Women feel entitled to talk about anything now bc they are self empowered women so they can just make up some stuff about addiction. They get it without learning about it bc they are a woman. She has female intuition so she doesn’t have to learn anything actually; she just needs to stay close to white knighted enabling beta males like this guy who nod agreeingly

Wow, the ignorance and wrongness in every word she speaks about addiction, yet she speaks them so confidently. That’s true arrogance…
If she wanted to criticise RB, she should have done so without belittling and spreading misinformation about addiction (on which she seems to know Nothing about). Now any justified criticism she might have had, will be questioned. Cause if she can be this wrong about a subject which is as heavily backed up by experts, scientific data, by information in general(!), as addiction, it’ll be hard to find her credible when talking about anything else…

What has gone mental in this country. Just because you can use fancy language does not mean your point has merit. The aristocracy and elite (I say that in a crude way) just feel they have impunity against everything because they are able to exercise language better than an average joe. There used to be a saying “justice is blind” but that does not apply any more. If you can lie with posh words and do crimes wrapped in posh language then you will be fine but if you speak like you are from midlands you will be treated lot more harshly. It’s sad how the society (media) sort of applies less of a severe scrutiny to these sort of people.

The thing I've never liked about Brand.. Well, let's be honest, one of the MANY things I've never liked about Brand, is his use of unnecessarily pretentious language.
He''ll frequently use words in the way a schoolchild uses a thesaurus to make their dull, deeply unimaginative essay sound cleverer than it is, in that he'll pick a word that's sort of "meaning-adjacent" to what he's talking about, that he hopes not many others know the actual meaning of, but because it's normally a big, flowery word that sounds intellectual, people will let it slide and think he's intelligent.
For a recent example, he described how his transparency about his previous promiscuity was being "metastasized" into something criminal.
Now, I had to go look up what "metastasized" meant. I presumed it meant "corrupted or changed," as in his transparency was being corrupted and used against him, the poor little victim, but it doesn't actually mean that. It's describing the process by which a cancer spreads from one part of the body to another.
So what he ACTUALLY said, was that his "transparency" (I prefer to call it his "translucency" was the cancer spreading. Whether accidentally or deliberately, he basically outed himself by saying, essentially, that his "transparency" was spreading to other parts of his life, and people were starting to notice what he'd been saying and doing all along.
But everyone let it slide, because it sounded clever.
    "Hiding in plain sight," indeed.

@@PeaceDweller “Always been a conspiracy theorist” - well FM I thought he used to be a comedian. He went over to the dark side simply because the pay is better. The Right has more swivel-eyed loony suckers and therefore provides an order of magnitude more clicks and dollars. He’s not daft. BTW a “conspiracy theorist” would be somebody who theorised about the nature of conspiracy, whereas as a conspiracist is somebody who supports conspiracy theories. I suspect you’re the latter or should that be you’re a hatter.
