Very good info💛💚💛
As someone who is moving out of my parents house in a few years it is a little bit scary how expensive cities are.. I feel like Leitrim, Roscommon or Cavan are my only options... 😐
Hi, Maggie. wonderful advices! do you know why a site with a disused quarry is so cheap? Are there any restrictions about such sites to build new built in Ireland?
I would love to move there from the USA after having visited there 3 years ago. So much beautiful land outside of my window on my train trip from Dublin to Cork. How about having a new house built?
Hey, great videos! Im looking at buying my first house. I want to move to ireland to do it. The company i work for has a branch in cork/ galway/ dublin. Which one of these three has the best chances of finding a good starter home for me my partner and daughter? Tia
Don't under estimate the great housing stock in Northern Ireland.
It is a good place to live and has a friendly vibe.
Hi Maggie
A friend of mine in Kerry put you on to me. I have just watched your utube video. Very informative, I had no idea how expensive houses are in any part of Ireland. I was born and reared in kilrush Co.clare... I am now living in Australia with my husband of 34 years. We are thinking of relocating next year as we are both retired. I love the West Coast and shur who doesn't like Galway and surrounds and MAYO. What do you think my chances are? I will probably rent for a while and buy a good car!! As we are in our late sixties we don't want to spend years doing up a wreck haha.
very nice really like it
Do mortgages work differently in Ireland than in the US? For example in the US your mortgage approval typically won't include all the work needed to remodel but in Ireland the approval can include these costs, yes? My family is from Sligo and I'm obsessed with your work! Looking forward to buying a home in Ireland within the next few years!
Estate agents can sniff out how much money you have and bleed you dry. AIB were selling details to auctioneers a few years back.
My grandmother was born in Limerick and grew up in Cork . I would love to have a home in Ireland. Someday. I am from NYC ☘️
As a Irish person living in Australia for 35 years, can you tellme what BER actually stands for? There was no such thing when I lived there!
My issue is... what If you HAVE to commute for your job but can't afford to house price wise? You don't have much of a choice. How do you find affordable housing if you HAVE to live in the commuters belt?
Good day . I live in Skibbereen. I've been looking for a small house for rent for a year now, but I can't rent it, the agent doesn't answer my calls. Advise how to find an inexpensive house with HAP
Just found your channel. I liked Sligo 👍, it's small/med size town, that had everything 💚 . I'm from US , I absolutely loved Ireland 🇮🇪, awesome people everyone was so so nice . No idea how much Sligo costs ?
And of course I fell in love with Gallway ❤️!!!!
Some great advice thanks 👍
I live in Clare and I am searching for a property and there is nothing here now that is rural and does not need complete renovation due to people relocating out of Dublin during Covid lockdown so i cannot afford to buy now
shur ye couldnt be up to them dublin b''''''''''''ds theyd get in anywhere take the eye outta yer head so they would
@@jpmcmotor6890 yeah the feckers!
Shur im only havin the craic .Im a Dub meself for all me 63years !
@@jpmcmotor6890 I used to live in Lusk I loved it but the rent just got too high if I could afford it I would live in Skerries or Rush. I did not mean any offence I was just stating fact pre covid you could buy a cottage to renovate with 1 acre for 35.000 to 50,000 euro now its 125,000 to 175,000. My friend has just moved into her cottage with 1 acre she bought in 2019 for 32,000 !! The problem is you cannot get mortgages on them , pre covid with savings and a loan it was doable but not now unfortunately !
@@mariehannigan6238 I know you didnt and i was just being light hearted. Cottages and semi derelict cottages around Ireland have doubled in price in the last 3 years. I was looking at one in Kilfenora for 48000E , now its worth double that. I didnt have the money at the time as i was waiting for a lump sum on retirement. I do now but its no good.I have two sons, middle 20s and they dont have a hope of buying in Dublin. I was planning to move and die there as I love Clare . I feel so sorry for young hard working people. In a couple of years we have to sell here so we can give the lads a start each. Other than that they will be here until we die and thats not good for anyone.I wish you well , keep looking , buy anything with four walls and a roof if you can, and the rest can be done over time.
Dear Maggie how can I get in touch with you
Hi can you share me some cheap houses near Dublin 15
Maggie...do you have any idea why a person cannot buy a plot or site in an area where she/he does not live?
Thank you Maggie for very much.🙂
Hi lily, that wasn’t me responding to you earlier. As far as I know there are no limitations on buying land or property in any part of Ireland. There are limitations on getting planning permission. This is known as “local needs” & I created a video explaining how this works (I’ll paste a link in for you in a moment) Remember local needs restrictions limit outsiders building new houses in an area but they will never stop you from moving into an area and buying an existing house. There are no limitations on this. Maggie xx
ua-cam.com/video/Owz9Si9-bO4/v-deo.html here is the link to my local needs video. Xx
ohhhh...ok....thanks for guidance i will pursue thus option then.🙂
Look for travel time anything over 2 hours is a long drive
So basically forget it. Un less being a hermilt is your goal.
I keep offering the full asking price and they keep inventing bidders, ITS A SALE NOT AN ACUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly i think bidders need to be tracked in some ways legally to avoid fake bidders to bump up the price
Where are ya finding cheap houses of 120k?😂
LOVEIT. ‘. BUT’ R. GO ON , WOOD U, IS DAT. RIGHT ,
