You know all that money spent on the Rwanda gimmick? There are organisations responsible for the safety net up and down the country that could have worked relative miracles with that money. @@MattBooth I think that’s an unfair generalization. A riot generally involves a range of people with different motivations and behaviours.
If someone is smashing up a mosque (for example) then sure, they deserve no consideration, only punishment.
But if they’re just pushing over some bins because they feel enraged and disenfranchised, then they’re hardly a monster. And they may have some reasonable concerns, even if they should also atone for their antisocial behaviour.
